Correction, this article confirms that this is simply a demo reel showcasing that Konami now have a animation studio... but we can still hope we get more series like this that were shown! ygorganization.com/yesthisproritisedstaringdeeplyintoeyes/
However, that doesn't mean it is off the table. If you look at the manga for sky strikers "OCG stories" how they go into the card and references being very similar to the animation. Might hint into something. Konami has been known to keep their projects very under cover until it's practically finished. It would be a marketing oopsie if they show this off and not at least give some sort of mini-series to really spark interest in the TCG again, especially after they came out saying the card game in the west wasn't selling what they projected.
Slight correction. This isn't a new series but rather just Konami basically saying "Hey. We got our own Animation studio now. Heres something to celebrate it"
Thank you for confirming this, I've now updated the pinned comment with a article backing up what you said. Well if this is the kind of animation we can expect from Konami now then I am very hyped for whatever future series they plan to work on :)
So the Fallen of Albaz is central character of the most recently completed lore series in yugioh card art, with two main storyline’s continuing, Visas Starfrost (a man visiting various planets to recover his emotions) and Diabellstar (very new, all we really know is she is currently seeking “Sinful Spoils” and has a wanted poster because of it). Fallen of Albaz covers the story of a dragon that was struck out of the sky, fell to the earth, turned into a boy, found by a girl in a religious order, and the chaotic events that arise from their friendship. Fallen of Albaz lore covers the following archetypes: Branded, Tri-Brigade, Dogmatika, Springan, Therion, Spright, Swordsoul, Icejade, Despia, and Bystial.
Melffies, Six Samurai, and Zeus definitely had the most striking art styles out of everything here imo. The soft pastel colors of the adorable Melffies, like out of a story book. The fast and over the top CGI of Zeus, looking straight out of Gundam. And the smooth line art and colorful effects of the Legendary Six and Shien, reminds me of Demon Slayer. This animation showcase overall was a treat for the eyes.
Surprise dont know about albaz even with master duel considering how stupidly popular it is but Fallen of albaz is definitely in a western fantasy setting and it’s bascially the 3rd major storyline after the original terminal world/duel terminal and its successor world chalice The premise is crusader girl meets dragon boy, ecclesia is a saint for the national holy dogmatika religion the governing organization who protects their followers against the abyss; a mysterious force that opens up portals or ‘holes’ across the continent depositing evil creatures from another land but one day a hole opened up above the capital and deposited a rampaging dragon onto the city who during confrontation devolved back into a young man and then ecclesia’s own choice to go against military orders to execute him resulted in her defection from the religion and setting into motion her journey with albaz (the young man) across the land trying to uncover the truth behind everything; who the dogmatika religion really are, what is the abyss and who exactly is albaz The kicker is that while this storyline is technically finished its not actually over yet and is speculated for a continuation considering almost everyone is still alive (rip icejade race, the species is now down to just 1 individual) and the mastermind behind everything is still very much at large The exact scene at the end of fallen of albaz portion of this trailer is taken directly from the card dogmatika encounter too
Seriously, I was so hyped and very happy when I watched the animations. Seeing Dark Magician, Girl, Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes in modern animation was a good feeling. Then from the adorable Mellfy, to mecha-esque Zeus and T-Phon, to the fight between Enishi and Kizan. And especially Albaz and Ecclesia, since their lores are among the ones who I like the most. I hope if they make more like this in the future, they will make HEROes (Shining Neos Wingman), Gladiator Beasts, Starry Night (Seiryaryu), Nouvelles (Hungry Burger), and Voiceless Voice (Skull Guardian). Oh, and since there is an Exodia teaser among the animations shown, I hope it will be connected to the new Exodia stuff introduced in the upcoming pack. Millenium Golem, Sengenjin etc.
The two that might really have an anime is Sky Striker that has a manga and Fallen of Albaz storyline that has one of the largest storys arcs with multiple archetypes involved.
@@ScionStorm1so officially we got sky striker and magistus ocg manga, right? Last week I finished reading sky striker manga, i didn't know they continued with magistus
I REALLY want to see a special for Magikey and for Magikey to get more support, this archtype is full of potential to get into other worlds as it's inspired by Kingdom Hearts in it's creation!
Man I’m a true a sucker for Blue-Eyes that the place maiden and azure eyes are at is the card dragon shrine, and honestly I WOULD LOVE to see an anime about the lore with the eyes of blue monsters and they’re connection to the Blue-Eyes White Dragon!!
I love this animation so much because you can take literally any YuGiOh fan, from a dude who only played with Dark Magician in the playground to a modern yugioh player who started with Master Duel and there is a damn good chance both of them will be hype about something in this showcase. For me, I went from playground yugioh and E-Heores into Edison and Providence format and Six Samurais so the Ice Barriers, Six Sams and Charmers made me so damn happy. Even if your pet deck archetype didn't get in there's so much to love about this, it's great. Konami W. Rare Konami W, but a W nontheless.
Fallen of Albaz's lore is the second biggest lore in the trailer (second only to Duel Terminal lore's which the Ice Barriers are a part of). I would love to see SPYRAL lore be animated.
Welcome fellow Critter, here we are fans of all franchises and welcome everyone! Fun fact, I started this channel because I got into Critical Role back in 2021 and wanted to talk about the Vox Machina cartoon online :)
@@LynkCableTvamazing! I’m coming more from the Dimension 20 sphere and have interviewed Brennan Lee Mulligan and Aabria Iyengar for various seasons of the show on my podcast Geek Peek :)
The Albaz Storyline encompasses multiple Archetypes. The Archetypes related to it are Dogmatika, Tri-Brigade, Springans, Sword Soul, Despia, Ice Jade, Therion, Spright and Bystial. I recommend checking out Lore Summaries since the Story is rather good. Edit : I initially forgot to put in Spright
There are so many chronicles that could be done in yugioh but the ones i would love the most are The world chalice lore, buster blader and his whelp one and the qliphorts lore
Honestly, I think it’s more of a negative to constantly pander to the old fans. Pokémon & Yugioh are guilty of this. For every new set or thing we get, we get 5 Yugi, Joey, Kaiba or Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise or Lucario pander sets/forms. Like, we STILL haven’t gotten Rush duels in the west even though people LOVED the video game of it. Yugioh’s gotten so complicated that Rush Duels are a breath of fresh air. It would also be cool to see more Zexal or Arc-V sets of cards that were anime or manga exclusive. Or just more support for archetypes from that era.
I would like konami make archetypes anime like magikey and time thief and gladiator beast and ninja and kaiju and elemental lord and noble knights and zoodiac
I will have to for sure, especially after seeing the passion in these comments for Albaz and how widespread it seems to be within the archetypes of Yugioh
I hope, if they do, they would make a new Archetype just for them, the Villain Archetype(or at least make more support for Evil Heroes, but making an Archetype to face against Heroes is cooler).

Nah we getting a striker anime they didn't put it with the rest of the cards or give car texts

im hyped for more yugioh content
Here's hoping they take the reception to heart and try and make anime off of cardlore...there's so much potential.
Absolutely should be a series

Nice to see you recognize most of them!!
I won’t lie, I am quite happy with myself for remembering a lot of these 😆 but definitely got over stimulated by the time Dragon Rulers appeared lol

I’ve gotten back into yugioh recently because of master duel, it’s so fun and addictive. I’m really interested in this anime too.
Master Duel is such a great game, I'm glad that Konami created it for us all and this anime perfectly compliments it imo :)
someone referring to master duel as "fun" is wild
I am. Especially the blue eyes part. Blue eyes slifer and the number cards got me into yugioh and my favorite card is dark rebellion xyz dragon
That Blue Eyes story is going to be incredible, can't wait to see what other archetypes will be shown off :)
For real bro! The Blue-Eyes stuff is what getting me hype!!
Haven't been near it for years but this makes me so excited😭
We're about to enter our Yugioh era once again 😂

I think that several studios worked on this, because I kinda recognize Ufotable, Madhouse and Studio Trigger.
Not really. This commercial has staff list on Konami animation web page and animation was mainly done by Konami animation, JC Staff and AtoriE.
HEROES and Noble/Infernoble Knights
If you want to know about infernoble just go through the epic "the song of roland". It's literally just that.
Screw the heart of the cards is the lore of the cards that matters
THE WEATHER PAINTER and EVIL EYE would be good animated.
Broke my heart when you called Dragon Rulers, "Kaijus", c'mon OG fans don't talk that way
They do when there’s so much going on all at once 😂 but I did notice my own error during editing, either way this demo reel was awesome!
That was funny if you take into account that all the names are shown along with the images
all bunnys can turn in to a GUNDAM

Gladiator Beast and Noble Knights I would love to see, I just feel like Konami could do no wrong if they made a bunch of these series
Research the Albaz lore. It’s worth watching a video it’s good lore
I will have to for sure, especially after seeing the passion in these comments for Albaz and how widespread it seems to be within the archetypes of Yugioh
Need the anime sky strike story
Im a huge E hero guy too but they don’t seem to have much of a coherent story but be nice if they make one.
I hope, if they do, they would make a new Archetype just for them, the Villain Archetype(or at least make more support for Evil Heroes, but making an Archetype to face against Heroes is cooler).
Hearing someone say "Are those Kaijus" to the Dragon Rulers, one of the most influencial cards in the history of this game truly hurts.
Being fair they were out of the meta for so long..
No lies, during the editing I noticed my mistake 😂 it has been a while for me.
Does anyone know the code hidden in this?😊
Its just you watch all genre in anime
Albaz lors
its ok bro you don't need to watch all of em
The lack of Summoned Skull and Buster Blader was dissapointing for me. Mostly just cutesy anime girls. :(
