4th breakup with same GF Great video! Brokenup with my on and off girlfriend of 3 years. This time she could not break up, but rather say she's busy, not return my calls, she's sick, here daughter is back from college and she has to be a mom for the summer, etc. Ad nauseum. Things were at a pinnacle of our relationship, but she hooked back up with an ex, or someone that is on and off. She gets my greatest gift...the gift of permanently missing me. The lady I’ve been with for a little over 3 years has walked away from me. Now the thing is she still contacts me and makes arrangements to meet up, why she walked away was she now has taken on a second job to keep her home that she was on the verge of losing. She works after her 1st job/primary and then both Saturdays and Sundays. The thing is I feel like a jerk because looking back she couldn’t find time to see me as often as I liked but now she finds time to work 7-8-9 hrs in her 2nd job. I still remind her and remind myself that she broke up with, so now I respond a day or so later and she’s not happy about it. I forgot to add I always let her initiate contact first. I hear from her and time from 1 day upto 9 days. We’ve separated a few times over the years and it’s all her not me and when she does this I go straight into No Contact and I stick to it this is why she reaches out and comes back but the thing is how do I get her to stay.
Continue to build yourself, mostly spiritually (read more, don't let monkey mind to command, stop the thinking process with reading), work on your body too, keep the good shape. If it doesn't work 3 times, it's better to move on. There are plenty of girls, you just have to change your point of view in general. Don't waste time! Keep it up!

from your experience, how long does the initial "relief" stage of a break up last for (for the dumper)? I am currently at day 10 post break up with someone i was with for 18 months- we are long distance but were seeing each other three times a year (from 2-4 weeks at a time), and I was prepared to move to be with him (we had spoken candidly about this in the past. Long story short- i feel he got cold feet and has commitment issues that pre-date our relationship and go back to past relationships of his). I love him very much but i told him i didn't want to hear from him unless he changed his mind (he wanted to keep the doors open for talking, but i feel if i let that happen, he'd be contacting me regularly, prolonging the pain for me). So, I informed him of the no contact preference.

Coach, I feel so terrible. It's been almost 3 months since the breakup and I'm still so I love, waiting, doing NC, focusing on myself... and he jumped to another and then ANOTHER relationship. I guess I don't really know if he actually loves her, but I inadvertently saw some tweets about how he feels broken as hell, but in his main account he's all happiness with this new girl. I just wonder why can't he come back to me. I truly loved him, the kind of love that would cross the oceans swimming and travel through the desert with no water. I can't help but feel like maybe I didn't matter and the sad thing is that I can't even find a reason to hate him. I still love him and think about him everyday. I'm working on getting my ex back, we have met up twice during the 1.5 months of break up.. both of those times I had spent the entire weekend with her at her house, we have a wonderful time, we kiss, walk on the beach, hold hands as if we were together again, then when I have to leave back to my city, 450km away. she does not want me to go.. we talk for about a day after saying she misses me back and forth,.. but then she suddenly turns cold on me, and acts like nothing is going on again.. whhy is she acting like this? hot/cold behavior. is confusing me..

The lady I’ve been with for a little over 3 years has walked away from me. Now the thing is she still contacts me and makes arrangements to meet up, why she walked away was she now has taken on a second job to keep her home that she was on the verge of losing. She works after her 1st job/primary and then both Saturdays and Sundays. The thing is I feel like a jerk because looking back she couldn’t find time to see me as often as I liked but now she finds time to work 7-8-9 hrs in her 2nd job. I still remind her and remind myself that she broke up with, so now I respond a day or so later and she’s not happy about it. I forgot to add I always let her initiate contact first. I hear from her and time from 1 day upto 9 days. We’ve separated a few times over the years and it’s all her not me and when she does this I go straight into No Contact and I stick to it this is why she reaches out and comes back but the thing is how do I get her to stay.
Continue to build yourself, mostly spiritually (read more, don't let monkey mind to command, stop the thinking process with reading), work on your body too, keep the good shape.
If it doesn't work 3 times, it's better to move on.
There are plenty of girls, you just have to change your point of view in general. Don't waste time!

I found my gf (ex) with very low self esteem and when we finally got into relationship I built her different. from your experience, how long does the initial "relief" stage of a break up last for (for the dumper)? I am currently at day 10 post break up with someone i was with for 18 months- we are long distance but were seeing each other three times a year (from 2-4 weeks at a time), and I was prepared to move to be with him (we had spoken candidly about this in the past. Long story short- i feel he got cold feet and has commitment issues that pre-date our relationship and go back to past relationships of his). I love him very much but i told him i didn't want to hear from him unless he changed his mind (he wanted to keep the doors open for talking, but i feel if i let that happen, he'd be contacting me regularly, prolonging the pain for me). So, I informed him of the no contact preference.
