I love how excited you get about Tim's bass lol
The Oakridge boys & Home Free love each other. It's like Home Free is the young version of the Oaks ❤

Home Free also did a Christmas special where they collaborated with The Oak Ridge Boys and Jeffrey East on a beautiful song with a gospel feel called O, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem.

The Oak Ridge Boys are legends! They have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. I've always liked Richard Sterben's (ORB) bass voice. Sterben once sang for the Jordanaires, Elvis' backup band. And that ORB t-shirt Austin was wearing that the ORB signed? Austin has it framed hanging on his wall. Subbed for more Home Free!

Tim Foust, the first singer and bass for the group also has a fondness for doo wop on his channel.

Since there are well over 160 Home Free videos, you can keep going for quite some time. Any type of music - soft, energetic, sacred, profane, somber, hilarious, full 5 part harmony or one lead with backing vocals. And about 1/3 of their videos are original songs, too.

This is a great collaboration between Home Free & The Oakridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys.

I think this is such a beautiful collaboration. It's as if the Oak Ridge Boys is Home Free in the future and Home Free was the Oak Ridge Boys in the past

"Elvira" was written and recorded in 1966 by Dallas Frazier, Covered by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition and Rodney Crowell before the Oak Ridge Boys, who turned it into their signature tune in 1981. Home Free really looked up to these guys, and kind of took over the Country vocal range band thing. You can sort of see that in the video when Austin goes in on that run and Joe Bonsall (Tenor for The ORB) holds his hand above him, "passing him the crown". The song you got the slightest little slip of at the end there was "Honey I'm Good", my suggestion however would be "Country Roads", "My Church", or for a laugh "All About That Bass" which is all about Home Free's Basso Profundo = Tim, watch at the beginning when Tim says "All about me" and points to his chest. These guys are SOOOO GOOD and so funny, they never seem to take them selves too seriously.... just WOW!

ACE.. I'm not sure you quite understand what your watching, the OAK RIDGE BOYS was an epic county band during the 70-80's.. 40 years after their height popularity they collaborate with Home Free. (MAKE NO MISTAKE HOME FREE reached out to them)
Different era of music but still VERY important in the scope of AWESOME music!
    PEACE

Tim of Home Free goes lower. When they do this song live at a concert, Tim really goes low.
