Bell Gargoyles Turning Up the HEAT! | Lets Play Dark Souls [Part 8]

Never played Dark Souls, never played a Souls-Like, but I've heard from many of you that they are amazing! So I guess it's time for me to put my big-boy pants on and give one of these a try. Things I've been told to expect:

Those summons you saw when unhollowed, were summons that let you bring in other players/NPC's to help join you fight.

If you are human you can summon a NPC to help you with the Gargoyles, Praise the Sun

So the elevator connects back to your first area after the Asylum! Near the Firelink shrine if you find her, is the 'Fire Keeper', which you use the "Fire Keeper Soul" on to upgrade your estus flask making it so that they heal more permanently! Definitely feel like you could use this information as who knows how long itd be until you found her and the Estus upgrades are essential, this games tough!

I’ve never seen such a unique play through especially on this game nor have I seen someone go through it so thoroughly and without even minding a single death, excited to see you overcome the way later bosses too!

NO WAY! I don’t remember the name of them, but that little crab guy that dropped the twin humanity is actually from another players world! If someone drops a powerful item, or dies with a lot of humanity or souls, and then never picks it up, there’s a chance one of those guys will spawn in its location. That’s super rare, and super awesome! I’ve played for about 300 hours and only ever seen 2!

If you ever have lots of souls in a tough boss fight and you want to spend them you could always try to use a homeward bone to take you to last bonfire if you have one of those, that would allow you to grab your souls and leave the boss fight before you lose them, you just want to make sure you are a safe distance before trying to use one.

Highly recommend revisiting firelink shrine and exploring the cemetery.

It has to be noted how well you have adapted to this game. I'm really impressed. Most content creators play the game with the goal of "let's get trough it". But you have more of a "let's understand it" approach and that's seems to of helped you massively.

Definitely do NOT consume the fire keeper soul. You can use it to upgrade your flasks strength

Nice video. The gargoyles are quite cool and difficult. I wouldn’t bother upgrading armour, level hp instead. DON’T USE THE FIREKEEPER SOUL! Give it to a fire keeper, maybe you already know of a firekeeper in firelink?

A general rule of thumb that will save you much bother: try to spend your souls before a boss encounter.

Your soul/humanity splat appears where your character was 10 seconds before they died. It also has to be on solid ground, no elevators or other moving things.
