Cat 735 Transmission Disassembly TOTAL CARNAGE

Disassembling the transmission from a Cat 735 6X6 Articulated haul truck.
There is a lot of damage in here 2 clutch packs wore out as well as a broken hub shaft.
In the next video I will disassemble the torque converter then in the third video I will reassemble the whole transmission and torque converter.

Yet another marvel of "Cat Engineering" (an oxymoron). The word "marvel" is specific, because you wonder what they were thinking. Same Engineering school graduates that came up with the crappy transmissions on the V-22 Osprey. Beautiful, powerful Rolls Royce powerplants with a "self destructive" gear reduction system.

Ya, I am a firm believer that all engineers should have to physically work on the type of crap that are designing for at least 4 years before they can be let loose to design or redesign anything more than a plastic dog house.
