It seems every guy I like I feel I need to act like I don't like them. I'm so tired of "the chase." At some point I want a man to want to catch me, not just want to chase me. People are so perverse.
One possible blessing about losing an ex may be in seeing more clearly what we needed to see all along: an opportunity to work on ourselves (i.e., get to a space where we actually wish our ex well . . . ).

For real said “it’s not you, it’s me.” Then praised me for being the sexiest woman he ever knew and that he was madly in love with me ….BUT the timing was bad and he needed space and to focus on his work. Sat there crying (literally) hugging me …for 2 nights later…saying he didn’t want to hurt me and he was scared of a relationship. 🙄Then asked if he could come back after some time to think. Asked to be friends. 😢 told him I won’t be likely be around waiting and no fucking way are we friends. If he doesn’t value me as his woman, he doesn’t deserve the privilege of my friendship.
Been 1 week no contact. 😢😢😢😢😢 so tired of these wishy-washy, cowardly men.

Time apart has given me so much perspective. The no contact is a blessing even when it doesn’t feel like it. I’m indifferent and logical now in how I approach him. He reached out, we’re “friends,” but I’m never chasing or trying. It’s on him to do what he wants bc regardless my life is getting better and if he doesn’t make a decision, I have to just keep moving forward and he is sensing this.

I disagree. I can go no contact but still care. She has no clue if I care or not while I'm no contact. She might think I have moved on. It's not like there's a magical force they can feel. Only force they can feel is lack of my presence

I’m so glad I found your videos. They’re real & they give hope bc either you get better & find better or they realize they had something amazing that is YOU! So either way we can’t lose. I really really needed these videos bc it doesn’t sound right but it makes perfect sense & to have other people doing these videos validating it just comforts me when I’m in this anxious and fearful mode. I’ve only been a week out of this. I’ve never recovered so quickly to where I was excited for the future and accepting of whatever that may truly be for me ! Yes, no contact since I posted this last message. He dropped off flowers on Mother’s Day and tried to move in for a hug. I distanced myself and turned and walked away. So that’s where we left off. Haven’t heard from him.

She left me 5 months ago. She called February 11th and 20th. I ignored both calls. Her birthday was March 5th. I did not wish her happy birthday. She recently uploaded a picture I took of her (a very specific photo) of a date I took of her downtown union Station chicago. Then later on in that day , literally made a video of her professing her hate for me. She said I have a deep hatred for Robert that I know is not true but it's how I live.. like what? Laugh out loud. If you're wondering why I ignored her calls and didn't wish her happy birthday is because she left me in a very cold manner. Also , she rejected my few attempts to separate like civil adults so I gave up. She then called a month later after I went "no contact" which is why I did not answer. But yah , the photo from a decade ago and the video , sounds like I'm om her mind... Yah ... you "hate" me. In other words what she is saying is I love you so much I hate you. We're adults man , I don't got time for bs. I'm 37 gonna be 38 she just turned 33. Let's just be civil adults. Contact me if you want to but don't talk slick on social media about me. See she wants a reaction out of me ans she's not getting it. I promise you everyday it will get better, my ex husband left 2 years ago and I'm divorced for 8 months now. He treated me cold & it hurts more because our children were ghosted too. Today, I accomplished transferring my property to my name, I got my maiden surname back, and I prosper at work. I started dancing, go watch rugby games, doing whatever I wants to do. The pain, the suffering the emotional, financial and physical abuse is not part of my life any longer. He kept me back whilst he enjoyed his life. I lost 20kg😊🎉, he gained 20kg😂. He was attractive and found every female attractive whilst being married to me. Today, he called to tell me he still got an emotional bond towards me that he struggle with.
My response, "you need to deal with your issues" It's not my concern any longer" I said good bye and hang up.

We've been broken up since February and the last weeks I was perfectly ignoring, until I lost will power and replied to her I miss you message. Hi all, today I walked away from my ex! At first we agreed to be friends, but his effort kept diminishing. We had a date yesterday to which he pulled a no-show.
