Yeah, from what I can tell it is usually because of rounded shoulders or bad posture. Work on pain relief while resting for 1-2 days, after that we can work on strengthening.

Played basketball last february. I blocked the attacker going to cross to my left with my right arm. I felt a pain in the shoulder during the collision with his arms. Thought it'll go away. Till now it still hurts whenever i sleep lying down with my shoulder or when i raise my arms. Can't see a doctor cause of how we dont have money for that. Btw im from the Philippines so seeing a doctor is like whenever you have got to see one. If it is still bearable then suck it up and move on. Unless its about life or death, we aint seeing no doctor here yet. -.-

@@universaldesign4295 don't do any exercise that involves shoulders for 5-10 days, depending upon the pain. Apply ice where the pain is occurring

a resistance band is like $10
Substitute kettle bell with bottles of water or bag of rice
Use a empty bottle of water, fill it with sand and water, You don't need a kettle bell
