The more time apart the one who is supposed to change more than likely would not want the other same ole person who didnt accept that a relationship is two (2) people not one and that instead of wanting to GROW together that they wanted to throw blame and judge their significant other. When I first broke up (it’s weird to admit this because of ego; I thought my intellect, education, rationalism altogether was almost sad to reach out to break-up coaching videos on RUclips). Coach Lee was the first coach to help me through my hardest, most depressed and suicidal days where I was thrown into a whirlwind of primal panic and a lot of PTSD trauma.
I LOVE Coach Lee and am very grateful for his presence in my life as well as the calming deductions in his videos. However, I’m just going to be really honest here - I actually purchased the Emergency Break Up Kit and I felt a little disappointed because I feel like his multitude of videos here on RUclips were more helpful and informative (and they’re free resources also). Once again, I LOVE Coach Lee but I think it’s not worth it to purchase the EBU Kit.

Coach Lee, I was dumped a week and a half ago after 1 year relationship and I straight went to 'hell' experiencing all kinds of anger, sadness, depression and self hatred. During that period I heavily relied on your video's to survive each days. However as of yesterday i just suddenly realized , I don't need him anymore, is he even worth my effort to get him back? I mean if he left me once why not again next time? I am over him. I am too good for him. So no more waiting or no more no contact. I don't care about him anymore and this feels really good. No contact works i was discarded few months ago I agreed with him but said that's not want I want but I have to respect your wishes I watched these videos daily and put the focus on me I am fit but stepped up the exercise from 3 times a week to daily after 8 weeks I got a text then the calls and trying to get back with me followed I am back with him now but I made him wait and he had to work hard to come back sit tight it can and does work thanks coach Lee very good videos.

Coach Lee it's been two months of no contact and I just want to thank you for all the comfort and reassurance you gave me. No I didn't get her back she never reached out or even tired I lost her. But I realized by losing her I found myself worth and I'll carry the lessons I've learned to my next. When I feel like I'm ready thank you for everything.

Coach Lee, I have decided during no contact that actually I'm worth more. My ex is a classic Narc and wouldn't even need a diagnosis. Went days without randomly not talking to me, making me feel very low, blaming his depression for his behaviour etc. Always really mean to people making comments, striving to be better than everyone else. Had a big thing about famous people, always bragging about those he had met as he was a bouncer for 11 years. I've met someone else who is actually normal and respects me and we have much more in common. If my ex does return after no contact I'm definitely showing him the door. Anyone out there who has any doubt about getting their ex back for the same reasons, you are worth more and there is definitely someone else out there for you who can make you a million times happier xx

I didn’t get dumped, I left because of the lack of attention, lack of intimacy, lack of appreciation, etc... but it still hurts. 9 years down the drain. I’m trying to pick my life up and put it back together. Everybody take it one day at a time. That’s all you can do. So I’m just over 3 weeks in NC - my worry at present is will I be able to forgive my ex for breaking up with me? It’s bold to say “forgive”, because most of the time if you are successful to re-attract your ex, it means that you have seen their decision as something that is their problem and not in your control, so it’s easier to move past it and start again - but I have started wondering if I’ll ever be able to forget how the break up has made me feel 🤔
Dale, you have to. If you want her back she needs to be attracted to you. With anger and resentment she will not. What you can do is ask her what she has learnt from this, and also set some new standards. If you want her back, your only focus should be your own emotional attraction.
Over time you will be able to forgive her ... give it time the anger goes away

I understand the whole no contact thing and you give very great advice. In my opinion if someone do no contact for 2 or 3 months, they will be right back seeking advice on how to get their ex back that is now in a rebound relationship because the ex will be in a vulnerable state of mind, plus their friends and family will be convincing them to move on. Then you will have to go into no contact again because they are now in a rebound relationship and maybe less attracted to you due to being in a rebound relationship. I could be wrong just my vision

I talk more about that I’m my Emergency Breakup Kit. It’s identifying what went wrong, determine life goals/expectations (and if you two are both moving toward that for each of you), and attraction in general. That’s the basics.

No contact works, but not always the way you expect it to. My ex reached out to me 7 months after the breakup. She called me drunk and crying and I picked her up and had sex with her in her bed where she soon thereafter told me she is still in love with me. I then find out she has a boyfriend. She told me she was going to tell him what happened and breakup with him. She texts me the next day saying that she realized she didn’t take time to get over me and she needs time to be alone. Havnt heard from her in another 8 months. I’ve moved on, but i still think about her from time to time.
In my situation my boyfriend fell out in love with me because i become too needy and clingy and i realize that now, so the brake up, although is painful, has help me to understand that and overcome this so i wont make the same mistake again, im getting back to myself, rebuild my life and become more aware to not fall in the same situation in my next relationship, it might be with him or not, i do miss him, but i prefer to focus on myself now

My ex broke up with me last September because I neglected her. Didn't give her the sweetness she's looking for, the care that she wants and thinks I've taken her for granted. She thinks I broke her as a person, created a monster inside of her, she had to self-pity and eventually lost her attraction to me. After a month of breakup she went into a new relationship and eventually moved in together. After a month or two together, it went south and she started to see me again. I immediately accepted her back when they broke up but she kept seeing the other one. It didn't go well for me because I feel like she's testing the waters and I kinda put pressure on us. So she asked me if she can go back home to their apartment where the one still lives. I told her I can't be her backup and don't want to be friends with her so she can leave and figure out what she wants. She said I missed my chance during the time that we're together and a lot of things happened already and she's just confused. So now I started the no contact but a bit hard because we all work together so trying my best.

I use no contact to work on the areas coach Lee mention, but I also use that time to reflect on what I can do differently in the relationship wether it’s for future reconciliation or starting something new with someone new. Both is equally as sweet

Just my humble opinion here, but they are your ex for a reason... there are literally billions of other choices out there for all of us. I personally wouldn't want any of my ex's back in my life. They taught me valuable lessons that I put to good use going forward. I have had some of the best dogs in the world as pets, and when they passed on, I got a new one that opened my eyes to new possibilities and adventures. Not a single one is the same, and none of them diminished the next. They were all just different. Only dead fish float down the stream... keep swimming forward!

You’ve just hit the nail on the head my lover/sp hasn’t left me due to loss of attraction she has had to look after her 78 year old mum who has leukaemia and her mum is very very needy even before she had leukaemia. I’ve seen my SP’s mum turned around to my SP and say your always in your phone when you should be here visiting me, this was after my SP being with her mum for a good 8 hrs my lover/SP at the time was 48 her mum was 75, when my SP is at her business place of work her mum calls her there just to ask what time are you coming home, my SP has told me she goes to work for a break away from her mum ....
I have two questions that I would love for you to do videos on.
1. What to do when you see your ex during no contact? For example, I see mine at school and at an after school activity that we both do.
2. Wouldn’t me looking happy and having fun make my ex think that he did the right thing for both of us when he broke up with me because he would think I was happy without him?
1. Be polite and positive. Be sure to show that you're approachable, but that you're not going to jump through the roof with excitement when you see them. Be cautious.
2. Even better than looking happy, BE happy. In my experience, instead of "making yourself happy", finding a way to focus on other (volunteering, helping a family member/friend, etc.) is a great way to stop thinking about your ex and your happiness will come from that. It will be apparent for those who see you. Especially your ex.

I dont understand how someone can move into another relationship so quickly. Me and her made a year together and now it's like that time never existed...I don't get it
