- Hey you guys! Hopefully you all enjoy the video! We definitely enjoyed Iron Maiden, they absolutely crushed it! Juliet even got sentimental at the end! Their combination of the three guitars, bass, drums and amazing singer had us completely hooked! We couldn't have said it any better in this video, that we were definitely moved by their amazing performance! We had an amazing time recording this reaction and hopefully you enjoyed our reaction as much as we enjoyed reacting to the video! And as always, stay safe and stay tuned for upcoming reactions! Now you know why Iron Maiden is still a headliner across 4 decades. When you consider Bruce Dickinson is now 61 and survived throat cancer and still sings circles around other singers, it's impressive.

I travel all over the world, and I find Iron Maiden fans everywhere. Last time I was in Kathmandu, this past January, I heard the song featured here, played in a very popular and crowded nightclub.
Everytime I see a metalshow from Brazil, it is always through the roof. Love the Brazil energy!
I recommend Fear Of The Dark, it’s really good especially when they played it live in Rio

It's definitely not overrated, but, there are many other equally great Iron Maiden songs. The performance, alone, makes it great. The music and lyrics are very creative, as well.
Although, I was thinking about suggesting "Afraid To Shoot Strangers", instead, only to show another great being from that album, and hope that they would build up to "Fear of The Dark".

I've been a Maiden fan for over 38 years, yes I'm old, and yes so is Iron Maiden LOL 😄😄😄 This song originally came out in '82, and it's still as awesome now, as it was back then . To put it in perspective, when this song came out, they were all in their early 20's, now they're in their early to mid 60's, but they are still touring, and they still sound fantastic. Iron Maiden are Metal Royalty, they are one of the best Metal bands to ever walk this Earth. Keep on rockin girls, and as us Maiden fans always say, Up the Irons!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

I'm getting teary eyed over here, myself. I discovered Maiden in 1980, at the age of 15, but couldn't find an album until well into 1981. I indoctrinated my friend Brian soon after he made fun of their name in '81. He became hooked soon after hearing them that night, and people started calling him "Brian Maiden", and lesser so "Iron Brian". We saw them many times together. I have seen them many times with others, due to him committing suicide a few years back. I saw these guys last summer(2019), and got choked up with this, and other songs. They are as amazing in concert now as they were back in the 80s! 🎶🤘💖

Bruce still sounds good but you can still hear his vocals have deteriorated a bit over the years (as would happen to any singer). Still one of my favorite bands of all time.
I am a 59-year-old ex metal singer and I have been an avid Maiden fan since I first heard them in 1979, when I was 16. I was pleased to find I can still match Bruce on the held notes of "running low" and "yeah", but I don't think I would be able to do do so if I hadn't dropped my 40-a-day cigarette habit nearly 20 years ago. But I am in awe of the gruelling performing schedule these guys still follow, and I think Bruce is holding on amazingly well. Look at Elton John - he has to drop the keys of most of his most iconic songs. Billy Joel has someone on stage to sing the high notes for him. Robert Plant is just about finished, and Rob Halford's pipes are beginning to fade a bit. Bruce is a legend.
Fear of the dark from this same concert. You will love it.
If you love this for sure you gonna love fear of the dark, aces high, the trooper, and run to the hills it will get you hyped. You can start with run to the hills first.
Early Iron Maiden too, with Paul Di’Anno. As great as Bruce Dickinson is, Iron Maiden was already great before he joined.

It's very surreal (and awesome) to see young fans discovering and getting into the very music I used to blast nonstop pretty much all through middle and high school over 35 years ago! I was 14 when this came out and probably made a lot of the same faces when I first heard it!
That was great. You warned about the pausing but you got lost in the sheer entertainment and enjoyment of the song which is the best reaction of all. Take that feeling and pass it on!
I cried of happiness too the first time I heard Iron Maiden in 1996, and cried some more when I found out that they had already been releasing records 15 years prior 1996 and still cried knowing that they have been releasing records 25 years after 1996 and still getting playing arenas. They are a phenomenon!

I am sure fans will be recommending their songs such as Rime of the ancient mariner, number of the beast, Seventh son of the seventh son, 2 mins to midnight. I’ve seen Iron Maiden 5 times. I’m 22 years old. I got into then because of my dad. They are the greatest band of all time. And the best performers of all time. They’ve been together since they were young in the 80’s. They make me happy lol. I can breath when I listen to them. The singer is a talented man. He fly’s their own private jet while touring. Please watch them live next time they come to your town. They will change your life!

This show was at Rock in Rio 2001. I was there. It was amazing! Then I watched them live other times and what I can say is: an Iron Maiden show is a unique experience. Highly recommended.

Iron Maiden reached their peak in the 1980's. And have been there since!
I first saw them via a concert in Poland shown on MTV in the late 80's. If I'm right, they were one of the very first rock bands to play in, what used to be the Iron Curtain. Two thumbs up Iron Maiden!

In my opinion, they are the greatest heavy metal band of all time.

This song came out in 1982. Just legendary. I heard it from the jump and still gives me chills. Imagine being THAT good, in front of THAT many people.
Iron Maiden has a lot of great songs and they are always incredible live. The first concert I went to was Iron Maiden (in 1984 at the age of 11) and I saw them again last fall and they still rock it as hard as ever.
As an East London geezer, Iron maiden came from our manor, and still a top band.

It's ok to cry, ladies. When I see young people hearing and feeling the same things I did as a boy 40 years ago, it literally moves me to tears as well. This is my favorite song of all time, you should read up on the lyrics to the song, it adds another layer of depth to the song. Still incredible after all these years.

You, Juliet, fully understand. I've seen Maiden live 16 times from 1983 to 2022, and they just get better every time. They ARE the premier metal band on the planet and one you must see in person, they are absolutely amazingly great. How's that go? 100 million albums sold with virtually no radio/tv play?
