I would actually watch a series dedicated to the lore within the card art. They already have an incredible amount of material to work with, this is a perfect opportunity for a cash cow that would actually make the fans happy.

Zefra lore would be insane as an anime. It combines so many archetypes. Yang Zing, Nekroz, Shaddolls, Satellar knights, ritual beasts, oracle of zefra stemming from Naturia tree. Also, can't believe they didnt include the Pendulum Magicians
That would be fine to introduce each archetype, but if Konami wanted to be really ambitious, they would make crossovers in which two or more archetypes met each other, had rivalries, or fought a common enemy.
At the end of the video it shows a credit for Konami Animation studio so this is probably just like a film reel of what they are working on or potentially plan to work on. Hopefully they deep dive with an episode or two of each (maybe more for others like Albaz or World Legacy) and extend on stuff. There are so many cool, silly and downright brutal stories they can tell from card art alone. I love this game man.

When the Melffys cutting into Zeus is a joke where players use Melffy before going into Zeus. Its has many fanarts like Melffy starting at Zeus or the Melffys playing on Zeus.
i would love an anime that has nothing to do with dueling but literally just telling the stories of the cards. like World Chalice and Dogmatika lore stories. They technically created an entire MMORPG throughout their archetypes. City of Endymion ect.

Basically they want to introduce their animation studios, and most likely they will release sky striker anime because of its manga is out there already. But at the same times, i feel the quality is not the same as many before it.
As odd as yugioh has been for me over the years the lore was always a highlight of the experience. It is not just archetypes but even one off cards that have great backstories that really makes me happy to play the game even tho I am not exactly good at it.
Some archetypes are too deep to cover in short form videos so the pokemon method might not be as effective although some archetypes can be broken into “releases” and going that route literally gives Konami the opportunity to infinitely release archetype support and new anime episodes 👌
I assume what it may end up being is a season of one shots +/- a series or ova with sky striker. They displayed 12 archetypes + strikers if I counted correctly, and 12 episodes is a typical cour or season length for anime. Granted, they wouldn't be able to cover much of albaz or duel terminal, and a lot of these would probably work better as an ova or full series, but an inital episode may be lower risk if they are gaging interest and market viability.
I do agree I would like this type of yugioh anime instead of the current yugioh anime we have been getting honestly the current yugioh animes were starting to get old after zexal Or even a video game that goes over lore or something would also be good but honestly lost interest in the card game itself for now

So Skystriker has a manga, I think, so maybe that one has the most potential for an anime. But as for the others, I don't think there is enough content for a series. It would probably be a short story style where they give an archetype an episode or two.
Surprised they just aren’t releasing an anime where the main character summons 10 plus times in a turn to reflect the current game of yugioh but the chronicles work too :)
If they decide to do full seasons to follow the lore of some cards, you would have people invested if the story is solid. What they should do is if they make anime seasons is do lore exclusive formats in tournaments for the story being told at the time. Players play decks native to the lore being animated and see which pieces are able to come out on top. Would be a good way to get people interested in old cards, and learning the history of the game at the same time.
If konami ever makes another yugioh anime, it should not create another protagonist and just take every archetype and lore it made, have every episode tell the players their story or few a episodes depending how big each archetype lore is and basically entice the viewers to actually learn about each archetype and attract them to play the game.

Basically they want to introduce their animation studios, and most likely they will release sky striker anime because of its manga is out there already. But at the same times, i feel the quality is not the same as many before it.
I bet the ending implies at least Skystrikers will be animated seeing it was at the very end (like what they do with after credits in a Marvel movie).
Maybe next time, Konami will include Buster Blader, as well as new support for the game.

Yu-Gi-Oh the Chronicles is pretty much based on the monsters, story and Outlook of how they became to be in the card game.
Konami can do like Warhammer+. One or two episodes covering a lore, and a series for those bigger lores.
