Badass intro and music...loved it
thanks
your channel is great I'm a fan for-sure!
Thanks Edgar its comments like yours that keep me motivated
Just ordered my silicone cover, hopefully that solves my problems, Thank you for the tips and video!
Good luck!
Wow! Thanks a lot for this. I used to shy away from beanies cuz we'd scorch them and flatten them Just ran an order of Carhartt with faux leather patches thanks to this video well worth the $60 investment in a silicone pad and proper pressure. Thank you
If you need custom engraved leather or leatherette patches just reach out to me as we now offer that at great pricing
Thank u for the video great work.👍
No problem 👍
very helpful. I was using my hat press. I think this is way better. the pressure is key :)
a silicone mat help also
When adjusting the pressure on the press. You were dialing to 2. Would you say that is light pressure? My press only has a knob no kind of number gauge
yes that is light pressure, look into my latest heat press video on the transpro plus that might be something youll want to get asap it has a digital pressure readout system and is super affordable @@tinaharlow4508
Have you ever done beanies and leather patches using your 360iq hat press? I have the hat press but not the shirt press. A lot of people are asking me about beanies...if I can't use my hat press, I may have to sew them on the beanies. Thanks bud.
I have done beanies with the 360 IQ you still have to use the silcone mat to protect the beanie, me personally I get better results using a heat press with the silicone mat, as the 360 IQ can tend to leave a scorch box sometimes...practice makes perfect
thanks bro..SALUTE
thanks
Would the thin rubber pads I have for sublimation work the same as silicone, or is silicone better for this purpose?
silicone is better imo it absorbs heat better and evenly
Hey there, thanks for sharing your vid. Can I ask, are the beanies you're pressing acrylic? I've got an order for acrylic beanies to heat press and just making sure I dont commit to a product that will not be suitable for heat pressing.
Thanks!
Also, have you used teflon sheet instead of the silicone - would this be suitable or not thick enough to protect from scorching?
I would not use teflon it will scorch it
yes my beanies in this video are acrylic, but practice makes perfect make sure you adjust everything based on your equipment
I press my beanies on the hat press…so I have less material taking heat- no scorching
using the silicone mat you wont scorch any beanie at all, some hat presses will scorch beanie fibers and leave a press box but if its working for you then that's awesome
How do you get them to stay on during washing in the wash machine?
that sounds more like an adhesive issue
You need to prestretch your knits when you press so the knit doesn’t pucker when you wear it.
Thanks for the tip
Where do you buy the beanies my friend
these are from Decky direct wholesale
Caldwell's is non-responsive. Can you suggest another source for leather patches?
yes Me contact me on IG please
I'm using 100% Acrylic and 310 for the temp. However, my beanies are being crushed and flattened out like a pancake. How do I stop that? Should I lower the temp, and use little to no pressure for a longer period of time to stop the beanies from being crushed and ruined?
yes pressure if what flattens things like a pancake
I’ve tried hardly no pressure 325 for 40 sec. With silicone sheet . Still beanie is flat and stretched out….any ideas
what brand press are you using? lighter pressure
@@esentl hpn signature 16x24
Dialed all the way down to 3
I usually do 40 for t-shirts
@ESENTL It’s so low now the patch isn’t adhering
I do not like how they stretch and get flat....I've seen hats without that scenario....What am I doing wrong????
heat press pressure...lighten it up doesnt need to be as aggressive with beanies
