Making an anime about the card lores independent from the game will make yugioh's audience bigger.
Would be nice if konami would explore that route in a similar way to riot games. All the league trailers for the new season, worlds, zhe runeterra lorestuff ect is bringing so much life into the game
They keep making yugioh anime oriented to little kids since it's the easiest demographic to sell the products, yet the more adult demographic would be drawn way more with an anime following the albaz lore, for example. "You liked the story? We present you this product containing all the actual cards of the story so you can recreate the story in your games!". Even if they don't go for the actual IRL game, they could also push Master Duel's playerbase

Nothing in Zeus is remotely relastic. Even in an advance future Zeus machine is impossible to look as it is nor behave maneuvers wise as it did. Not to mention the G forces woukd kill the pliot if there is one inside. The movement way too quick reactively.
Not to mention it needs to use an antimatter and fusion cold reactors in a form of acceleraters with a solar engine technology for those Zeus machine engines to work. The unite nedds protection and shields. The wings and jet engine way too exposed. It is a very bad design. It has alot if thin parts. That compromise it is structural integrity especially if it fights in an atmospheric environment against wind resistance.
Taphun werid energy tantical thing cannot happen and in one option it can be done mskes it too weak and useless basically. Completely unrealistic.
Lecturely Tau technology from WH40K is way more realistic than Zeus design.

Mobile suites are basically a tank and a jet fussed together but in a creative realistic effective way that it also makes it a better tank and a better jet than tanks and jets.
The only downside is it consume way more fuel than a jet moving like an arrow and lighter would use for the same mission.

There's over 300 different archetypes in the game. There is absolutely no reason to keep retreading and recycling the Duel Monsters story for another 25 years.
I can't believe people where asking for a remake of dm, like first of all dawg it's not one piece where the first chunk kinda NEEDS some help, this is an anime of people standing around playing cards that mostly don't move and second, they have so much stuff to draw from and you want them to do the same thing they already did?
Fr. Out of everything anyone could want for a 25th Anniversary, even after getting a demo reel of different animation styles suited for each YGO monster lore we just saw, they ask for a damn DM anime remake.... How about a main focus on the YGO monster lore like what we've just seen? I'd rather have that than more DM crap. It's heavy with so much lore from different archetypes, so much story to be explored, to keep us entertained for many, many years to come.

It's definitely possible to bordering on likely that we'll start seeing anime based off the Yugioh Card Lore. After all, OCG Stories recently concluded Sky Striker and are now on Magistus, both archetypes that are represented in the chronology. They could easily adapt the Sky Striker manga into an OVA and literally the entire Yugioh community would cheer

I haven’t watched any yugioh anime since battle city, but I would 100% watch an anime about the lore. There are so many archetypes and so much potential that it just makes sense to do this, especially since anime has become more popular over the years.
I agree with you, they could make the characters who are playing the card game in the anime narrate the lore of the cards! It would be such a dope way to have well know protagonists still in the show but they are telling stories.

I wouldn't say it's a confirmation but like if they announced their own animation studio it must mean that they will either start producing their anime about people playing the game in house and they're ending their contract with whoever does rush and or the main series' or they will do something new
Honestly, I wouldnt mind a War Rock anime. I know, I know. WR sucks. But the lore depicted and implicated through its art is pretty drama heavy. Their clan clashes with the fire beast of War Rock Mountain. Fortia losing his friends. Becoming corrupted or empowered by fire. Then the whatever conflict that led up to Meteoragon clashing with Bashileos in Generations.

The only concern I have is that the studio will just take over for the card game anime. They've already said the studio will produce anime based on Konami properties & YGO is the biggest IP they have by a mile; plus this teaser already shows their thoughts on whether the lore of the duel monsters spirit world is worth an anime. They don't even need to quit the card game anime, they can continue licensing Rush Duel sequels or a DM reboot (as some have theorized) to studios like Bridge or Gallop while focusing on their own shit.
Other IPs they might dip into, MGS seems an obvious choice, enough that I have no doubt they'll do a Metal Gear anime sooner or later, but what else? Silent Hill? I mean, I'd love a Silent Hill horror anime, but Konami won't even give the Silent Hill fans a GAME, I doubt they would want to kick off their entrance into the anime industry with a horror. Can't really think of any other property we'd see, at least soon. Contra I sincerely doubt, Castlevania has JUST been licensed out & adapted, Goemon has had an anime before so that could get rebooted but it wouldn't appeal to an international audience as well (just a matter if Konami cares about that). Zone of Enders is another potential candidate for a mecha anime. Of course, they could always tie-in their other franchises with YGO's spirit world lore if they wanted, i.e. ZEUS & Typhon IN Zone of Enders or Spyrals IN Metal Gear, but that would be messy.

Even before the manga, the card art for scissors cross, as well as how Roze functions (opposite of Raye, she appears when opponent extra zone (presumably opponent sky striker) monster leaves field, all suggest the fact that they're rivals.
Maybe next time, Konami will include Buster Blader, as well as new support for the game.
Making an anime about the card lore is surely the move, I would get Magistus cards just as anime merch even if they suck.

Zeus is also too big for a mobile suite or a Gundam. He is as big as mobile armor.
Nothing in Zeus is remotely relastic. Even in an advance future Zeus machine is impossible to look as it is nor behave maneuvers wise as it did. Not to mention the G forces woukd kill the pliot if there is one inside. The movement way too quick reactively.
Not to mention it needs to use an antimatter and fusion cold reactors in a form of acceleraters with a solar engine technology for those Zeus machine engines to work. The unite nedds protection and shields. The wings and jet engine way too exposed. It is a very bad design. It has alot if thin parts. That compromise it is structural integrity especially if it fights in an atmospheric environment against wind resistance.
Taphun werid energy tantical thing cannot happen and in one option it can be done mskes it too weak and useless basically. Completely unrealistic.
Lecturely Tau technology from WH40K is way more realistic than Zeus design.
Not many know but Gundam is about being relastic and real partical. It is also bout politics and history, human nature, society as well economics as well tactics and professionalism.
The show is very relastic. Especially from Gundam Wing and above. There is only few odd anomalies and one show IBO is an exception with a resone.
For example Gundam are not gaint mecha because they are not gaint. Many jets todday have a length much greater than the avg mobile suite height. The difference is height vs length. For example avg mobile suite is 15m tall where F22 is 19m long. The other difference is mobile suites are thick and don't care about air resistant. So they seem bigger because they are heavier but they don't house the same space infact less space than a modern jet. Mobile suites are basically a tank and a jet fussed together but in a creative realistic effective way that it also makes it a better tank and a better jet than tanks and jets.
The only downside is it consume way more fuel than a jet moving like an arrow and lighter would use for the same mission.
Gundam is half of mecha and it is a spreat thing at sametime.
They will NEVER EVER do an lore anime. It is just unrealistic for Konami to do something cool for the fans that is actually appropriate adult content.

What kid wouldn't also want to watch a fun commercial which is a majority of anime. Like the Transformers cartoon/anime was ads for the toys. Same with Gundam is ads for the Gunpla.

It only shows off animation skills but doesn't actually present any thing that resembles a story worth watching. Saying that this isthe trailer for anime series is a bit far-fetched, since we barely saw any hints of stories here.
These snippets are rather reminiscent of Master Duel's Solo Mode.
I sympathise with the chills you got but so far it's honestly rather cringe.
It's vain, an empty animation designed only to trigger our impulses to bat-chest at the mere sight of it (impulses that are also driven by the social dynamics of online spaces where everything feels kind of unreal already and where it only takes a few to start bat-chesting to start a hype train), a video void of anything meaningful to which one could even remotely relate.
It's the lowest and least sensible kind of entertainment that doesn't actually entertain your mind but lets you turn it off, invites you to turn it off.
You could never catch me watching anime, I feel it a waste of time to spend so much time watching so many episodes.

Same can be said for TV shows in general then. Not all animes are super long btw some animes like Trigun have only 26 episodes each only 24 minutes long. I can name tons of TV shows and series longer than that.
You gotta sort through the filler then it becomes a lot better binging. Issue is it’s hard to do that first time around without spoiling yourself
