Another scary thing about Nightmare Pain is the opponent takes the battle damage first before Yubel's burn effect proc, which means this card can make the Yubels (the ones with burn effect of course) deal double damage in the opponent's turn :D

@@Yomi2012 depends on the iteration, we changed it over here cuz it's weird to have 2 young boys like eachother in a children's show. Works better as a female originally as well, but design-wise, the clashing masculine and feminine halves are great. Would make sense lore-wise if the reason for it was the dub and sub version of the character merging
@@Yomi2012 Nope. Was a girl, turned androgynous by giving her the Dragon Heart.
Nightmare pain effect is important because it return battle damage but the fusion boss monster inflicts it. -> So you basically deal double damage of opp. monster.
Well, on a brighter note, this means that Neos Wiseman is now searchable thanks to Nightmare Pain, as Neos Wiseman mentions Yubel in its text
true, but isnt neos wiseman better summoned through kluger's floating effect anyway ? Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing a neos / yubel hybrid deck :)

@@Necros554 I wouldn't say it's better, but it is easier. And you technically still could do it that way, but these new cards allow you to bypass that extra step if you need to

2 things
1-Neos Klugger and fusion deployment can summon Yubel
2- Elemental Hero Infernal Rage can search a Favorite card like eternal favorite,Xtra hero infernal devicer can add Neos and Yubel to Poly fuse into Klugger

Elemental Hero Prisma can also change his name to Yubel.
You can also run a small sacred beast engine. The level 2 searcher can let you normal the Lotus retrain since it's a 0 ATK fiend, and the spell searcher can revive it from GY for some extension. After all, yubel did use the sacred beasts in the anime and the new support has continuous spell/traps

Nightmare Pain is a 'Signature Move Spell Card'. In the anime, Nightmare Pain was the name of Yubel's Effect.
0:58 I think that Yubel in the artwork, is from the previous life, right after she decided and became Jaden(Juudai)'s bodyguard (lover, stalker, yandere wife, Makima... whatever). Then, Jaden has reincarnated at the timeline we know in the anime.
I was about to say that
Eternal favorite is probably meant to be played in Jaden's deck since it is searchable with Infernal Rage, also the artwork shows both Jaden and Yubel hugging.
I'm from germany and the name of the yubel fusion monster means:
"The Guardian of eternal love"
loosely translated
But when i translated it, it was called: The Eternal Love Guardian

Yubel was a Guardian that protected Jaden in his past life. Nightmare Pain was the name of Yubel's Damage Reflection effect.

Ok. Golem + Yubel. 2 Counters. Lotus gets you another Yubel. 3. You can then pop Yubel via Nature to get Terror, 4. And since Fire King Island still works for Yubel. 5 counters

Do keep in mind thet Yubel also used the Sacred Beasts and the SD that was released does have the engine work with Yubel as it should.
I think the combo is with nightmare pain to pop the yubel monsters to summon their evolution to gain the counters for mature chronicle. Then, eternal favorite let’s you summon the yubel monsters from the Gy looping the yubel evolutions over and over again.
If yubel can get cards like these I would like to see support for Assault Mode, Bujin, Burning Abyss, Crusadia, Cyber Dragon, End Of The World, Fabled, Fleur, Gaia The Fierce Knight, Gouki, Gravekeeper, Gusto, Starry Night, Infernity, Karakuri, Laval, Lightsworn, Mermail, Noble Knight, Raidraptor, Red-Eyes, Six Samurai, Souten, Star Warriors, U.A., Vylon, World Chalice, Yang Zing, and/or Zefra
"Yubel - The Eternal Guardian of Love" Sounds like a cool Name for the Fusion
Supreme King isn’t evil Jaden/Judai per se, but more of him being controlled by his Gentle Darkness.

Btw the German name roughly translates to "The Eternal Loving Guardian" which makes perfect sense considering the backstory
I thought that Yubel was either Atleantean or from the time period before Dartz came along. Since duel spirits and the duel spirit world was a concept invented in the DOMA arc.

About time.Yubel was the GX dub version of a yandere girl.
