I am, I liked the fast paced list form. Skipped through 4 unorganized beginners tutorials because people tend to go off on tangents when they just decide to wing a video like this.
I disagree, videos like this one, like guides tips & tricks etc should be STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, just like this. He didn't waste my time, and I love that.
Do not accept ALL quests from the board. Ignore gathering quests completely unless you already have the required materials. You can check this at the bounty board it self by going to the second page of the quests. If you don't, you are clogging up the quests that actually require you to have them in order to complete them. You can only have 20 basic quests at a time, so choose wisely. Accepting a gathering quest when you have all the stuff will instantly complete it when leaving the board screen.
Also, change classes when you hit level 10 with them. This is the maximum level for a class, and it allows you to pick the next one in the chain, unlocking more skills and arts. squad members have a much higher class level cap and will keep unlocking more skills and arts. Don't forget to check in on these and equip them. Especially skills as you and your squad mates unlock more slots to equip more of them.
Yes you definitely need to make videos on some common things beginners miss... such as division rewards, the yellow chat bubbles that appear in NLA, affinity, ect. covering these small but important things can be very helpful
So far I think I'm having fun with this game... not sure yet lol. I'm so used to games guiding me these days that I feel a bit lost at times. After chapter 3 they just kinda drop you into the world and let you figure it out on your own which is unexpected, it seems less story driven then I thought. The monsters on the first continent are very high in level but I guess I'm being told (by other guides) to check out the other continents because they all have low level monsters.
Great video, but I have no idea who you were mentioning at :034. "Olwin?" "Elwin?" Sloooooooooow down. This video is of no help if I can't understand important information. :/
+ChaseFaceShow I believe he said "A woman". He probably meant Eleonora, who stays next to the BLADE concourse and gives you the choice of what skill you want to increase every time you level up.
lol People complaining that you need to slow down. I like that you spoke quickly. You got to the point, and moved on. Half the time I set my videos to 1.5x because people take forever to say what they need to say. XD
I'm down with you putting up more vids with more tips and the like since there's a LOT of stuff to miss in this game. (Like skills at all since those are separate from arts. As well as that simple "Sub menu" button. Didn't notice that one for like 4 hours!)
For those complaining: in the words of 50 himself, "if you listen a little faster while he's talking fast then he doesn't need to slow down for you to keep up with him bi$$h!"
So once you accept all the quests on board or doesn't show how tough the quests are its got a description but the isdue is the stars have disappeared so i don't know what quests in order i should be doing
i found out from GameXplains review of this game you could have your character cosmetically look how you want. I just started the game though and i don't know how to set that. Because honestly, thats a feature i wish more rpg's had. Because there is always that one outfit you really like that SUCKS, and really good armor that you think looks terrible. So yeah i'd lke to how how i'd set that up
Hey just go to the Menu > Party > Ground Gear > Select Character > Press "X" to open the sub menu > Select Fashion Gear! It is easy to miss if you dont know the sub menu box exists.
+Jamie Hyland I think that if you played the first Xenoblade, the game will help you a lot with its gameplay mechanic because it's almost identical. however i do suggest you play around the menu and manual a bit because you learn a lot of things that you probably didn't know or will not be thought in game. Edit: i played a lot of the original as well, and I felt right at home with the gameplay, even some of the effects such as Topple.
These sound like tips for advanced players. How about tips for a beginner? Coming from WoW the battle mechanics are so different. What are all those camera settings? What does "B" do and why does it flash on my screen during a battle? 🤔🥴
Wow ppl r so dumb now they all want u to slow down to be at their speed. Sad world these days. How many sheep can say the same thing in the comments?! tuh huh
When you are trying to give information to people, you want them to absorb what you are saying. The absurd rush you put in your words don't allow the listeners to do that. The speed you spoke demonstrates that you only wanted to throw info away instead of teaching something. That's why I quit watching.
Good guide, but slooooow down mate, we're in no rush here

@@alexilaiho1ststraight to the point doesn't mean talking as fast as possible. Learn the difference
I change the video speed to .75 and voila lol
Finally got to use the RUclips Speed tool for slowing something down. Thanks!

like seriously I didn't know you could level the skills as well as the arts until like 7 hours into the game...
you said so much in so little time, very concise Joe! I'm at chapter 5 right now, its a blast to play through :)
And I had no problem understanding what you were saying. Right on bro.
Take a breath. It can be a little hard to follow you sometimes with how fast you talk.
@Jordan Summers I'm pretty sure that feature hadn't been implemented yet in 2015, but thanks for the suggestion.
You should make more Xenoblade Chronicles X videos.
+Takashi Shinigami NO NO NO , if you do slow down because this was horrible and waste of time
Fast and straight to the point. I love that!
Yeah i definitely need help with this game. Please upload more!
Yes, please make more XCX videos, since it's very comprehensive game.

Thanks for the tips, but stay away from the coffee.
Yes! More videos on this awesome game would be awesome! :D

Ayy I love the content man but i would love it if you slowed down while you talk a little.
i think you spoke way too fast lol, but i found the information helpful :)
watch in .75 speed for understanding
Very helpful, but your fast talk is a struggle some times xD
Yeah do some more man! Hey you should also do some tips for controls. I know I'm a noob
also level up your battle arts.... I only learned to do that on my last chapter
THANK YOU FOR TALKING NORMAL! Finally!
And this coming from the 420guy.
For those complaining: in the words of 50 himself, "if you listen a little faster while he's talking fast then he doesn't need to slow down for you to keep up with him bi$$h!"

whoa bro slow down no rush joe.
Breathe bro, breathe 😬
Watch at half speed to understand what he's saying
excellent video. thanks for the tips. but... Dont forget to breath in between sentences ;)
Great info dude but take a breath once in a while- we're not going anywhere :)

What’s the easiest division or does it not matter?
I keep looking for places to put probes but I can't find any. Am I doing something wrong??
.
I'm hoping to get this for Xmas plzz
If you played the original xenoblade will it help with this game? Cause i played that game religiously
+Jamie Hyland I think that if you played the first Xenoblade, the game will help you a lot with its gameplay mechanic because it's almost identical. however i do suggest you play around the menu and manual a bit because you learn a lot of things that you probably didn't know or will not be thought in game.

+sintonado yeah the original is my favourite game ever, thanks!
whats #2? I could'nt follow.
Guide on multiplayer quests.
And then he takes a breather lol
is there a way to tame monsters like make them to fight along side you
Ahmad725 Sh :(
Ahmad725 Sh :(
+Sm4sh Kidd There is an art that allows you to hijack an enemy's mind and make them fight alongside you. I don't use it though.
Ahmad725 Sh Whichever one uses the assault rifle I think. Either that or it was the knife. I know Irina has it.
+Ahmad725 Sh the Crash class
0.75x you’re welcome
Quick question barely just got my hands on the game but can anyone explain to me how to use TP in the game lol and not toilet paper lol
but how do I play
PLEASE slow down D:
More XCX

Slow down lol
slow down
I good tip but you speak to fast hard to hear.
To the idiots who complain that they can't follow, drink some coffee, and play the video at half speed.
Wow ppl r so dumb now they all want u to slow down to be at their speed. Sad world these days. How many sheep can say the same thing in the comments?! tuh huh
first?
Talk faster pleases
Dude.... Slow.... Down. No, I couldn't enjoy. But thanks for hoping O_o
Why don't you try talking faster
jesus christ learn to talk, use some punctuation in your speaking. can't hear a word you say

You speek too fast, slow down dude.
Wow everyone is saying so yeah, Good guide but slow it down man, No rush.
I'm hoping to get this for Xmas plzz
