    See How You Eat. What a great piece of info. I’ve used Cronometer for a year and no longer use it because I don’t count calories anymore and my hunger signals are much more clear to me now.
    But I’d still like to see how well I’ve eaten over the past several weeks so this app seems like a tremendous benefit while not over-fussing with documentation.
    It’s pretty crazy how much value comes out of this series of videos. Value spilling out everywhere. Thanks, Mr Gustavo 👊🏼

    I tell folks new to the Mini to please not get discouraged if you see people losing 7lbs or 9 lbs in 10 days and yet you only lose 2 or 3 lbs. Your weight loss is likely mostly fat loss but a 7 or 9lb loss is likely a lot of water weight.
    Remember Jeff Novick says 1 lb of fat loss represents an energy deficit of about 3500 calories. So in a week, a 2 lb fat loss would equal about a 1000 calorie deficit each day. That is a lot.
    If you lost 7 lb in 10 days, and it was all fat, that would represent a loss of 24,500 calories, which works out to a 2.450 calorie deficit per day. Short of very extreme exercise, you can see why that amount of fat loss is impossible.
    Losing excess water weight is a good thing too. But if you don’t have excess water weight, your loss on the scale will realistically be about 3lbs or so max in 10 days.

    Most grains processed are high in calorie density, with the exception of whole grain pasta, which is less than 600cal/lb, and is allowed on the Maximum Weight Loss plan.

    I am a coffee drinker and need to drink something else. I buy bottled water because I can't have fluoride. I really don't like the taste of water. I will try the Teeccino coffee substitute. Thanks.

    My understanding is that the 2 hr post prandial blood sugar if 140 or less is normal. But in non diabetics right after eating, the blood sugar on a starch based is WAY higher than 140, and that is perfectly normal and not damaging.

    Gustavo, please share what Jeff Novick says about starvation mode. That is a myth. From Jeff Novick " In regard to metabolism, if you are overweight, you cannot cause your metabolism to decrease below a level needed to lose weight while you have extra weight/fat on you, and you cannot "lose more weight by eating more calories/food." This is a misunderstanding of the principles of metabolism that does not apply to overweight people trying to lose weight which is explained in the below posts.
    If someone was not losing weight and were eating only 800-1000 calories and they were told they are in starvation mode and needed to eat more to lose weight and/or kickstart their metabolism, what do you think would happen if instead they just stopped eating altogether?
    Would they go further into starvation mode and stay at the same weight or "gain" weight?
    People who are truly starving from an inadequate caloric intake, will continue to starve and lose weight until there is nothing left of them but skin and bones."
