The only only reason I bought this brand and design coilovers was because of ECS instructional videos. I bought the 32 point CO, exceptional quality for the price.
We do not recommend running helper springs with these coilovers since they weren't designed to have them. It's common for MK5/6 VW's to rub when lowered past a certain point on coilovers. We suggest checking your tire size first and seeing where it's rubbing, as well as rolling your front fenders to help mitigate rubbing.
@@ecstuning I got em on my S4 with 19" rims. I wanna cut my fenders then add some flares but fiberglass it will take time which I don't have a lot of.. Ugh, guess I'll just roll em. I am glad I didn't waste money on helping springs though. Thank you
If they're still in good condition you can, but we HIGHLY recommend replacing them with an OE equivalent or upgrading them. Since they're already out it's the best time to do so
I installed these on my BMW f30 and they're awesome but the rears SO bumpy and it's not the damping. I think it's my preload/shock height ratio. The bump stop is almost always hitting the top where the damping adjuster is :(.

I had a 5spd mk5 rabbit once 👍🤙
Mk6 gti now :]
I wish they would do Jetta stuff, too!
Oh, and I’m a loyal FCP EURO customer too💪🏼

Does this coilover needed cancellation kit for avoid dash lamp issues?
I adjusted my dampening to full stiffness, but I still hit the fenders on bumps. Would helper springs be next step to prevent this?

Can I use previous front strut mounts with the new coil over?

Try f80 bump stops they are shorter so the shock has more room to travel before hitting the bump stop
I was thinking, I hope they don't get stuck on the lift. :)
Is this the same process on e9x platform?
Can the stock coilover be adjusted?
Stock shocks and springs unfortunately cannot be adjusted
ecs coil-over was installed in Korea 🇰🇷
