This is the best upper body workout I’ve ever done! I’ve just changed from general upper body workouts to targeting specific upper body muscles e.g. back & biceps and then chest/triceps/shoulders and I can feel such a difference! You are the BEST!!
being consistent in doing Sydney's work outs is probably the best decision I've made in my life. I was at the toughest trough of my depression in August, and when I've lost all interest in things it was exercising with Sydney that kept me rooted in sanity. I still have a tonne of problems to deal with, to build hobbies, interests, to get a job, to be stable in emotions, but at least I have had this thing to hold on to in my darkest hours. I sincerely hope those who have been struggling like me can find hope as well in Sydney's work outs.
@sammooa That's great! I'm so glad you have kept up with your workouts, it is so important to have one thing you can count on daily, when you are dealing with depression. And also the exercise helps to keep your blood flowing, as well as your neurotransmitters working properly. I dealt with severe depression and anxiety for DECADES (most of my adult life), and it is no joke! There is not a simple solution, and each person is unique. But for myself, I got the most benefits, and finally had a major breakthrough (and I am no longer depressed!) from realizing that depression is mostly a spiritual malady. Now that I have a strong connection with God, I am no longer defenseless to the attacks to my thinking! I was able to finally get off of the antidepressants I was on for decades (I did this very slowly, over months and months of time). I am praying for you that you will get that breakthrough!

Today is my birthday and I choose to spend part of it with you. You blessed me with a fantastic workout! Working out is not something that's negotiable in my life. I've made it a lifelong lifestyle a long time ago. It gives me energy and strength. I'm 61 today and know I could run circles around people my age and younger who don't workout. Thanks again!
Good for you, sister! I am 58 myself, and I am definitely in way better shape and condition than most people 1/2 my age. Most people think I'm in my 40's! 😃

(43:01): "What else do you need to make constant?" Making these workouts consistent has allowed me to build my confidence and dedication in other areas of my life! I'm one of those people who has no problem working out consistently. Unless I'm injured or really sick, I'm here 6 days a week working out, without fail. What I need to work on is nutrition, especially on weekends. I know I'm not the only one. Going out to eat, Starbucks trips, desserts, margaritas. Those are my weaknesses. I don't have much weight to lose (5ish lbs), but I know I need to get my act together regardless. I've made some steps recently to do that with so-so results, but hoping to become more consistent soon.
I’m the same with the workouts, I never miss one, it’s just my thing. But my son comes home from college on weekends and we like to have nice family meals and desserts. I’m not trying to lose weight though so I’m doing ok. I just know how easy that can get out of control.
Girl same! I have no issue working out, if I even miss a day I just get moody lol. But nutrition is the most challenging thing to work on for me. Fast food is easy to get and so good (especially during those night cravings) and I have a sweet tooth as well.

I'm here on 08/12/2023 for the August Favorites! Wow, this was a great challenge for the back and biceps! 💪I liked the format of 45 seconds first, then moving on to super intense 30 second intervals. A nice combination of working both sides together, and also unilateral work. That biceps ladder at the end was 🔥🔥🔥!

One of the blessings of Covid isolation and not being able to go to the gym was finding Sydney’s channel and her challenging workouts that push me everyday to be consistent and keep striving to build. Thank you Sydney for being the amazing trainer and coach that you are!!!!
Everyday, I look forward to the new challenge that Sydney is going to throw at us. I'm really enjoying these weight workouts. It feels like it did when I was in the gym before Covid. This is more fun though because I don't have all the unpleasant parts of going to the gym, plus I have Sydney. It doesn't get much better than that.
August faves: A year later and I'm still here. I still don't miss going to the gym. Sydney talking about being consistent is just what I needed to hear. That's my new goal this year. I started in the summer and so far it's been 4 months of consistently working out. I feel better for sticking with this and can't wait until I start noticing results. Now to dial in my sleep habits.
I was out the last year with covid and a hard pregnancy with a traumatic birth… but Sydney is making me feel hopeful again about returning to full health!

After STF'23 and during trip to Indianapolis, I lighted up on my restrictions and enjoyed more than what I should have. I'm resetting and getting back to my normal, happy and healthy lifestyle. Great workout! Thank you!!
Wasn't feeling well and had to take 3 days off.....so happy to get back today!!! I swear Sydney you really save my mental health!!!! It was awful not being able to work out and really made me think of the people who for whatever reason physically cannot do this....I feel for all of them because I know how much I mentally suffered missing 3 days!
I've been consistent in these workouts for over 3 months now, only skipping 2 total for reasons outside of my control. These workouts are truly a constant in my life that I love and need, but for some reason, my mental state tonight was like "oh you should just skip today" and it was really scary how close I was to giving in. I didn't even have a reason, and was actually feeling pretty good. In the past, that has been my mentality that gets me off track... just skipping one day of working out, and then another and another, and then feeling bad and giving up completely. I really thought I had gotten over that feeling, but it creeped back up on me when I least expected tonight. I was able to overcome that feeling even when it surprise attacked me, so this is a HUGE overall victory for me tonight.

Aug 2023. Had to drop down to my 10s for those bro curls but kept going. That last ladder circuit as burner. Loved it crushed it again! 👍🏋️♀️💪🔥🥵💦😁💜🦸♀️
I did NOT want to workout today. I actually didn't want to do this particular workout at all, so I tried starting a different workout, got about 5 minutes into it and ended up stopping it and came back to this one. I am glad I did, I finished it and feel proud of myself. It was not my best day for a workout but it was better than no workout!
I’m really enjoying this pump program. You burn more fat lifting weights than you with cardio. I’ve notice my body change drastically with this program. My muscle are definitely more noticeable Thank you Sydney for your hard work and dedication. 🤟🏻❤️
Working out in the mornings is my Great habit and I have to mentally push myself after Thursday's rest day. Now I need to build a meal plan that I can be consistent with.

Today I showed up for the workout with my sore shoulder. I dropped my weights right down to see if I could still do the workout. It was amazing how much I felt the mind muscle connection with dropping my weights and also remembering to relax my traps…

I showed up for today’s workout even though I’m dealing with sinus and allergies. Also, I’m recovering from my flu shot that I got on Wednesday after I did our workout. I’m feeling better today but I’m still dealing with minor pain. The workout helped me work out some of the soreness.

Today I showed up for the workout with my sore shoulder. I dropped my weights right down to see if I could still do the workout. It was amazing how much I felt the mind muscle connection with dropping my weights and also remembering to relax my traps…

Loved this!! I had a bad attitude going into it after a long hot walk on a South Florida summer day, but as always, I am so glad I did it!
I showed up for today’s workout even though I’m dealing with sinus and allergies. Also, I’m recovering from my flu shot that I got on Wednesday after I did our workout. I’m feeling better today but I’m still dealing with minor pain. The workout helped me work out some of the soreness.
