Besides, they disregard grammar rules with very many names, and not just in German, if the name follows the structure „[proper name], the [title]“ because they often omit the comma. In German this is particularly bad because our articles are inflected and some inflections for different cases are spelled the same (verbally you'd mark the difference by intonation/rhythm of speech, and in writing you'd use a comma to clarify that the [proper name] is followed by a title that stands in the nominative, not some genitive phrase; aside from the part after the article also being inflected accordingly, if it's actually a genitive phrase). It's so cool that the Yubel Support makes things so good for the deck. ...plus they still don't even have Phantom of Yubel yet, which makes this deck EVEN more good.
Fun fact: The Yubel and Jaden final duel is heavily inspired by the japanese marriage ceremony, Lotus, Scroll and such are items used during the marriage ceremony and ends with the "binding" of the teo participants which was shown through the Super Polymerization Jaden does to end the duel Also One of these days Joshua is gonna break and bring Runick into reality due to how many jokes has been made
So something I don't see people appreciating, the horus cards actually REALLY synergize with Yubel, especially terror incarnate, because they're actually totally immune to the board wipe. I recommend specifically 3 imsetty, 1 wall, 2 king sarc, and 1 hapi
Given how Yubel used Sacred Beasts in the anime, i think it's reasonable that the sacred beast support might have said "level 10" instead of "Uria, Hamon or Raviel" in a few places because of them, making it more like a designed synergy :3
I'm extremely happy with where Yubel is rn. I've been using a "normal" variant like the one in the video, but I also like playing with a larger Unchained package, as it doesn't have as high of a ceiling, but it plays around interruption better IMO. Very hype for Phantom to see this deck become a major part of the meta.
Its insane that this deck is already very very solid, and that you can also play it with the new Fiendsmith cards which are also very very good (and definitely my new favorite engine in any fiend deck ever)

My favorite deck in years, I played with a Yubel deck about 10 years ago and it's how I went from playing bad anime decks to bad rouge decks. Right as I was thinking of getting into Edison to play Yubel there, all of these cards got announced! Been keeping up to date on every decent list of this deck, and I gotta mention that it can play Promethean Princess. Some people are playing the burning whale or sunlight wolf with it, but I prefer Duelittle Chimera to add Sharvara back to hand to pop Princess and unlock yourself out of fire without the opponent's help. And if you still have Yama in grave you can use it during your opponents turn to bring back Yubel to battle lock them. MBT's list here isn't bad, a week or two outdated with what people have solved, but pretty good. My main complaint is that the deck should be running the Unchained trap to reborn Rage from grave, because you should be linking Rage and something like Sharvara into something, and then using the trap to reborn Rage so it's playing around board breakers. Shifter and Skill Drain do still hurt the deck, but they hurt almost every other deck way more. I also personally think it should have Mature Chronicle, it's a great extender if you open it or Grave Squirmer and it can non-targeting pop problematic cards... also you know, search Super Polymerization. Which is arguably it's 3rd worst effect depending on your list. Then again I'm just not playing a "Super Poly" list, I'm playing Super Poly but not as the main strategy. And Eternal Favorite is just to slow in my opinion, if I have a choice to search it or Mature Chronicle who can only reborn OG Yubel, I'm going with Chronicle since it can do it that turn as an extender to play through Nib or something. You can also play Colossus by including 2 bricks, but the extra deck is fairly tight and Colossus is either a win more card or kills rouge decks. Which is why I'm using 3 slots in the side deck for that package, it's not good, but it's funny. (I never side it in.)

I got really lucky with these cards. Already had 3 origamal Yubel cards. Bought all the new stuff on release, which is to say the now very expensive Fusions. And I managed to trade 3 throne and a Varudras off my mates at locals for crap in my binder I didn’t want. 😂
I’m actively building this deck as we speak for the current and next format. Got the cards I was missing on order, and even pulled a QCR nightmare throne out of a pack (first pack in the box too)
Idk if this comes up in the video but super poly is this decks greatest downfall Except phantom of yubel every monster can get removed with one super poly if you also have the new yubel fusion So beware that in a mirror or when yubel is popular at your locals

Best Side against Yubel: Chain Disapperance. A trap that, when your opponent summons a monstet with 1000 or less attack you play and it banishes that monster and all other copies from hand, field, and Deck, this could be a good side to use going 2nd and if timed right can probably slow the deck down enough while dealing with some of the key cards like Samsara, Squirmer or the Yubels
It says a lot about how much Super Poly tilts me that even watching other people get hit by it spikes my blood pressure a bit. If this is the strategy that gets it hit again, then I'll love it forever.
That last turn of the last game where the opponent tried to crash a 0 atk into another 0 atk reminds me of all the times I've been playing Ritual Dogmatika and end my first turn with my opponent having one of my Iblee, while I have all def pos monsters and a 0 atk Almiraj. And then it takes them 20 sec to realize "wait, why can't I special summon?" followed by them going to the battle phase and trying to crash Iblee into Almiraj... except 0 atk monsters don't crash, they bounce off each other.
Ive been jamming this deck since wave 1. I definitely think we should be on 3x squirmer because it just does SO much for the hands that your dark beckoning beast gets hand trapped on.
Recently my girlfriend went to Japan with her sisters and promised to get me a Phantom nightmare box while there. The absolute joy I felt to have her back home and open a QCR Yubel- the loving defender forever was pure bliss. Now I need to figure out if I want to play the deck or grade and never touch the card 😂.
@@autobotstarscream765 No. Melodious pure is Flowering Etoile (up to 4/5 quick effect bounces), Schuberta (triple D.D. crow, very easy to make), and Aria which gives targeting and battle protection. all from one card combos, while still retaining handtraps and plays through almost every handtrap in the game.
I was playing my Yubel deck on paper yesterday and my friends were debating whether or not I was allowed to crash my Spirit of Yubel, Yubel, Yubel - Terror Incarnate into their monsters with Nightmare Pain like this simulator shows because the card specifically says "When this card is targeted for an attack.... blah blah then deal damage to your opponent equal to the opponent monster's attack". They were trying to say that since I was targeting their card for an attack then technically my Yubel monsters were not the target of attack. I tried searching for legitimate rulings because they just kept telling me the simulator could be wrong in allowing it. Does anyone have any links to official rulings to prove that I am in fact allowed to crash my Yubel monsters into theirs during my Battle Phase?
bro, your friends are just salty that they got otk'd. The last line of text from Nightmare Pain states that your opponent takes any battle damage you would have taken from battles involving your "Yubel" monsters.
While minor I'll, Tricorn the Cacophnous Concert and Fiendsmiths Tricorn is much more minor but is an easy to special summon lv.2 tuner thanks to how much destruction the deck naturally does and can recycle a dark fiend when it leavrs thanks to Yubel. would be worth it but Dark Becoming beast is 2 meaning either Hearld as an omni or Spright plays. Unfortuantly not many of the generic lv 12 Synchro options are that good in Yubel: Legatia could be a draw and pop and Auxila protect your countinous cards. It does have a Crimson Dragon into King Calamity line but its very questionable considering you're probably running some super poly-targets along with other ED cards you want The OCG has experimented Fiendsmith engine to start without much risk and can even make High Wave King Ceasar through certain lines.
0:49 I do find it funny that, in the attempt to alter / censor yubel's artwork in the dub (the whole "you can see how half of yubel's torso is male and the other half is female, and you can see the boob, so we just covered all black and put the missing boob"), and their attempts to adapt Yubel refering to themselves by gender neutral / non-binary pronouns (use female pronouns for the character in the present and give yubel a clearly female voice (despite how yubel could have both a male and female voice at the same time), yet showing in the flashbacks yubel used to be male, given the voice), they basically made Yubel a trans woman in the dub. Still keeping Yubel an LGBT+ character but in a different way
I think the most interesting thing is Yubel’s gender in the anime is never hard confirmed. Iirc the sub used a more gender neutral voice too making it more inconsistent. Yubel, even in the dub and sub always gave such an interesting look at things and it’s super cool!.

So basically yubel is getting a lot of love. Duel links had neos kluger for a while and now she’s got crazy tcg/ocg support.

The Melodious deck only plays with the two new Pendulum cards. It’s even less of a soup deck than the other Pendulum decks are.
Yeah melodious is basically superheavy in the way it plays 2 pends and that's it
Plus this wasn't a proper representation, the player botched all the lines.
This deck is pretty crazy with the Fiendsmith engine and unchained. Deck is capable of pumping a ton of disruption.

0:49 I do find it funny that, in the attempt to alter / censor yubel's artwork in the dub (the whole "you can see how half of yubel's torso is male and the other half is female, and you can see the boob, so we just covered all black and put the missing boob"), and their attempts to adapt Yubel refering to themselves by gender neutral / non-binary pronouns (use female pronouns for the character in the present and give yubel a clearly female voice (despite how yubel could have both a male and female voice at the same time), yet showing in the flashbacks yubel used to be male, given the voice), they basically made Yubel a trans woman in the dub.
Still keeping Yubel an LGBT+ character but in a different way
I think the most interesting thing is Yubel’s gender in the anime is never hard confirmed. Iirc the sub used a more gender neutral voice too making it more inconsistent. Yubel, even in the dub and sub always gave such an interesting look at things and it’s super cool!.
