Cat 735 Torque Converter Assembly

This video shows most of the steps to re-assemble a torque converter from a Cat 735 6x6 haul truck. Most Cat torque converters are very similar in design. This torque came from a very low hour donor transmission that had less than 900 total hours since new, it had never been rebuilt yet. I had to use the flywheel portion from my old transmission as this one was set up for a different application. I also installed a new updated lockup clutch disc as I do with every rebuild on these as they are the weak link in this transmission.

I hate working on benches
Some of these units weigh over 3000 lbs. Way better on the plywood
