She was cold during our breakup. I left her to be and went into NC. Gave her space. Sent her a letter expressing my feelings and left it at that. She contacts me after 30 days of me maintaining NC and is crying and apologizing. Her feelings and suffering seems genuine but I will take it slow. do you know when she read the letter after the break-up? i did the same, wrote lots of poems, letter and made a book with our photos, but i know she's in a rebound. and 'i wont read it now', her sis said. i asked yours because i wanna have a presicion that she'll read it if she miss me, or she will miss me if she read it
@@semih114 she read it right after I sent it. It was a long letter so she took 4 days to read it because she said she kept getting too emotional everytime. She called me after reading half of it and then read the rest next day. What I did was just sent the letter and left her at that. No texts no callings.

I'm so dumb, as I was reading all these comments, I was wondering why everyone seems to have gone to North Carolina! But NC means No Contact! Well, my ex broke up with me May 7, after 3 1/2 years. I spent the first 8 days begging on text. She didn't want to talk. Then I gave up begging. Two weeks of NC, and she started "chasing me," but I have been ignoring her for 4 months, in an effort to offset my begging. I know I risk her never coming back now, but I accept that risk.

He reached out today on August 8th and we broke up on June 25th! It’s been 6 weeks of no contact he reached out on his birthday 7/17 when he saw that I went radio silent. He texted and asked “You never missed me? You’re hardcore” coincidently he sensed that I went on my first date since our breakup. It seemed impossible 5 weeks ago but I literally don’t even want my ex back anymore! Coach Lee is so correct in all of his theories always stay strong and push through and NEVER contact them. Your ex WILL come back. If they don’t, you might realize you don’t even want them and you maintain your integrity and self-improvement will attract an even better potential partner. Radio silence is going all in, double or nothing it’s the best way to go from the beginning. I did it and it caused a major impact. She started posting things referring to me and pretty much trying to get me to break no contact. I’m happy for you he reached out and saw how he made a mistake. Now go get your man back 👍🏽🙂

No contact works. It's been 1 year
since I got back with my ex. Things are ok. But don't think it's a big deal. Never put your happiness on someone else. You are hurt because your ego wants validation. This is not love, or passion, is just ego. Even though we're together we never felt the need to talk about the breakup. But you know, right now I don't fully trust her, I don't feel hurt, I just don't trust her 100%. What if she decides to breakup again at anytime? At this point I don't mind too much. Happiness is not outside, it's inside of us. Good luck!

@@SoundsSilver It was less than a month, but to tell you the truth I took a long time to start using the no contact rule, I think I spend almost 1 year reaching out to her, which I think it wasn't a good thing. When I decided to stop reaching out things changed faster.

the only way to make her stay is for you to continue growing in every aspect in yout life.. it is important to build your confidence and having happiness from within not depending on her so you can share that genuine happiness and youll continue giving your love not for any other reason but just because you trully love her. Work towards becoming the best yu becoming better everyday.
Coach Lee how am I ever able to thank you enough. During my darkest days you were my BEST friend and the only on here for me. I owe you EVERYTHING. My GF broke up with me 3 months ago, acted like the coldest person on earth even though i did EVRRYTHING for her. She turned into something i had not ever seen in my 8 year relationship with her. To all who dispair. No contact DOES WORK EVEN FOR A GAP AS LARGE AS THREE YEARS. I've been in love with the same woman for 13 years, we have both loved, lived and had families with other people but something pulls us back together. If only for short periods. It's a long complicated relationship situation, one not even Coach Lee could probably help me with but the short version is, no contact for as long as three years can work, you just have to stick to it. If they truly love you, if you had a special connection (you know the one) they WILL return. In the meantime, live, love and enjoy life.

And my ex did reached , but that's when I messed up
I showed her that I was still interested in her, so she told me she's not interested in a relationship and only wants to be friends
Ofcourse I declined the offer, but we did had few positive interaction after that
But since things were not moving fast, I started overthinking and I showed her how hurt I was after breakup. And I was afraid that she would told me to move on, so out of fear of her response I blocked.
But on the same day , I unblocked her because I knew I did something terrible in full of emotions and I really regret it.
I apologised to her multiple times, and told her what I did was not a true representation of me and I was just full of emotions and anxiety and messed up
She did forgave me , but told me "we're done" and there is no future for us
So I guess I only have to move on.
But there's a part of me , who still hopes and want her back
Because regardless of the ups and downs we had a good relationship
Even her friends and family liked me.
So I pray and hope our ex come back, because it would be shame to throw away such a beautiful bond
The truth is if you have to go no contact to gain importance or attractIon, that person more than likely is not for you. Someone who truly loves another needs no absence to notice you .

I wanted to say after 4 months of little to no contact. My ex suddenly wanted to talk and made it clear she wanted to give our relationship another chance. 4 months of seeing her twice a week as our kids played baseball together. I kept my cool. We politely ignored one another and I stayed positive working on myself physically and mentally. We stayed friends on Facebook but made no contact. I followed your advice and kept moving forward. Enjoying myself and being tasteful and respectful with my posts on social.
I feel like our new relationship is just that. Completely new and full of good feelings again.

My ex has BPD. So I had to reach out one last time. I had to make the last interaction a good one so that's what she remembers. I apologized and told her I shouldn't have blown up and that I was at my limit and I'm allowed to make mistakes. I told her I was in therapy doing DBT/CBT so I could stop vilifying her for her diagnosis. I told her she thinks I don't care but I listed out a lot of reasons as to why I do care. I told her I'm not mad at her for already being with someone else. I told her it's common for someone with BPD to idealize someone else as the cure right after a break up. I told her it's all a simple misunderstanding and that I'm dedicated towards forgiving her. I told her she would feel a lot better if she could think of other reasons why I act the way I act. I told her I also have a wounded inner child and I deserve the same empathy and understanding I'm giving her. I told her she may think that person she is now seeing is the one but I disagree. I said the right person is the one who is dedicated towards understanding you (you have to use the word understanding because people with BPD crave being understood). I told her that no matter how mad she gets I'm dedicated to understanding her. I also told her when she's thinking I don't care to message me. Because I will give her reassurance. I also told her when she's laying in bed at night having impure thoughts about me to give me a call so I can come show her how much I've missed her. I told her to have fun in the meantime with the girl she's seeing ;)
She will be back. She's a hurt child at heart. I'm going to be an unperturpable man, have water tight boundaries, I'm going to give her reassurance, and I'm going to lovingly put her in her place. I'm going to have an amazing support group so I can handle the stress that builds up from dealing with this. I won't slip up as bad as I did the last time.

Hi Lee, another great video. I always listen to you. Everything you say is the truth. Before I broke up with my ex, I didn't know he was the Monster that he was. He would love to pick arguments with me for no reason, and I used to say "ya wanna break up?' I was angry for the needless arguments. Then it got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore. This was in our 5th year together. If someone doesn't want me, I DON'T BEG! When I found out what he was with the FUTURE FAKING, Gas Lighting, etc..I RAN.. I learned a lot In the past 11 years, and of course, you helped me a lot. If someone doesn't want you, don't beg them bcse you belittle yourself. If they keep telling you they need more time, give them time BUT HAVE FUN. Don't wait around the phone. Finally, I personally learned to keep off social media in my situation. Yes please. We got back together a week later. Lasted a 1.5 weeks, then dumped again. Said she wasn't a priority and idk. She said she still had my number if... But didn't finish the sentence. It's now been about 2 weeks of NC. It's hard this second time too. We were together for 4 years and she has a daughter that called me dad. It's rough. No cheating or anything like that.

I'm not telling you what to do, but I would start getting out with my friends, and don't let her use you when she's available. I would NEVER take that from anyone. That's what I would do. Well, less than a month later she's back. In my case, I was the one who broke up but it was because he didn’t valued my presence and my love to him. I went no contact and it lasted 10 months... he never contacted me. It was me who then messaged him. He was glad I did, he called, said he's single... I smiled, I believed there's still hope for us to have something. Unfortunately his bad behavior, bad habits were still present, also he still wanted no commitment. I turned him down. Listen to coach lee, it actually works, i went trough all this last year, when i started no contact, she reached me few days after. But if things dont go well, dont push it. Work on yourself and find something that gonna suit you. 1 year after we broke up again, but this time its final for me, and those videos makes me stronger when my will gives up. I know thats all habbit and stuff, since i didnt enjoy that relationship few months prior, but if you want to try again, only way is to do no contact, be positiv, work on yourself, build be self respect and in the end you will be better person.
I just started watching your videos and I am getting a lot out of them. I am almost two months into a separation from my partner and it has been the most difficult experience of my life, break up or other wise. One factor that is making this time so much harder for us, both, however, is that we have a two and a half year old son. I heard that same crap after 24 years. "I need to find out who I am". "I want to see where my journey takes me". Truth, she had someone else. A married guy she works with. It took a couple of months for the pain to go away, but I am through with her. We had stuff to wrap up for a couple of months, but now we are through. We raised a son together, but I won't be where she is going to be. I couldn't stand to be around her anymore.

My break up was 6weeks ago and initially I was devastated because he walked away with no explanation after a year. I did everything I just told you to do and I stayed in no contact. At this point I’m looking back and seeing that this happened for a reason and I no longer feel that awful compulsion of wanting him back. Now I think if anyone could leave me that quickly and that cruely they don’t deserve me.

OMG. I did the no-contact, he texted me after two months. It’s been a few weeks since we get back together. Then today, he ended it again. I think he takes me for granted since he thought I will always wait for him. I still love him but I hate him for doing that.

I lost my ex - i used these ideas and they worked a couple of times with a few weeks silence and then a proper breakup happened - I ignored her for 7 months and then text her after talking to her in the street and then sent sporadic unanswered messages.
I suggested we should get back together and that we had good times and she had it easy for a single mum who integrated me into her childrens life for a few years.
My local team won a cup and I posted my pictures on social media that she saw through a tag ( she blocked me after) and then I sent a joke picture to her from the event (she missed out on going as I could have taken her family) 3 days later I got an informal call from the police asking not to contact her again - it coincided on a day she returned to her stressful job after a holiday .

I feel like that is something people don't talk about that much and I feel that it's more common then what we think and how much of an affect that can have on a person to make the descision to break up with someone that is a good partner to them.

Coach Lee, this video was perfect timing for me. Thank you for what you are doing. The first step hit me the hardest where you said do not be taken for granted. I am separated with my wife at the moment in the beginning she wanted a straight-up divorce but it's been 6 months now and we are still living together basically acting like a married couple still but with just less intimacy is all.
Ex reached out after six months and wants to talk. We'll see what happens tomorrow. I'm going to watch more videos and prepare to listen with no emotion. @@3lewi the weekend was great we talked for hours and caught up with everything that has happened since the break up. Talk about why the break up happened and it was a blessing in disguise. We both missed each other and she actually tried to reconcile earlier but I was in my feelings breaking no contact like an idiot but I started over and continued working on myself. Coach Lee is spot on with the ebuk. I just wish I had been more disciplined. She actually said what I wanted to ask before I even asked. We were always honest with each other and even though we are just taking it one day at a time the love is definitely there. We both acknowledged our faults and identified what we need to work on. I don't know where we will end up but we are both relieved we are talking again with more openness and just enjoying the moment. I dated she dated but it just wasn't the same. We built a strong friendship before we were official. She tried to friend zone me and I politely rejected and told her I have enough friends. We couldn't just be friends. By the end of this weekend we both committed to working on being better with each other and we didn't want to feel the pain of separation again. To be continued.........

I find myself trying to watch this and focus meanwhile experiencing a mini panic attack from my anxiety over my on and off person, and I just feel my heart literally through my chest as it races like a heart attack I assume. I hold my hand over my heart and I just apologized for not being in control of my emotions and for putting my heart through stress over something so pointless . I wish I was what people consider to be normal. I don’t process break ups well or ghosting as I have BPD and was recently diagnosed (one of the symptoms be strong/enhanced fear of abandonment ). The relationship went to hell but was heaven on earth . It was a safe haven from the world . At least for me it was .

It was totally out the blue and was the worst wake up call, and am in complete no contact . We routinely were hanging out and sleeping over daily and now it’s just me and my thoughts . He still watches my story , and Im watching Dylan James on RUclips . I highly recommend watching him and Kim Velez on attracting your ex back and shifting your focus back and power back to you. Don’t listen to limiting beliefs as it’s been programmed in us from our surroundings and other people . We can have limitless/endless possibilities on how situations can turn around . People break up and get back together all the time. That can be our story too, our subconscious mind is our simulation to our 3D surroundings, the more you feel like a loser, situations will present themselves that make you a loser because it is a belief that now you have to experience to make it true . The more we feel like winners and focus on our self concept and reprogramming our subconscious and limiting beliefs would we see actual results that back up the belief of being a winner. I’m happy to see he’s still watching me even if it means we’re not in contact bc my belief says he’s still worried about my life and will reach out bc I’m not attacking and forcing myself on him anymore (I was a creep tbh I would show up if he wouldn’t respond and bombard him with messages). Now I take my power back and I know he would have to reach out due to being out in the cold and me growing more attractive due to my new self concept and mysterious. Hey Coach Lee, me and my ex are on speaking terms again after breaking up over a month ago. I followed the no contact rule when she broke up with me and eventually she ended up reaching out to me within a week. I called my ex out on taking me for granted and then he stonewalled me I then ended things. He ignored me and when he eventually reached out again he did all these things.
I ended it all because he was playing games. I wasn't taking him for granted, it was the other way around.
So be careful how you use this advice if you are the one who is in the wrong. You might end things completely instead.

it's been 50 days nc so far, broke up 3 months ago. Tell her that if you talk you wouldn’t want to talk with the intention of just being friends and so it’s best to move on and either work on issues of the old relationship, let go of the past and start something new, or to use the experience of your past with each other to grow and go your separate ways
If she wants to hang out find out whether she has the intention of meeting up to see if maybe she would feel comfortable reuniting or if she just wants to hang out on a completely platonic level “as friends”

I just broke my 30 day NC. Asked her casually how she was doing and she told me she was doing fine and asked me how I was doing. I said to my friends that she actually answered and asked them for advice on what I should say back. They told me I should say I’m doing fine and ask her if she was open to meet up and talk. Stupid as I was I thought it would be a good idea and send a message asking her if she would be open to talk. She left me on read and it’s been 4 days now.
