40 Minute Upper Body Chisel Workout | DRIVE - Day 9

  • Get ready to push your upper body! We are going to work our shoulders, biceps, and triceps today and I hope you're ready to work hard with me! Grab a couple sets of dumbbells and a box or bench if you have one, and let's crush this one together!

    In today’s workout we will work for 30 seconds and rest for 15 seconds per exercise and we will complete 3 rounds of every exercise. The training variables we are aiming for this month are high intensity power and progressive overload. This means it's imperative in every workout that you work your hardest in every work period. Start on time and work all the way through the three beeps and finish strong and proud of yourself! I used my 10-25 pound dumbbells today.

    1. Arnold Press
    2. Front raises
    3. Lateral Raises
    4. Rear delt flyes
    5. L Raises
    6. Curl and press
    7. Hammer Curls
    8. Internal rotation curls
    9. Bro Curl Left (I did 4 rounds)
    10. Bro Curl RIght
    11. Tricep push ups
    12. Tricep OH Extension
    13. Skull crushers
    14. Straight arm kickbacks
    15. Kneeling Kickbacks
    16. Curl Pulses

    Sydney- I am 60 years old and had a heart attack 5 years ago. I started your workouts during COVID.
    I had my first echo stress test today. I was in such good shape that they had to double the incline and double the length I was on the treadmill to get my pulse up high enough to do an accurate test.
    I have the results of a professional athlete.
    I want to thank you !!! Your workouts have changed my life. Your workouts have helped save my life.

      Fantastic!! You go girl!! I’m also 60 and started with Sydney during COVID. I’ve never been in better shape and completely agree. Sydney has changed my life as well!!
      I’m so very blessed -about to be a first time grandma and know that I will be working out as long as I’m able so I can keep up with my me granddaughter!!

    This Drive series if the BEST ever! For a while there Sydney went down the path of novelty moves. I had no idea what muscle/group was supposed to be activated, the sequence of sessions didn't make sense to me, and I didn't feel the effects post-workout.
    This series is FOCUSED, it is EFFECTIVE, and it's like she's reading my mind when I wake up and think "I hope her video today covers X." 👍👍
    And I love her explanations of the moves and science behind them. My wife and I are approaching 60. While fit and active (workout everyday, tennis, fencing, etc.) injury is always a concern. Sydney's explanations make the moves more effective and safer. After Sydney gives some instruction on a move and we adjust, my wife and I frequently find ourselves saying "Oh, she's right! I can feel that!" 🙂

      I feel the same way. I have been working out with Sydney since Covid started. I’m 60 and swear I’ve never felt stronger or better.
      I am more DRIVEN than ever!
      I love that you and your wife do her work outs together!! I wish I could convince my husband that Sydney makes it doable for anyone with the drive- regardless of age or gender!!

      Hi! Is this class for men too? I am a man and did this lesson with my mother-in-law. It was very brutal! I used soda cans as weights but could not even last 3 circuits as my arms just gave up 😟 My MIL did the full lesson using between 12-30 lb dumbbells! I feel really low and defeated. 😟
