I like your channel because you are a working man who isn't trying to impress with all kinds of fluff that doesn't have much if anything to do with the task at hand. You get the work done.
Oh my ! Is this all that's left of a magnificent D400D ? 30 yrs ago (!) it was one of my favorite CAT articulated Dump truck on the construction sites, and I even built one scale model for my 2 sons when they were kids, with many other tiny Caterpillar replicas ! Rock on !!
I was bitten by a brown recluse and spent 10 days in ICU with a major staff infection, necrosis, three mini strokes and amnesia. I had to have surgery to remove necrotic tissue and I had amnesia for two months and was released by my employer because they said they could not keep my job open for two months even though a week before the incident I was given a promotion and told I was the best service tech they had ever had. They fought the $50,000 hospital bill and I had to force them to pay with an attorney! Life of the working man LOL!
Was it a brown recluse bite or a staph infection because they are two different things that may appear similar. A brown recluse bite does not cause a staph infection or turn into a staph infection.
Great to see the next generation of go getters showing how to get it done. Ill bet you are developing a reputation with your customers in the heavy equip field as the go to place in a pinch, right?
When you see how it was situated inside all the other parts, just think of the person or persons that had to design it to make it initially. Didn't happen over night that's for sure...
What a monumental struggle. You'd think the engineers would do a better job allowing easier maintenance but....that's a problem in so many products both large and small. Thank goodness for the antisieze!
Businesses are doomed to fail, without good people who can work with each other. So many times, the tools, the jobs, the materials - are all in place, and the whole thing crashes and burns because of one hostile, contrary MF'er. Glad to see there are some guys who get along, and get a tough job done.
Quintin, what I really want to know is how in the hell you stay so klean on a job so filthy in your street clothes. Hell I got dirty just watching! Love the content keep it up!
Back in my days of school in the 78 we took a 3 inch socket 1 inch drive put a 1 inch to 3/4 the 3/4 to 1/2 then 1/2 to 3/8 then 3/8 to 1/4 drive and put a breaker bar on it n put in the show case outside the shop class and noted do over work your tools
Curious where you guys get your Cat Yellow Paint in bulk, do you buy it from Cat? Or aftermarket match paint? Thanks ahead of time, good videos enjoy watching ..
Work this is nightmare here calgary alberta I help one time big job with peter kiewit repair this not cheap but you show on youtube what happen.thank you video.
I think yous could have got it out without cutting the frame only because they are not going to cut the frame to put it in. However, since you’re a salvage business, that’s what I would have done too. Big difference in salvaging a part and remove, repair, replace.
I didn't have enough pop corn. waah hahahaha

I don’t think the guys getting this transmission are going to cut that piece of frame on the water truck😮

Knew you were keeping that rig for a reason, great video, thumbs up,suprised you did not invite Casey to help, Those transmissions are rare anymore
I love that heavy equipment stuff awesome pleas more Videos 👍👍👍
I think if you put a come along or chain block on the single leg you could of manipulated it out but it was entertaining anyway
Wow.. a lot of work getting that out. I'd never be able to do that without cursing.. a lot. 😅😅
Thanks for the video

Would have been nice if you pressure washed first😊

Ces machines remplacent progressivement les humains pour faire des travaux difficiles
Nice work guys

Why didn’t you pressure wash it first seems that would have made things easier
Could run it up in your trans testing unit. Run clean fluid thru make sure its good
Every time I under estimate my m18. It surprises me.
Could you please just stop talking for a minute 🙏🏾

Genuine Cat paint
How would anyone ever figure out where all those hoses go?
I do believe your lucky you are not installing it.😊
You guys make doing this work fun! 👍
Can’t believe you used that torch without dark glasses? Very dangerous
So roughly whats a transmission go for used ?
The key to it all is whatever it takes to get the job done!

How much of a job does the customer's mechanics have in front of them? They don't have the luxury of the liquid wrench. Whew!
Did good grasshopper
Greasy, gooey, messy turn into bling.
I was hoping to watch transmission flush process.
why don't you clean off the equipment that your working on so you can clearly see what the hell your doing?
Because if i wash parts that are open to the elements and they get water in them, three months later they are internally rusted junk.
Very Good Job My Friend ❤❤❤❤❤
God looks like you need the all the way up all the way down rules on your shop doors doesn't take to much to bend them up and screw them
Pity the poor brass studs that have to remove the dead box and install this replacement😮
New drinking game: every time someone says Yard Sale take a shot.
If it went in there it should come out there is always a way
Challenging stuff that heavy engineering.
Can you test that one on your test stand?
nice job
CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR !!!
The spider scared me too.
