I had a seizure from a brain tumor. Two days later, I ended up having brain surgery to remove. I recovered from that, but I ended up having significant pain in both shoulders I'm presuming that was caused by the seizure. After going through physical therapy with little improvement, I was ready to have shoulder impingement surgery as a last resort. While googling videos about the surgery I stumbled on your videos and tried them out. You guys were a godsend! NO SURGERY REQUIRED! Thank you!

After suffering for over a year with pain in the shoulder pain I decided to watch this video. After trying the first exercise for a few reps I could raise my arm up with absolutely no pain. Unbelievable! 😊 Thank s gentleman.

Thank you so much, in March I had a roller skating accident and injured my rotary cuff. My first mistake was going to a care center clinic, they wanted to give me medication for pain & if that didn't work, the injections was next. Then gave me a piece of paper for exercise to do, I had no clue what the paper instructed. I never got any physical therapy, no arm swing or how to sleep during the night. Thankfully I did my own research, and found youtube doctors like you guys. I also use a ice compression and arm exercises, it starting to feel so much better.
Thanks you guys! No gym during Covid, no problem! Exactly what will keep me happy and moving in confined apartment lock-down. Keep up the good work!

About a year ago, I started having pain in my left shoulder. Being in my mid-50's, it looked like I was going to have to give up exercising with gymnastic rings for good. First ring dips were too painful, then ring pushups, then even the static support hold. I could still do the "pull" exercises like body rows and inverted pull-ups, but that was about it. After a couple months of hanging several times per day for 30 seconds, range-of-motion increased and pain subsided to the point where I could once again start working with the rings. The numbers of reps had obviously dropped from where they were a year earlier, but they have been steadily increasing and three months after starting to hang, I'm just about back to my previous level of fitness. I can't say enough about this method and will continue to follow it from now on, so as to maintain shoulder health and mobility.
Well, Bob and Brad, your fame has reached as far as the UK. I recently viewed this RUclips video and decided to see if your advice has merit. After just over a week using the exercises I have to tell you how grateful I am for tuning in. My shoulders feel a whole lot better, and I will certainly continue with the treatment to keep the pain away.. Many thanks - keep up the good work!!

these guys are so awesome. I like that they are very different in style of presenting or instructing, but they combine to cover all the angles and are extremely complementary. Also, they jump right into each exercise and the purpose for each, without first explaining all about anatomy and theory before getting to the meat of the solution. I like that. I hat watching a 5 minute video, to get what I learn from these two in 30 seconds. They also blanket the topic with lots of alternatives, because everyone has pain, but in different ways. They are very thoughtful to give you choices to allow each person to find solutions while avoiding unneccessary pain. Awesome.

4:05 I sort of do that when doing bent over rowing with dumbbells. Great way to strengthen the back muscles and fix your posture. I also do 5:19. Yes I have a bad rotator cuff in my right shoulder. I also do ghe belt and hanging bar thing.
What also works is unscrew a wooden broom stick and while standing with both arms in front bend at 90* as if you have ski poles, place one end of the pole in the palm of the hand of the bad shoulder and with the other hand push the pole towards the open palm as far as you can go and hold for a 5 sec and repeat.
Another is if you have a weight or those rubber molded dumbbells my wife uses, lay on your side with the bad shoulder facing up, then with your arm in a natural bend position with your fingers touching the ground, grab the dumbbell and rotate it using only your lower arm without lifting the shoulder.
I developed pain in my left shoulder. I thought " well it's part of getting older ". When my right shoulder started hurting. I was sure of it. But watching and doing just the shoulder squeeze . The pain disappeared. Thank you, thank you Bob and Brad 🙂

Nicely done gents. I've been working out and the shoulder pain limits my ability to lift heavy. Dumbell shoulder press limited to 40lbs each arm used to be 50 to 60 lbs. I do stretch and these will help greatly.

Hey guys. Thanks for the video. I've also found that rowing exercises have helped my shoulder pain. I'll get pain going down my bicep but doing one arm rows or seated rows helps to alleviate the pain.

I have had neck pain all my life. Learned the chin tuck and some other exercises from y’all. Thing is to prevent my neck pain I have to sleep on my left side. Now I have had a horrible pain in my left shoulder. This video explained it perfectly and I already have some upwards motion back in my left arm after only 2 days of exercise. Thanks for the help!

I’ve been suffering from right shoulder pain for about 2 years I’ve gotten shots and no relief I did the first demonstration you did in this video for about 10 minutes I can’t tell you how much it helped I’m not in extreme pain anymore.
