I remember back when modding was just removing an air restricter
The magnet is to prevent rf interference. You see it in a lot of older blasters. It prevents electric interference with tv's etc.
Rather, a ferrite cylinder. Non-magnetized, prevents EMI. (Electromagnetic interference)

just a little mod that can help, the plastic mesh in front of the flywheels take that off and it feels smoother and shoots with a little more precision

It will be more powerful but if you keep the stock motets they will probably burn out a short while after

yes the performence will go up but there is small chance you burn out the motors.
Magnets are expensive. They wouldn't put it in for no reason

Nerf modding is still totally a thing if it's something you're still into
I fit a worker 42.5 gen3 cage in one with cronus 2 motors and worker angled wheels
When wiring for dynamic/active braking. When the blaster’s switch is in the resting position and thus active braking engaged: does the circuit keeps pulling current from the source? Or does it stop pulling current once the motors stop?
Regarding the cage crush and choice of wheels (either the black worker or cyclones) would going from 41.5mm to 42 or 42.5mm be okay in terms of performance but *not* ripping heads off darts as much?

wont the heat in the motors from the motor breaking melt the printed cage?
vastneon not unless you are using it for a long time or just leave it revving for 10 minutes straight. Motor braking doesn’t generate too much heat.

That is the exact cage that is in a modulus so get a modulus cage for it
