Calling Cyberdark Wurm a Circular for cydra is crazy talk. Both cards (Jormungandr and Wurm) are decent at best. I'd agree that Wurm is better in most cases, but it's not even a starter nor does it search one. You need to play the game first, with already existing cydra cards in order to get the full potential of the Wurm. Normal core; gets impermed, Link it off to be able to activate repair plant, and/or use emergency and then u can get the full value of Wurm. Which means u already need to open with your best starters in order to make full potential of Wurms effects. I've seen what one circular does in MD. Cyberdark Wurm ain't doing allat my G.
Pretty much this, the card itself allows for some really nice uninterrupted combos, but the deck is still insanely fragile to disruption. I will say that at least Wurm opens up additional starter options for the deck (realm/claw/chimera) but Wurm is not a starter on its own.
Yea, and I hate the fact that you're incentivized to play cyberdark cards if you wanna use wurm. Is a good field spell for the normal cydra deck too much to ask? The way the things are going, we are more likely to get some generic machine support type of a field spell, that will help cydra in a roundabout way, rather than an actual good direct support for cydra. I'm not even asking to get broken cards to help push it to tier1 deck. That way, Konami is more likely to hit the deck on the banlist. Just asking for good cards that are intended for cydra and cydra alone, making them consistent and resilient to at least 1 handtrap activation trough a combo. Instead, we are gonna slam 2 new cards in our decks, add some cybedarks and 3 polymerizations for extra consistency bois. Hippie hooray!!

Wurm also is another search target for realm what makes it not a dead card when you have chimera in hand AND we finally are able to make chaos angel with a lvl 5 light and dark.
It doesn't seem like every archetype is getting one, y'all just started looking for any effect even vaugely similar to those cards and calling them copies. Nah, you still want regular Ki-sikil. NS Pink can only be stopped by using Ghost Ogre on Pink, then Ash or Imperm on the Lil-Lia. That burns 2 interrupts and leaves a Level 2 on board, so any Spright in hand is combo. It removes the initial chokepoints in your combo, but any player actually familiar with Twin plays with just save their interrupting for non-Twin chokepoints. If Pure Twins were viable, this support would be insane, but the archetype is still fairly weak without Spright or Fiendsmith.
@ I said frost > Lilla, never mentioned og kisikil. I also think if someone actively burns two cards into my starter that’s not a situation worth considering because I should have opened some sort of extender, and if not they’re still down 2 cards because they misplayed. FWIW I think people just do not explore twins, theres actually a decent number of variants you can build if you apply two concepts: doesn’t need ns and doesn’t care about the extra/works with the locks. In tear format I was able to go 40/60 into tear with twins (you can only make up so much ground against a deck your own win con actively helps) by playing bystials and chaos cards. Sweet is an excellent extender though. What's good about this card is that its basically a better Jet Synchron or Unchained Shyama.
