this is still the issue. 3k in power dollars, 3k in discount and you are still over 40k OTD on an SXT. Sub 32-35k OTD is where it needs to be.
Even MSRP is too much for these cars right now
I bought a new Scat Pack Challenger in 2021. I financed it at 4.2% for 72 months for the reason you mentioned. I am paying double the payment per month but I did not want to be required to pay that much in case I fell on some hard times for some reason. Thankfully everything has been fine and I will soon have it paid off.
At the Dodge dealership here in Calgary Alberta, they have a 23 Charger Scat listed in Oct. for $106k ! .. well, flash forward to this weekend. That same Scat is now $78990 CAD. yep! Prices are dropping!
These channels will disappear when the prices go down to Invoice like they surely will over time. And the dumbasses that paid more than $50K over sticker will ALWAYS be under water with their rigs.....and they deserve it. Don't believe me? Then ask the guys that paid upwards of $25K over sticker for the 2008 SRTs that were going to be "Collector" cars forever. LOL.
$78 CAD is way to much for a scat pack the car should be 50k. There nothing special about 78k for a car with under 500hp no thanx.

I went by the local Dodge dealer and they wanted $250,000 for some "special" 1000 horsepower demon. The MSRP was $125,000😮😮😮😮
A dealer in FL wanted “just” 50k over sticker for their Demon 170, the car didn’t lasted 2 days.

Love your cop car! Had to cop cars back in the day, a 95 Caprice and an 88 Chevy that would not die!! They made great daily cars. Im a local 98 (Philly) electrician working for Navy Yard. I'd drive that as my daily instead of my 1320 which is what I do now. As long as it goes to a good home tho.
Load R/T Challengers are now 8-10K off sticker in my area this week.
We do have 1 dealer that is still marking up vehicles and they still have hella inventory. Sad! Some of their inventory is highly wanted but rightfully not moving.
I have my car and I’m happy and soon will be paid off.

Huntington Beach Dodge had 2 leftover 2022 Challenger Redeyes for 27K off the other week. Cheapest was 61K. Pretty sweet deal.

I have bought three vehicles from Huntington Beach Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM, they have always been fair and certainly not obnoxious.

In this video you mentioned 0% financing on Challengers and Chargers do you know which models this applies to and when it goes into effect? I am checking my local Dodge dealer and I see nothing mentioning 0%.

Wow, I did not know that, that’s what they did to me by shotguning my credit by looking I guess that various banks! I didn’t know they did that because I didn’t even think about it, I wasn’t knowledgeable about that type of thing! Lesson learned. Thank you for the info!
I had a 2011 Mineral Grey State Trooper Crown Vic. It had the on board fire suppression system in it. Regret selling it but at time it was necessary.
Only available on the R/T right now but give it some time and it will be on every trim

I found a 23 Durango hemi orange msrp is 70k and dropped to 56k still debating if I should make the drive or not.

And I’m finally thinking of grabbing a plum crazy super bee for my 28th birthday in September. I’ve been watching prices like a hawk and have been slowly watching prices creep down over the past few months. Do you think $55-$60k is a reasonable price for a 2023 plum crazy wide body superbee ? Just to give a tip for those it helps: there’s an ‘23 RT Plus Manual Challenger at the west Jax FL dealer for $41k. It’s more than $10k off MSRP. I’d get it if I didn’t get mine a couple years ago. 👍

Scats are already getting discounted 3-5k at local dealerships near me. Mainly for challengers tho, the chargers are getting smaller discounts

I love my SCAT pack, it's my second one. Got to the end of this lease, rather than turning it in to get a 23, I'm keeping my 2020. It's better to take the hit on paying the extra interest to keep a 4 year old car than to pay the interest rate and inflation on a 23.

I just moved back home to Florida. Had to take my durango in for an oil change after driving 4000 miles from Washington State. They had mark ups on everything. Went from 1500 and up. Ton of inventory, but I would never pay markups. Give away for the cop car would be awesome by the way. 😊

I said in your last video 8+% interest is keeping me out of the market. But if they drop the rt down to closer to 30k for the basic and 38k for the plus that will be hard to not be driving a new car home

With Dodge and dealer incentives in October 2019 drove my Challenger Scat Pack Widebody off the lot for $8K UNDER MSRP.

I'll tell ya what. OC you are spot on. I got my hellcat widebody for MSRP. I did put down some cash to get into a better payment and 5.3% interest but it was worth it. If they are giving power dollars now and better deals that just proves all your other videos to be correct. These cars are available and you can get good pricing and good rates, but be serious. You have been preaching this.....have your pre approval in hand.....have your check in hand......if dealers only want serious buyers then we only want serious dealers with realistic pricing.

I had a 2001 CV detective car... paid $3000 with 130k. Drove it to 275k and sold it for $3000. They are really bulletproof.

This is somewhat regional, though. Because in my market the rebate for this month on Challenger GT (for an example) is less than what it is for southeast region, but the local dealer increased their discount, so it's been the best advertised price yet.
I'm in Europe and dealers just go nuts here. Challengers are not sold here and can only be imported, so they're extremely rare. It's normal they're a bit more expensive than in the US but lately dealers have been having less and less shame, I've seen Scat Packs for sale at almost 100k Euros

what is going on here is nuts. What they are charging is absurd. They just keep adding money to the MSRP because people are paying what is asked because they can't wait for it to normalize. They have to have the new car now, it's stupid. If people make them desperate buy buying nothing the dealers will stop. They make money at MSRP anything else people pay is throwing money away. Even worse the banks are financing the cars for way above their value. Soon enough there will be huge problems with repos and upsidedown notes. All the people who are this bad with money are going to have their minds blown. That's when the smart ones can jump in on some good deals

Trade Values are dropping like a rock also. Midwest dealers have been selling under MSRP for a couple of months now. But with devalued trade and intrest, still to expensive.

hemet dodge in CA is selling a normal Challenger SXT for 21K after incentives.
I paid $46k back in 2019 for a cloth interior, Destroyer gray 2019 Scatpack Charger with the Beats audio package, driver convenience group, and the Dynamics package! Now, a 5.7 R/T costs $55k! Crazy! I just bought a used, fully loaded, 2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye with 1400 miles on it for $75,900. The car is mint and already has a $2k Corsa cat-back exhaust on it
Some dealers still have 10k markups on regular Hellcats, even after the market is flooded with those, I want a Redeye Widebody B5 blue and you can’t get them, at least not with the options I want, but if I decide to go for a regular Widebody Hellcat, there are at least 5 available with every single option I want on it. I’ll wait for a bit more, some guys got themselves a Demon and they’re selling the Redeyes they got with very few miles on them.
You need to pass this on in Texas regular hell cats 50k mark up.

I just got a 2022 R/T 5.7 last year for 4k off MSRP. Dealer screwed me over with the finance rate by running my credit twice, and made me get all these coverages which I’ve come to realize were pretty crappy. I’ve decided to finish paying off my car, and am considering upgrading to a Scat Pack. Not sure if it’s a great idea however given my trade in/car value has supposedly plummeted still after putting my car at 4.5k miles.

I had a pretty well loaded 2012 Challenger that I ordered new. I would like to buy a new one, but pricing a new equivalent one is almost twice as much. 😵💫And that is IF I can get it at MSRP. 💸
But I have a nice low mileage V6 Charger that’s paid for now. So I will just drive it, and maybe look for a nice used, heavily depreciated Challenger down the road. 🤷🏻♂️
They tried to sell me a generic 2023 charger rt for 52k out the door yesterday and 60k for a Daytona edition. They are still stuck in the mud. Salesman said he hasn't sold a vehicle in a while and most staff has moved on.

We run a nonprofit organization call June’s Second Chance Ranch for first responders and veterans. Basically equine therapy for the veterans in the first responders dealing with PTSD as well as animal rescue. Anyways, hopefully somebody could get this vehicle does not get it just to sell it.

I was on the fence about getting a Challenger R/T. The Dodge Power Dollars pushed me over the edge. I ended up getting exactly what I wanted for options, and it ended up being 8K below sticker price. Not the best deal in the world, since sticker prices are so high on the 2023’s, but not bad either.
