What deck doesn't lose on the spot if your opponent has the one disruption to stop your play? I am just asking for a friend
So, since you can effectively infinitely search with this deck, wouldn't it technically be possible to just play fuck off all the genex names, go for hyper librarian and go for exodia just by clearing your deck of all other names in one turn and only playing draw and interaction otherwise?
Y'know I'm kinda glad this deck exists.
This is the quintessential example of a youtube combo video that hypes a deck to be incredible but is all just nothing. This is the epitome of a deck in which its strength is entirely centralized in a single card or two, leading to the most swingy games ever possible. This is the prime example of the issues with modern Yu-Gi-Oh's combo playstyle that those yugiboomers complain about so damn often.
If we wanted a deck to point to that exemplifies one of Konami's awful design decisions, we now have one that represents it a millionfold and then some. We've had decks that come close. Decks that claim to make a 50 disruptions through every handtrap. But I cannot believe that watching this made me excited thinking about a Drytron, Adamancipator, Mannadium, or Snake-Eye combo.
Konami did it. They've achieved peak in this deck design.
This comment reminded me of watching videos about endymion in master duel claiming they can make "ten negates", and then trying to figure out how it was even possible (i still genuinely think 9 is the max, with 4 mat appo and 5 negate monsters on board). I then got sad bc that deck is unplayably bad now
@@nopeno-s5r the reason its still nothing is cause it cant fit 20 non engine/ handtraps. Ygo is in a fucked state rn. entire decks come out and all will depend on how good they can play through handtraps. expect tier 2.0 next year to sell new set lmao.
I wasn't awake at the end of the video...
Mill strategies be like: 0:00
I remember i had undine at some point when i was a newbie to the game (and a child, probably), never knew what to do with it because i didn't have other pieces

Didnt know that thanks for the info
Is it bad that loop city central is still less obnoxious than seeing SE combo again?
MBTplaymadolche *sigh* soon..
That got me ngl
genex after getting everything it wanted but become the most boring deck possible
Controller: I won but at what cost
Tbf, as an old school Genex player... I love this
Too bad the Genex Ally cant shine in this combo deck
2 other protection effect would be millennium eyes restrict brought out by instant fusion, and 1 mid-field breaker sadly have to hard draw it
1:54 That's....Genex's theme. They were never supposed to be a whole deck on their own. Their flavor is that they help out the other Duel Terminal archetypes (as seen with their synchros being mixed with elements from the other decks). So Birdman, Undine etc, working well in other decks is perfect.
