      Doc!! Thank you!!
      I played a 9 hole round of golf yesterday & then a large bucket at the range to prepare for todays club tournament. I slept horribly with neck pain & woke up worse. I turned RUclips on, after my meditation, & there you were!!! Like an answered prayer 🙏🏽. I did all the exercises for the required reps & now I feel like I’m ready for my round. Wow!!!!
      I’m going to do them after the round & save this video to my notes to use as needed. Thank you so much for your expertise & service.
      Best neck discomfort video to date on RUclips. Bravo!!

      Hello, do you have a video for the nerve that runs from the neck, through the front of the shoulder, and all the way to the pointer and middle finger? Or is that this video as well?

      My gosh man, I've been dealing with this pinch nerve in my shoulder and neck for over 2 weeks. Exercising I thought would give me relief, right along with taking Aleve to no avail. I came across this on my feed. SWEET BABY JESUS! I did the exercises in this video and the pain is finally gone away. Thank you, so much. My fellow Michigander.🙏🏽❤️✌🏾🕉

    Doc, I'm crying right now because this exercise caused me to discover a knot that I after a while of massaging around has lessened and almost taken away a shoot pain that I've been having from what the docs think is a bulging disc. This small knowledge has caused such a profound difference in my life I'm just so thankful

    • @Ppeshku
      @Ppeshku 8 месяцев назад +11

      We are all here because of a bulging disc. I have two bulging discs in my neck, one in the middle of the neck and the other is at the base of the neck next to my shoulder. A car hit me so I didn't have a choice developing them. Pinched nerve is additional bonus.

    • @mommyof418
      @mommyof418 5 месяцев назад +3

      I’m sorry, are you implying some of us chose to have bulging disks after telling someone we are all here for bulging disks?
      I feel like the pinched nerves are a given with bulging disks; that’s why we have so much pain.

    • @NelehLove9313

      Hi... im here for the bulging disc club? I've had bulging discs now for 5 or 6 years, and it's a lot like flare-ups. I notice that if I do extensive work and don't stretch beforehand, they begin to flare up. Also, not having neck muscles before straining it does not help. All of which are my issue, sadly... I never follow my own advice..

    I subscribed a couple months ago. I'm 64 and was a heavy construction carpenter for 40 years. Had radial neuropathy in my right arm a few years back and my hand went dead. I got through that and recently my left has been shooting electric all the way down. I have carpal tunnel REALLY bad but am reluctant to have the surgery. These particular exercises are amazing. The most amazing thing though, IMHO, is that there are people like this that take the time out of their life to do these videos to help other people. Shows me there are still some good souls left in this terrible reality. I am humbled and very thankful for your help. It works.

      Having surgery to correct my carpal tunnel syndrome on my right hand was the best decision I ever made. I'm about to have to do it soon on my left hand as well, and I'm not hesitant to do so at all. Just waiting on it to get severe enough for insurance to pay for it. I am normally a holistic minded person too, but I couldn't live with that unbearable pain any longer. For me, it was definitely the only option. If you do have surgery, the sooner, the better. Recovery is nothing.

      Same happened to me. The found this guys videos. He is a legend and great man helping people this way. I walk an hour a day and I am active but the last almost 2 weeks have been miserable. I got a new cervical Pillow which helped tension and these exercises combined with that bit of knowledge to stop and back off when your range of motion in the exercises is causing any pain, made these moves start to work for me. It came up in other channels and no one said that. So I tried pushing as much as I could thinking I had to suffer a bit to feel better. Ended up even worse. For the first time in days and sleepless nights, some relief. Merry Christmas, hope you are doing well.

    Woke up this morning with worst pinched nerve I have ever had, previously I have only had mild ones that could be considered uncomfortable or annoying. This one literally had me crying; radiating pain/muscle spasms/hot and cold sensation. While I don't think I would have been able to do the exercises right after getting the pinched nerve (I could barely think). I did it this evening, and not only can I now turn my head, which had been seized up all day, but it provided major relief! It's not 100 percent better, but I'm much more comfortable. I'm also hoping I'll recover faster. I'll continue these exercises!

      @@gabitsu-ftw3871 sad to hear you’re also going through this. I wouldn’t overfocus on this, it fights symptoms, not causes. Also, it might be caused by something else in your case. Aside from these exercises, I did additional stuff which have made the exercises less necessary. For instance: my dentist noticed that I clench my jaw a lot and grate my teeth as a consequence. This can also cause or exacerbate headaches, even unilateral ones. I now have a sleeping retainer to stop me from grating my teeth in my sleep. Also: relaxation, stretches and core exercises may be your friend to take stress of your shoulders. I also use focus techniques, such as are learned in aikido. I was always carrying the world on my shoulders and as soon as I started practicing shifting my awareness from my head to my belly and pelvis, I learned to relax my shoulders and neck much more. Hope this helps, friend! Be well and kind to yourself. And remember, sometimes doing less and being kind to yourself for it can help more than blaming yourself for not doing enough. Big hugs and good vibes from my end of the galaxy.
