40 Minute Upper Body Burn Workout | PUMP - Day 19

  • Today is an upper body pull workout challenge and WOW I felt this pump! Be ready to turn up the intensity! We will work for 3 rounds of 45 seconds with 15 seconds rest. I am showing you modifications this month with resistance bands so make sure to grab your bands if you will be out of town because you will be able to keep rocking with me too! I used anywhere from my 10 pound dumbbells up to my 25 pound dumbbells so grab yours if you're ready!
    The exercises:
    1. Inchworm push ups
    2. Supermen
    3. Mountain climbers
    4. alternating hammer curls
    5. Bent row high row
    6. knee drivers x 3 and switch
    7. Back Flye left x 2 right x2
    8. Curls left x 2 right x2
    9. front kicks left, 2 front kicks right
    10. under hand row overhand row
    11. Curl hold pulses
    12. left touch down middle reach right touch down

    I did this workout at a gym today and some elderly gentleman came up to me and said “I saw you doing your workout and you were making me tired!” Thank you Sydney for never failing to kick my butt 😂

      I always do them at the gym, even if it requires no equipment and so many people ask about it!! They’re like “wow you look like you get a great workout” or “what is that?” And of course I love going in depth about Sydney and her channel lmao but I enjoy them at the gym because I have nothing but 5lb dumbbells at home!! Lol not even a mat😌

    I crushed this workout despite feeling tired from my mind not being able to shut off whenever I try to go to sleep for the past couple of days. I went from having a job offer but it didn’t work out because they were not willing to pay me what I was worth. Now, I’m starting a new job on Monday doing what I love as a tax professional for a small business close to where I live. Also, I’m going to get my booster shot. I’m proud of myself and everyone else who did this workout with me today. I hope everyone has a good day and I’ll see you tomorrow morning for our last workout of the Pump Program.

    So grateful for this workout today. It flew by! The first circuit was tough and then the next thing I knew there was only 6 minutes left on the clock.

    Have confidence in yourself that you CAN do it! Stop telling yourself that you can’t, change how you speak to yourself and how you see yourself and you will change how you feel. How you speak to yourself is affecting your daily life you may not know it but it has a serious impact on your daily life. ❤

    AMAZING. I am loving this continued series of strength build up and I hope it continues. I know a lot of people are saying they miss the cardio BUT Sydney has SO many cardio videos you can incorporate on your own. Cardio is all over RUclips! However, you won’t find the building up of strength Sydney has provided in the last three programs. I personally appreciate her expertise and know how valuable it is and I hope it continues into the next program. I can do cardio on my own…but this…this is unique gold!!

    Its cold here in midwest. Hard some days ro mentally go, " yeahhh ...its a work out day!"
    I can honestly say: no matter what is going on, fatigue, migraine. Grab a weight and start moving.
    Tell your self 10 min in: reevaluate whatever limits you. Migraines have kept me down over 50 yrs worth. Older age sometimes can give us a season if change. A good change. Even w a reg headache which mine always turned into migraine.
    I now feel better after 10 min of movement. If u can get outside and just walk in front of your house... try it. I'm just encouraging everyone to try.
    We have seasons in and out when its rough, harder or impossible today.
    Syd... thank you. Simply we all appreciate who you are!!!

    I'll never for the life of me understand how someone would hit "unlike" on a workout. Boggles my mind. I DID NOT want to show up today. Eating leftover pie was calling my name but I am so glad that I did. Thank you for always showing up so I will too Sydney! So grateful for you. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

    If you are a woman who doesn't get enough exercise on a regular basis and you want to start strength training, you may find it hard at first. However, strength training releases a hormone called testosterone.     For anyone new to Sydney's workouts...don't give up. This was intense 😳. But you WILL get stronger, keep going even if you modify. The 1st 3 exercises made me want to bag this entire workout. But after you muscle past that it was GREAT! 😓😰🥵

    I love when we do weights and cardio in one workout. I then don’t feel I need to do another workout for whichever we didn’t do. Would like to see more of those types of workouts in the future, Thanks Syd foe all you do.

    Pump has been no joke. I thought the first circuit was a warm-up because of the body weight. Well it hit me hard, and the rest of the workout didn't let up. I love it though because I feel so strong by the end ot it all. I can't wait to crush tomorrow's workout too.

    Man!! You are the best! I’ve been looking for workouts like yours on RUclips! You get results and have the style of circuits I need for my body type.     LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS WORKOUT 💪 I tend to struggle with upper body workouts but the mix of upper body and cardio got my heart rate up and had me feeling so strong! If you haven’t already, go crush this one!

    The warm up circuit felt so hard for me... Was going to sneak out but I stop and breath instead of stop and leave. Somehow made it to cool down 🤷

    Love how Sydney tries to make 45 seconds not feel like eternity by doing variations in the movement of the same exercise. But those bicep pulses were killer no matter how we varied them! Thanks Sydney for another great workout! 💪

    Did 4 mile dog walk today. All walks are in a hilly area so good cardio. Slow cooking vegan split pea soup for dinner. Started using 32 oz container for water. Make sure to empty at least 3.

    completed January 13, 2022. Today is my first on leave without pay, because I have chosen my health over my finances. I still woke up at the same time as if I was working, .. to make sure that I keep my workout routine ... now time to look for another job !!
