Great video mate! More videos please
Producing session today @reynangarino4099 thank you
Nice quick demo! Note, only V2 (150kw) chargers need to separate stalls for full speed (they share 150kw A&B). V3 250kw are full speed for every stall, though if the entire site is full , it may lower power for all (all stalls share power to a degree)
18mins got you 24-72%, that's normally all you need to continue trip... anything above 75-80% gets MUCH slower, so... charging to 90% (took another 16mins) is normally NOT needed, and not good use of time, unless you absolutely can't reach the next charger on your route.
That is great information to know. This was a V3 supercharger location at Tilamook! I appreciate your time watching. Thank you for sharing your knowledge @cgamiga
@@adriangventuraWelcome... you might have gotten even faster if fully pre-conditioned, or with long-range (RWD LFP batts have 170kw peak speed/power, can't use full 250kw)...
I've gotten 10-70%, adding ~175mi (2018 LR) in 18minutes myself before! I barely had time to scarf down some BBQ sandwich + sides. Car almost always is ready before I am...
Beautiful car. Thanks for insight!
Thanks for watching
Very Good Video

Amazing
Thank u for watching! As always stay tuned tomorow! Next blog up 🆙
Good job, Yan.😊
Thank you! 😃
A more practical number is: It usually takes me 15 minutes to go from 10-65%, that's about 200km
For my Model 3 SR i went from 24%-72% in 18 minutes preconditioned. A gain of 48%
@@adriangventura Exactly. That's a bit more practical than going to 90%
@johannesdolch we were out camping at the Oregon Coast out on a road trip is why I wanted to charge up.
@@adriangventura That wasn't criticism. I am just saying, in day to day use you're not gonna charge to 90%
@@johannesdolch 👍🏽 none taken. I appreciate u watching my blogs. Thank you 😊
Nice info
Appreciate you watching!
Good job explaining

Salamat sa pagshare Kuya- big help
Interesting, I didn't think about park spacing when it came to the charging stands around other Teslas. That makes sense, tho. So question, if I need to charge at a place that's not a tesla or super charger, how would that work? Would I need to have a special adapter? Also, it'll depend on how much charge is needed?
All Tesla cars sold come w an "Adapter" aka J1772 - that you can connect when you take it to a NonTesla Charging Station. Its a plug n play adapter. While the charging speed may vary- Tesla Supercharging Stations are widely scattered throughout the country and main hughways and freeway. In addition, when you program your destination on a Long road Trip, the Nabigation will AUTOMATICALLY set up a Trip Planner for you for chargings stops so the car does not run out of power 😁 inhope all this information helps.
The stall splitting is only needed for older 150KW (v2) stations... the 250kw (v3) one he was at, and the majority, don't have the A/B splitting and you can charge anywhere w/o worrying.
(Only thing to worry now re that is when non-Teslas eg Ford, Rivian, Chevy EVs, who are just now getting onto the network, might take a wrong stall since plug is on wrong side of their cars)
@@cgamiga this is very good information to know. Thank you
Brotheeer! It was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Outstanding watch belt!
BTW how long does it take to charge on Not supercharger point?
I have a Level 2 Charger in my garage. Which charges 7.7kw/h - it usually takes 6 hrs to fully charge my battery from 25%
My Level 2 charger is called JuiceBox 40
This is another Blog idea 💡 i will have to show! Thanks for asking this question !
Great tutorial, especially for beginners or future owners looking to buy. Maybe I missed something but I did not see a handicap placard in your window or symbol on your license plate. So watch out for those spaces unless very heavy usage of the station and no other chargers are open. This happened to me (but I have a placard) but once another charger opened I went to it to open the space for a person that may be more handicapped than I am. I love my blue on white 2023 Model 3 RWD.
I appreciate your feedback and thank you for watching!
I wonder if there's also a charging station here in Iloilo since a tesla car was spotted here. 🤔
I dont think there's a Supercharger Station in Iloilo City yet, I am sure it will come in the next coming years! Uswag Iloilo !
yow bro... thanks sa shout out yay swabe and dasig lng Gali charging ba.. btw bro may ara man sha ayhan incase during travel may ara mn sila sng daw powerbank? 😁😅 but interesting bro thanks..
No power bank that I know of😁 supercharger is easy and straightforward- enough entertainment / gaming on the Tesla Screen while waiting.
It must be good enough fo a battery to make it always in a super full charged mode during charging, so that the battery will have a long lasting lifespan for it will not be rotten. But i think tesla has a durable batery because of its branded quality.
Research shows Supercharging "All" the time will significantly degrade the battery. Its great to use for road trips and from time to time. I usually charge on a Level 2 (not supercharger) at home. Will talk more about Level 1 and Level 2 Supercharging on future Blogs
@@adriangventuraRecurrent Auto and some others actually did a study from live car battery data, and there was NOT any real difference in battery degradation even for constant supercharging cars (eg, no home/level2 charging)... all about the same. It's more about charging (non-LFP long range) constantly to 100%, and/or in high heat, that can cause issues.
Supercharge away, it doesn't seem to be a difference, unless you are an Uber super-driver and supercharge multiple times daily... that might be too much
Once you got it for awhile you’ll start seeing 20 mins is better and full charge is only for if you’ll be driving far. Its far better to charge that way because the time to charge is faster at low battery then it is once the battery goes over about 83% also you must’ve not preconditioned your car before going to the Super Charger because it’s much faster than this unless you were at a 150 supercharger
Thank you for watching and I appreciate your input!
How far can it go for a full charge?
My Model 3 SR has a range of 272 miles fully charged. Dual Motor Model 3 has a range of up to 341 miles
You don't look handicapped. All the empty spaces and you chose a handicapped spot. Do better next time. People who are handicapped really need these spaces.
For 250 kWh you don't share electricity with vehicle next to you so parking one over is a non issue.
Good video
Yeah the completely empty parking lot needed that comment...
Thank you for watching the video
The one car apart rule isn't necessary for 250kW chargers
Thanks for clarifying!
Libre lang na erp wala ka da bayaran mag charge?
Subong free ako six months new owner promotion. After that I will pay. 9 cents per kilowatt hour. Much cheaper than the price of gas- lease than half
Cute dog. How much does it cost ?
I currently have Free Supercharging so I cant say how much it cost me. I will blog about charging cost as soon as my promo expires and begin paying.
Very surprised you didn't pre-condition the battery for fast charging? Would've saved you 10 minutes. Best I've gotten is 210KW speeds for about 10 mins, then tapers to about 150kw. and eventually 100kw
0:39 in the video shows me preconditioning the battery 🔋. I have a LFP battery for Model 3 SR. That peaks at 170kw. @alvink8317
Hmm. my bad missed that. at :43 the NAV didnt show pre-con upon arriving, maybe it cleared as you got close
@@alvink8317 yes- it cleared upon arrival, thats exactly what happened! But I can assure you I preconditioned the Battery 😁i had stop, think things through with filming, instruct my friend/cameraman to film a certain angle, review my points and my dialogue, etc etc.
Adrian!! Tesla has so much technology! I love how the super charger works!!
The process to supercharge is simple and easy. The network of chargers are much bigger than other EV networks.
Hope it’s faster. 15-20 min would be really great by the time i get a Tesla
I was thinking the same! My uncle said he could bear with 10-15 minutes of supercharging. Thtas his reason for not buying yet. Eventually they will develop and improve this part and many people will be more serious looking into buying a Tesla
10-20mins get you 100-150+ miles added, that's all you need to get to next charger, and the trip planner will TELL you this while charging... as he showed @4:55, 18mins, went from 24% to 72%, that's basically done. You don't "fill up" to 100% on trip, it slows down a LOT at higher % charge, especially after 80%, as described @4:20 . So it's already there. That time is about the fastest you can eat a quick meal or take bathroom break, anyway, so... it's almost never wasted time.
@@cgamiga this Demo was to show my audience how much half an hour charge will get you.
@@cgamiga Technically, u can use ur battery only up to 80% which means u have to charge ur car more frequently (every 100-150 miles like u said) and that’s quite a hassle when it comes to long trips. And taking a detour to get to a charging station will add extra 5-10 min drive every time u go to a station.
LFP batteries for the Standard Model 3 SR can be charged up to 100%. While Dual Motor Model Batteries they suggest to charge up to 80-90%
You used handicap charge spot.
Thank you for watching the video
Fast charger gd man bro.
Oo pre. Dasig man.
battery tech needs another 15 years man… my Bimmer gets 450 on a full tank…
I get 200+ miles on a full battery. Work gives me Free electric ⚡️ charging so It made my choice to go Electric easy. costs me absolutely free except when I have to go on a road trip and use a Supercharger.
@@adriangventura I can see how being subsidized for electric is a benefit
My uncle will only buy electric when battery is up to 350+ and supercharging is 10-15 minutes instead of 20-30 min. We'll get there eventually...
@@adriangventuraapparently it’s already here in China. 600 kW charging 10-90% in 11 minutes! Doubt it would be good for the battery but it’s already in production lol
@@KaboshPenguine 11 minutes! wow. that's great news! technology is advancing faster than we think.
