I've been blocked for a week now by them, and it's very unusual to get blocked for this long. I got blocked several times before but they reached out to me every single time within a few days. They also told me that they are talking to a new better person now, so I'm afraid I might just lose them forever if I didn't break the NC and reached out to them
my mindset has changed completely. and it's been about 3 months of no contact. I don't care what she does anymore, she's not mine. and boy is she missing out, I'm going to the gym 6 times a week and am seeing insane results. i do things for ME now. not for her, but for ME. it is a freeing feeling, to feel free. i remember watching these videos thinking "I can't live without her, I'll never be the same." well yeah, I'm not the same, I'm an improved version of myself.

Same here man reaching that 3 month mark after begging and pleading at the beginning of the break up, I’ve been hitting the gym hard and seeing improvements boosts confidence, and recently this week my ex started showing up to the gym I go to out of the blue and I have noticed her staring and seeing the change but I just focus on my work out and it just gives me more fuel to keep pushing harder so do the same give them something to miss and stay strong 💪🏽

Well we're still together 6 months later :-) We've both learned a lot more about communication and the opposite sex. It's helped a lot having had that space to miss each other.

Sometimes you have to lose something for good to truly appreciate it. And like coach says, you shouldn’t hold a grudge against that person forever, especially if you still care for them.

They always come back. 3 months NC, and two failed rebounds he emailed me asking to talk. He Said he couldn’t stop thinking and comparing me to all the others and pushed the feelings away only for them to constantly come back up. I didn’t take him back though :) politely told him I was moved on but wished him all the best of luck. He was a good person, but truthfully him breaking up with me was such a blessing. I actually did this. Jumped back in a dating game soon after we ended. I hoped it would help me get my mind of him. But it was all opposite. I went on 7 dates with 7 different men and felt nothing but more sadness. Dating others got me realized that a great connection is really hard to find. Fellings I had with my "ex" were so different. We connected so much, our values, our interests, I don't have that with any of these 7 men. And I wouldn't say it is to early to say and I should give them more chances, but my ex was only a 6 months relationship and I felt all that. So I agree with coach Lee by waiting with dating. Plus if I would have find out my ex is dating again I for sure would lose all my hopes.
My DA is dating again and I'm happy because he'll soon realize that the connection we had is SO difficult to find. I had 5 dates after he dumped me and I felt nothing. Boring dates, no connection. When I met him there was 🎉 a beautiful connection between us.

Coach lee, I have been watching you for a while, since March I was begging her to take me back for atleast 5 days. I found your videos and realized I had to do no contact it worked after around two weeks. We lasted for around 5 months and recently ended things again I again begged thinking I was capable of talking her out of it but quickly realized no contact was the right choice. What really is ironic here is that right after a breakup, your last thought is to look up online what you should do and you end up following what your heart tells you, which is often a really bad idea. Only after you made all the mistakes is when you come across a channel like this.

What is there to re-attract them besides going "no contact?" I'm not lifting a finger to do anything else. He dumped me, and he was unforgivably cruel about it in at least 3 dozen ways. if he wants me back, he can do the work- ALL of the work- and fix every single thing he broke. Nothing short of a full amends will get my attention. Only then will I consider participating in a potential reconciliation. From the person I saw in the end, the guy I was in love with doesn't even exist. If I don't have ironclad proof that I can trust him, I don't want him. And I won't be doing any emotional labor whatsoever.

Update: no contact worked. And after no contact i have been letting my ex be the one to initiate contact every single time. Unless it was an emergency. I'm flying out to meet back with him this week. 1 month of NC, I am feeling already alot better. I am starting to realize I don't want him to come back. It hurts, he broke my heart and I think about him everyday, but I don't want him back. He showed me who he really was after the breakup.

@@blaxpoitation8528 So, I’ll preface my answer by saying every situation is unique and the optimal course of action is not the same every time. Only you can decide what is the best way forward. No contact is sometimes the best approach but these situations are not one size fits all. In many scenarios indefinite no contact will destroy any chance of reconciliation. Ok, not knowing anything about your situation, I’ll say give some space…depending upon your ex’s attachment style this could be anywhere from about a week to a month or two. Then reach out. If time has elapsed and there’s been no interaction, it won’t seem any more desperate or needy than it seemed the very first time you ever contacted this person.
@@blaxpoitation8528 You don't. You focus on personal development and self care. You eat clean, hit the gym, spend time with friends and get yourself back to who you were when you first met her. Make yourself busy and avoid relationships/rebounds, get comfortable and happy being single. If she reaches out, don't entertain anything until she apologizes, takes some accountability and is pretty much begging for another chance, she has to respect you otherwise it'll never work. When she reaches out it should take you by surprise because you won't be waiting or thinking about it, the ball will be in your court. Take them back, smash em a few times for old times sake or just ignore them, up to you, depending on how messy the breakup was, what she did after and how you view her then. Just know that if a girl is leaving you, she's been preparing for it for weeks if not months, getting in shape, talking to other guys, etc... Just know that she won't come back until she's been with another guy (or guys)

Day 7 of NC. I had a couple of close calls. We live in a very small town. I went inside a restaurant alone for dinner and waa shocked to see her and her son right by the door. I acted as though I never seen them, ordered food to go and left. The staff told her I was there, but neither of us spoke a word or even made eye contact. It happened again today at walmart.

No contact has worked for my case. Now I am worried that I may lose him again. Because when I love, I love hard. I keep on telling myself "don't ruin this victory; keep calm and do not do the things that you did in the past." Instead of enjoying having him back, I am worried.
I think what he is saying is, stop making a fool out of yourself! Be strong inside, have an attitude of annoyance with her or him, he/she will be challenged to get back in your good graces and back into your life forever. Sometimes you have to let people see your confidence and challenge them with a calm and annoyed attitude, an attitude you can take or leave them and tolerate them. They have to prove you wrong!

Unfortunatelly 12 months passed, I stayed NC, I am working on myself, I am doing my hobbies + new things I never done before, I joined new clubs/groups. I'm still attractive like before. I changed my appearance a bit but not too much. When I met him by accident during one event I was smiling and was polite. He didn't reach out after that. I think he is avoidant style or dismissive avoidant big time or... In a rebound 🤷♀️ and I decided he is gone forever and need to accept that. I still pray for him to be happy tho. So none of those things coaches are talking about worked🤷♀️
She ended it a month ago. I handled it poorly and even was a puppy dog during the last 6 months and realize how I was becoming unattractive. I lashed out harsh after the break up…. Big lesson and learning to own it and work on me.
No I actually feel you on that. After she broke up my emotions were HIGH!! I lashed out a couple of times, then I calmed down and started seeing a few things from her perspective. Apologized on my behalf and then went no contact
Coach great advice as always. Everything you say is accurate. A couple of things: 1. Check out your ads, some of them contradict you. 2. Will you be addressing some of the more delicate areas of attraction i.e. self care? I think this is an important component that requires a very gentle explanation.
Gf of 2 years broke up with me a month ago, been in NC for 3 weeks now, miss her dearly. We were pretty serious and very committed, but she just wasn’t anymore i guess. I hope NC is working, she isn’t flaunting her happiness like she used to on social media anymore like on the first week. Just hope that’s real progress.

@@travis1418 For me, it’s gotten a lot better with my own emotions. I hardly think of her as a girl I really love, to me, she’s someone who I do want to be with but being in NC gave me a whole new perspective. But there are some signs for me that it’s working, just keep with it man, no matter what happens, you’ll get better, just work on yourself and trust that your relationship was great and that she’ll realize that.

Day 36 of no contact, he reached out to tell me that he transfered some money he owed me. We ended up talking, it went very naturally, very well and he said there is not a single day when he does not think about me, about the importance I had in his life and the influence I still have, his feelings. He wakes up in the middle of the night sometimes. We agreed to talk a bit more next week. For context, we have been together for 7 strong years, we were about to get married and due to an incident things went downhill. I am not sure if we'll get back together as something changed in my trusting him and I am not 100% sure if he will make the effort and value me after this incident. I still love him though. As like a 4-5x “rebound” for women, including my most recent ex, I cannot stress how important it is to NOT jump right back into dating, A, because of everything coach Lee laid out, but also B, rebounds never work, EVER. So what’s going to happen is you’re just going to bring pain to someone who might really like you and be a good person, all for the sake of trying to make your ex jealous or even get over your ex. Unless you genuinely like the person you’re going out with, but in that case, all your focus needs to be on them and your ex needs to be cleared from your mind. In a nut shell, don’t use rebounds to get over someone. It’s maladaptive behavior and it’s honestly kinda narcissistic. The whole “get under someone to get over someone” is SUCH a selfish way to go about life and getting dumped is probably karma for being a bad person. DO NOT DATE UNTIL YOU ARE 100% POSITIVE YOU ARE OVER YOUR EX AND HAVE MOVED ON COMPLETELY
Even though I dumped him and filed for divorce, I am heartbroken and also applying these concepts. He will not hear from me at all. If God or the universe wants us together, something magic will happen. Until then, I am okay giving myself time to heal and improve myself in many other ways.
coach lee I followed your advice about not ignoring your ex when they reach out and that took me to 5 months in the split of responding to rubbish messages to check if I was there , 3 months later she tells my mate she thought getting back with me was a good idea (I left her to come to me but she didn't) then a few weeks later she tells the same mate she will never get back with me! All that you describe should be a spontaneous way of acting in a break up situation. That is, of course, if you are centered, mature and aware. Maybe sometimes break ups are just a way for life to teach us exactly that: to be more centered, mature and aware. Still your pointers are precious because there is a lot of lost souls in the world who needs wisdom to rewire themselves to it. Just one last think: Love is the container and no one can contain it. Putting yourself at the service of love first and then helping other is one of the highest forms of true love.

I wish I had listened, I watched the videos but still caved in and contacted her, begged and pleaded for the first few weeks intermittent contact for the next few months, she has moved on now and I’m devastated. She is happy and I’m a mess starting no contact again but this time I will succeed and if she doesn’t come back that’s her loss. It doesn’t help the pain though
It’s been about two weeks since he broke up with me, he kept saying he hadn’t been happy for awhile but he also didn’t know what he wanted (me or the breakup) finally he chose the break up. Throughout our talk he kept saying he loved and cared about me and it almost seemed like he regretted bringing it up. He was really confusing and kept giving me mixed signals. A few days after our breakup he deleted me off of social media even though he said he wanted to be friends and talk. It’s been 13 days of NC but I unfortunately have to see him in my classes. At this point idk if I want him back after him giving me so many mixed signals but I love him so much still.
@@Sihara.Liyanapathirana in a few days it’ll be a year since we broke up, I stayed in no contact and it worked wonders for helping me get over him. We haven’t talked since then but that’s ok, I’ve moved on and made peace with it, and I’m hoping he did too!
The important thing I'd not getting her back, as there are no guarantees she will. Ultimately the decision is hers. Your job is to get yourself back, make forward progress in your life, and by doing so, controlling your future, as much as possible, and if she comes back, and if you still want her, great. If not, take it as a learning experience, and keep pushing forward.
I’d rather attract those right things in my life ( abundance, happiness, positive energy )over someone who choose to walk away. Because that is just waste of my time and energy. Why not focus on yourself first? Work on your self esteem, your mental health! Coz believe me you reap what you sow, and cultivate what you grow.
My ex was the provider. He broke up with me and wanted me back after 2-3 months. During the breakup, I started working and replaced his help with my own money. Now that he wants me back, I really have no use for him. What I’ve learned: The same mouth that’ll feed you is the same one that’ll starve you. Put YOU first. First. Only. Everytime.
My ex and I broke up in May and I had a mental breakdown with alcohol and made the mistake of reaching out to her and called her and her friends something disrespectful and feel like I ruin all chances. However, no contact does help to help you see who you really are, what areas you need to work on; everyone makes mistakes. And thank you Coach Lee for the wisdom.
@@tankslapper4686 trust me I was pretty bad. I would drink for weeks every day from morning to night. But I sobered up by talking to a psychiatrist and making small changes. When I get the urge to drink I just go for a drive with music and allow myself to feel whatever I'm trying to escape in alcohol and accept that it's okay to be weak at times...it's just not okay to stay down. Anyway if I can change so can you and good luck with the alcohol and it does get better with effort and faith.

And now when i reflect on it...it seems like i pushed her away....now its been 2 weeks without her or the alcohol....i really do miss her and if she comes back... I'm gonna treat her like she deserves it....not that I treated her bad....but things got out of hand when i was drunk.... Now I've been sober for 2 weeks and I don't even have the urge anymore to drink....i just wish i had a second chance at thr relationship....
@@tankslapper4686 I feel you on that. I also wish I had a second chance at making things better but I ask myself the question "if we got back together right now what improvements have I made?" It's heartbreaking feeling like you're the reason why it ended but at the same time you have to give yourself the credit for realizing your flaws. Trust me everyone has a dark side and messes up but you're only getting started on your journey to getting better. Good luck and everything happens for a reason. You're going to find that relationship again but find it within yourself first.
I was with my ex for over 6 years. He never actually broke up with me but ghosted me in July 2020. I went complete no contact and he reached out with a vm message in June 2021 two days after my birthday saying he loved and missed me. He said he had been afraid to reach out and was afraid that I had moved on. I had him back but he ghosted me again in January 2022. I don’t think that I made him work enough to earn me back. I am in complete no contact again and continue to work on myself. I am rewatching videos for strength to stay in no contact and for some tips on how to respond if he reaches out again. This video was very helpful. Make your ex earn you back!
@@terael5637 Thank you so much! It was extremely difficult the first time. At least this time I am a lot stronger. He still has things in my house from the first breakup that he never took back. He seems to be an avoidant and if he tries to contact me again I will be polite but I need for him to explain himself a lot more. We are in our 50s and 60s and too old to be playing games. He did reach out after almost 1 year after I went complete no contact so there is hope for everyone!
I was told he needed ‘Space’ and after a couple of weeks of talking occasionally on the phone and asking what had happened (from my knowledge, everything was going well), yes there was crying (on both sides) and asking questions, pleading and, I hate to think of it now, how pathetic I probably looked and acted- I am now day 16 NC. I made mistakes, talked to a mutual friend about how sad I was (and yes she told him)- I’m just going to do the only thing I can which is NC. He even said he didn’t want communication. I think he threw me a bone and said he would get in touch with me after a few months to see where he was at.. I can’t help but look back and think how I wish I acted better- but there’s nothing to do now but NC. I wish us all luck

I have to debate the " no dating" thing. I'd never go on dating immediately after a breakup. What is there to re-attract them besides going "no contact?" I'm not lifting a finger to do anything else. He dumped me, and he was unforgivably cruel about it in at least 3 dozen ways. if he wants me back, he can do the work- ALL of the work- and fix every single thing he broke. Nothing short of a full amends will get my attention. Only then will I consider participating in a potential reconciliation. From the person I saw in the end, the guy I was in love with doesn't even exist. If I don't have ironclad proof that I can trust him, I don't want him. @@blaxpoitation8528 So, I’ll preface my answer by saying every situation is unique and the optimal course of action is not the same every time. Only you can decide what is the best way forward. No contact is sometimes the best approach but these situations are not one size fits all. In many scenarios indefinite no contact will destroy any chance of reconciliation.
Ok, not knowing anything about your situation, I’ll say give some space…depending upon your ex’s attachment style this could be anywhere from about a week to a month or two. Then reach out. If time has elapsed and there’s been no interaction, it won’t seem any more desperate or needy than it seemed the very first time you ever contacted this person.
@@blaxpoitation8528 You don't. You focus on personal development and self care. You eat clean, hit the gym, spend time with friends and get yourself back to who you were when you first met her. Make yourself busy and avoid relationships/rebounds, get comfortable and happy being single.
If she reaches out, don't entertain anything until she apologizes, takes some accountability and is pretty much begging for another chance, she has to respect you otherwise it'll never work. When she reaches out it should take you by surprise because you won't be waiting or thinking about it, the ball will be in your court. Take them back, smash em a few times for old times sake or just ignore them, up to you, depending on how messy the breakup was, what she did after and how you view her then.
Just know that if a girl is leaving you, she's been preparing for it for weeks if not months, getting in shape, talking to other guys, etc...

Day 7 of NC. I had a couple of close calls. We live in a very small town. I went inside a restaurant alone for dinner and waa shocked to see her and her son right by the door. Unfortunatelly 12 months passed, I stayed NC, I am working on myself, I am doing my hobbies + new things I never done before, I joined new clubs/groups. I'm still attractive like before. I changed my appearance a bit but not too much. When I met him by accident during one event I was smiling and was polite. He didn't reach out after that. I think he is avoidant style or dismissive avoidant big time or... In a rebound 🤷♀️ and I decided he is gone forever and need to accept that. I still pray for him to be happy tho. Day 36 of no contact, he reached out to tell me that he transfered some money he owed me. We ended up talking, it went very naturally, very well and he said there is not a single day when he does not think about me, about the importance I had in his life and the influence I still have, his feelings.

For context, we have been together for 7 strong years, we were about to get married and due to an incident things went downhill.

As like a 4-5x “rebound” for women, including my most recent ex, I cannot stress how important it is to NOT jump right back into dating, A, because of everything coach Lee laid out, but also B, rebounds never work, EVER. So what’s going to happen is you’re just going to bring pain to someone who might really like you and be a good person, all for the sake of trying to make your ex jealous or even get over your ex. Unless you genuinely like the person you’re going out with, but in that case, all your focus needs to be on them and your ex needs to be cleared from your mind.
In a nut shell, don’t use rebounds to get over someone. It’s maladaptive behavior and it’s honestly kinda narcissistic. The whole “get under someone to get over someone” is SUCH a selfish way to go about life and getting dumped is probably karma for being a bad person.
DO NOT DATE UNTIL YOU ARE 100% POSITIVE YOU ARE OVER YOUR EX AND HAVE MOVED ON COMPLETELY

coach lee I followed your advice about not ignoring your ex when they reach out and that took me to 5 months in the split of responding to rubbish messages to check if I was there , 3 months later she tells my mate she thought getting back with me was a good idea (I left her to come to me but she didn't) then a few weeks later she tells the same mate she will never get back with me! I wish I had listened, I watched the videos but still caved in and contacted her, begged and pleaded for the first few weeks intermittent contact for the next few months, she has moved on now and I’m devastated. It’s been about two weeks since he broke up with me, he kept saying he hadn’t been happy for awhile but he also didn’t know what he wanted (me or the breakup) finally he chose the break up. Throughout our talk he kept saying he loved and cared about me and it almost seemed like he regretted bringing it up. He was really confusing and kept giving me mixed signals. A few days after our breakup he deleted me off of social media even though he said he wanted to be friends and talk. It’s been 13 days of NC but I unfortunately have to see him in my classes. At this point idk if I want him back after him giving me so many mixed signals but I love him so much still.

@@tankslapper4686 trust me I was pretty bad. I would drink for weeks every day from morning to night. But I sobered up by talking to a psychiatrist and making small changes. When I get the urge to drink I just go for a drive with music and allow myself to feel whatever I'm trying to escape in alcohol and accept that it's okay to be weak at times...it's just not okay to stay down. Anyway if I can change so can you and good luck with the alcohol and it does get better with effort and faith.

And now when i reflect on it...it seems like i pushed her away....now its been 2 weeks without her or the alcohol....i really do miss her and if she comes back... I'm gonna treat her like she deserves it....not that I treated her bad....but things got out of hand when i was drunk.... Now I've been sober for 2 weeks and I don't even have the urge anymore to drink....i just wish i had a second chance at thr relationship....

I was with my ex for over 6 years. He never actually broke up with me but ghosted me in July 2020. I went complete no contact and he reached out with a vm message in June 2021 two days after my birthday saying he loved and missed me. He said he had been afraid to reach out and was afraid that I had moved on. I had him back but he ghosted me again in January 2022. I don’t think that I made him work enough to earn me back. I am in complete no contact again and continue to work on myself. I am rewatching videos for strength to stay in no contact and for some tips on how to respond if he reaches out again. This video was very helpful. Make your ex earn you back!

@@terael5637 Thank you so much! It was extremely difficult the first time. At least this time I am a lot stronger. He still has things in my house from the first breakup that he never took back. He seems to be an avoidant and if he tries to contact me again I will be polite but I need for him to explain himself a lot more. We are in our 50s and 60s and too old to be playing games. He did reach out after almost 1 year after I went complete no contact so there is hope for everyone!

I was told he needed ‘Space’ and after a couple of weeks of talking occasionally on the phone and asking what had happened (from my knowledge, everything was going well), yes there was crying (on both sides) and asking questions, pleading and, I hate to think of it now, how pathetic I probably looked and acted- I am now day 16 NC. I made mistakes, talked to a mutual friend about how sad I was (and yes she told him)- I’m just going to do the only thing I can which is NC. He even said he didn’t want communication. I have to debate the " no dating" thing. I'd never go on dating immediately after a breakup. BUT.....a year later, if you are still hoping, like I was with my ex, what kind of message are you giving to them? ( in case you did properly stay in NC). They will think that you can't go on with your life, that you are still thinking they were the " one", and that it is so easy for them to get back with you. How are they going to respect that?
There comes a time, where enough is enough, you must pick up your pieces and move on.
