I suspect the poor fella is knackered! A lot of people might say “How hard can it be? All he’s gotta do is fly around the globe & plug the movie” but, I’m sure it takes its toll after a while. I’ve seen many clips where journo’s are wheeled in & out, questions asked & answered, etc. in the last couple of weeks, in Oz, Asia, Germany, etc. and it’s probably the least fun of the whole filmmaking process. It also depends on what time of the day this interview is being held. Ali Plumb is probably aware of both & always seems to do a good job, I feel.
Back in school i remember drawing Wolverine in his yellow and blue costume during classes i couldn't focus on. To finally see it in the big screen was pretty glorious. Thank you Hugh for giving it your best as Logan all these years, and Ryan for bringing him back one more time.
I appreciate how much Ryan clearly appreciates Hugh and the character of Deadpool. Their chemistry is just infectious together, and seeing them together as Deadpool and Wolverine is just so good. God I can’t wait to see this movie
Ryan saying how one of the most important ingredients for a movie is "love" just shows why this was such a massive success compared to most similar films now. That's something I've noticed severely lacking in many movies/shows in the superhero/scifi/fantasy genres. Not just romantic love but any truly emotional moments between the characters. It helps gives those things a soulless feel.
Hugh called their film a "friend-com", so I decided to look up "buddy film". Turns out it's right on point. "The buddy film is a subgenre of romantic comedy, a combination of the romance, adventure and comedy film in which two people, bonded through some kind of affection or love for each other, go on an adventure, mission, or road trip. The two typically are males with contrasting personalities. The contrast is sometimes accentuated by an ethnic difference between the two. The buddy film is commonplace in Western cinema; unlike some other film genres, it endured through the 20th century with different pairings and different themes."
I just think it's genuine when he is telling them thank you for everything and making this happen, like Ali is speaking for so many. I think it's nice for the actors to hear that and you could see the genuine happiness in both of their faces. Honestly Hugh & Ryan, thankyou for everything, I'll be there opening day this week. 100% agree, this is one of those cases where it's not that Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool, he just is Deadpool. They are synonymous. Whenever I read any of the Deadpool books or comics I literally read it in Ryan Reynolds voice.

To me Deadpool and Wolverine are the Laurel & Hardy, Abbot & Costello of Marvel Superheroes. They complement each other’s styles. So different and unique with a comic flair. Deadpool’s irreverence sets up Wolverine’s super serious demeanor which then adds a comedic twist to the conversation. Very cool… ying & yang so to speak of fun entertainment.
It probably already is, but no doubt this franchise will end up being not only the GOAT of all franchises but it also stars two people that are legit genuine, likeable, and entertaining, the deep friendship is obvious and it's a wonderful thing to see.

I can remember being 10 years old and thinking the guys in my class were so weird for drawing this guy in a bright yellow suit and metal claws (pre-x-men '97, I'm that old, lol) and then a friend dragged me to x2 my freshman year of college, and just absolutely loving Hugh as Wolverine. I literally bought X-Men the next day and I finally got it. It's only gotten better (mostly 😋) and seeing Ryan and Hugh as their iconic roles is just amazing. Seeing other people's reaction to the cameos and jokes and fights, was just perfection. About to evacuate for Hurricane Milton and I'll definitely be showing it to family while we're there. It's too bad the kids are a little young for it). I already got them hooked on marvel and Harry Potter. But one day...

It's really amazing how the Deadpool films and character came about. It's unusual to have an actor play a character like R.Reynolds playing Deadpool in X-Men Origins written for that portrayal of the character and then years later the same actor teams up with 2 writers and writes their version of the Deadpool character for his own movie and everybody is just blown away by it. It's very cool indeed.

I watched the movie last night, and I am so happy i can now watch all the trailers and these interviews and fun stuff Hugh & Ryan have been doing!
It's really amazing how the Deadpool films and character came about.
It's unusual to have an actor play a character like R.Reynolds playing Deadpool in X-Men Origins written for that portrayal of the character and then years later the same actor teams up with 2 writers and writes their version of the Deadpool character for his own movie and everybody is just blown away by it.
It's very cool indeed.

you can tell they know Ali and his interview style cos this was about 200% more calm than any of the other promo :DD (in the best way, wouldnt have matched otherwise)
