It is over for Dodge. They dug their own grave. No one buys a Dodge for their V6 engines (unless it was the SRT-4 back in the early 2000’s, which were sick!). If you have a 5.7, 6.4, or 6.2, hold on to it if you can💪🏽
I remember you couldn't find these on the lots. Now I drive around, and now they're a dime a dozen!
41k for a GT is mind-blowing! I got my RT brand new for 37k!
What year is your RT?
Because everyone bought into the "oh its the supply/demand" bs back in 2020. They got away with it then, so why not continue to try it now
The sad truth is that even with 20K off it’s still 40K for a car that every time I turn on the news someone stole a Charger or Challenger. Not to mention that’s a 800 plus dollar payment….
Ha.. 800 payment, Bare minimum ! an that's if you have a huge down-payment. It's the financing rates that cause it. Putting a 10k down is becoming required by banks..because of the unprecedented number of repos. And banks take into account that these are not average everyday cars that people NEED. Considered novelty cars...an that's the big risk for banks..because when people can't afford their other regular bills..thus type of payment would get 'tossed aside' by owners
U can get a 5.0 for 36k 💀💀💀let dodge rot in hell
You can spend your 36k for a 5.0 and let your money burn in hell, or you can try to grow an I.Q., stop your petty jealousy, and buy a real muscle car.
5.0 is less of an engine. Of course it's cheaper. Not by much though.
stop glazing and buy me a 2023 widebody hellcat redeye for 130k msrp@@RedEye19
They played themselves. Prices are out of control. Used GTR/911 vs new Hellcat for the same price is crazy.
PRICE, PRICE,PRICE! Dodge priced themselves out of the market! Why is that so hard for them to understand? 🤬
Naming the Challenger all the different things and not building another Muscle Car is their own fault.
The incentives are not showing up on the window stickers. I'm finding SXT models $10k off MSRP. That's the price for a Corolla!
I got my new challenger gt for 29,250$. Yeah its a v6 but i love it for everyday driving.
lol i paid 35k for a low mile mustang gt premium performance pack and they want 36k for a v6.
Wish someone with deep pockets would buy out the Chrysler/ Dodge/Jeep/Durango lineup from Stellantis...and tell them to kiss off...then drop the prices for starters but keep building the Hemi and bring back the 'Cuda for nostalgia.
Please keep em coming man! I appreciate these educational videos 💯 great content!
The prices have been high since the pandemic when the supply lines were disrupted. Most dealers now won’t even fight back if you say no mark-up. Give it a couple months and you will see heavy discounts even on hellcats
I bought a 09 SRT8 Challenger for 24k at the beginning of 2019 50k miles bought a Whipple for 7600 595hp that's all I need.
WAIT 6 months ! All the unsold cars will HAVE TO BE LIQUIDATED. if you think what you see on the lots is alot..what about all the ones that are hidden in unmarked dealer garages. Ive seen a few RUclipsrs showing places they found
I see a sxt 2023 brand new for 20k. They droppin
Stellantis didn't make the stealerships add fictitious high markups....they just got greedy went to 2 stealerships in my area of south florida and their lots are flooded with last call and hellcats,scatpacks....and they stil have all of the extremely high markups 😮wait another 6 months or so and they will be having high discounts.
Just sub’d. Great channel.
I was looking at a video from Car Edge. You guys are right. Stellantis screwed Dodge abd their customers. Damn shame!
its a shame, that most of these cars are gonna end up recycled and destroyed because nobody is gonna purchase them for these prices.
I bought my widebody the first year it came out fully loaded hellcat challenger in 2018 for 79k out the door. That includes tax title and license. My same vehicle in 2023 was 99k. No thanks. Stellantis killed mopar. Maybe on purpose.
Not stelantis the dealerships dug themselves their own graves and when you walk into a dodge dealer now they still at it!
Real talk i dont even feel bad about this, they jacked up the prices intentionally so now they can suffer lol
That blue super bee is selling by me 62k no mark up
I remember buying my '18 Challenger Scat Pack brand spanking new for $36k! Man them prices are ridiculous right now?! And Mopars are still the most badass last real true muscle cars on the road...."Dodge, the brotherhood of muscle"
These challengers and chargers are like the Air Jordan 11's except these cars are not selling out😂🤣
these prices way out of touch the reality what is going on pay cut era after covid what a bad timing a freaking good cars
Like I said big Dawg…..they will be there this time next year lol, they just move them around to rotate stock, but they are soo loaded with inventory it’s difficult for some to do, and they still are advertising for dealer mark up and all the limited edition…… you hate to see them just sitting there, but the prices are insane, you can buy a used C8 for 60k…..
Dealers going up cause they know it's over. They thinking let's get as much as we can. Cause when them ev's come we are gonna go bankrupt
Yea, I can see your point. America is about to shift fro gas to EV is right around the corner .
Overload!,
First, no one wants to buy a car that is being discontinued. The interest rates don’t help.
Lastly, is the sudden jolt to all electric or a inline 6 turbo. Not exciting.
Dodge should have worked a little harder at retaining there heritage of muscle than selling out.
I bought me a new 23 Challenger sxt for 5K off base msrp here in CA. Love the thing. Already spent about 4 grand in mods so far and haven't done wheels and tires yet. Carbon fiber stuff adds up quick. Rear exhaust delete, polished stainless quad tips with a K&N system from 5000-6200 RPM screams like nothing else. Just below 5 grand it sounds so nice for a 6 cylinder.
I like the sxt they’re a lot of fun to mod 💯🔥
What’s up bro I’m new subscriber we appreciate the videos can you please get you a nice mic set up 💯🙏🏾🔥
Damn these people are crazy with them car prices I'm glad I bought mye23 Challenger RT plus back in August got mine for 50k with brembo brakes and sunroof and alcantara interior 😮 in South Texas
I saw another video where they talked about the top 10 worst selling cars in America and 3 of the top 5 were Dodge. It said when production stopped on the Charger/Challenger that there was over 300 day surplus on lots. It will take almost a year to sell the remaining cars on the lots 😳
7 out of 10 were stellantis group.
These cars will be severely discounted in the coming few months to move inventory. I know Dodge usually has big sales on out-going year between Memorial Day and Labor Day but due to the huge inventory and not much "new" technology to get customers into the dealerships, they will be marking these things way way way down! Currently, I am seeing about $13,000 off MSRP on Charge GTs & they still aren't selling... $20,000 off MSRP is coming soon.
Nope, they aren't making anymore of these., Prices will go up. Most people prefer these to the EV.
I bought a new 2019 challenger TA f-8 green 5.7 loaded. During Covid. $34,995 w/o tax. $12,400 off sticker
I thought you were making fun of a ‘stinger’ package, but no, I was wrong. Who on Gods green earth wants the word Swinger tramp stamped on their car?!?
Dodge needs to go out and ask us what we want and need. Living in the Northern states I want one of these scats with all wheel drive. Problem to is with the economy and govt regulations making these cars so expensive not only out the door price but the interest rates and insurance pretty much make it a deal breaker
40,000 for a sxt n gt’s, u might as well get da scat
Frfr
I think on top of the high interest rates and prices people might be hesitant to buy a discontinued muscle car at full price
These people straight trippin' with these prices, just....LOL. All them cars just rotting on these lots. Dirty, dead batteries, and flat spots on all the tires. $56K for an RT 😂😂
I paid 45.000 for my Daytona 2017charger octane red. Brand new 😊❤
I'm confused as to why anyone is still looking to purchase these hood cars...there played out now...sold my 2017 HC and moved onto BMW... couldn't be happier.
Stellantis clearly never cared abt the dodge brand long term. They never redesigned. And literally milked the brand til the last drop. And gouged the customers base
I think the spell has been broken and its just not the hot car anymore and going electric will be the final straw/ nail .
I bought a new 2023 challenger gt for 29,250$, what ya’ll think?
39k for v6 sxt😮 back in 2019 my brand new off the lot rt 5.7 v8 was 37k out the door no down payment that’s crazy how these prices are high
Try pausing the vid when he says "$39K for an SXT. Look at the model name on the window sticker. It's a GT.
Show the challengers?!
Imagine how much Dodge dealers are paying every month in lot space. Being greedy sometimes comes back to haunt you.
like the b5 charger super bee [ has the Challenger scat pack 1320 drag pack ] but with the sticker cars you have to get all the stupid opt s lot of us don't want, me I want just analog raw driving experience no driver assistance package , no nav no 18 speaker sound system
Its not everything, but take into account too, these cars dont like to sit for that long without running either, a hemi sitting sometimes for a year in these lots through all the different temperatures and weather., i wouldnt want to buy a 'brand new' car like that.
Good point 💯💪🏾
"we have $39K for an SXT". Nope, it's a much nicer, sportier GT model.
Spoiler alert, lol
I feel u
Tim Kuniskis Killed Dodge Ram
at this point doge done for demon 170 for 300k😂
Just got me a Daytona 392 for 40k, monthly payments is 325 a month with limited warranty till 150k miles, my credit at 740 but I had to put 15k down for that kind of deal, plus 8% apr and I’m 24. Just save up money and get the shit u want its not hard, look around and be patient lol yall just making it hard
What year is it?
Where is this dodge dealer located?
Waco TX
Went to website, lots of the challengers not listed. Don't see the shaker challenger on website of Allen Samuel. I am here in Cleveland Ohio area. His cars are over priced .
These cars was only popular because they was cheap and affordable to the poor people. They was never on the level of mustangs or Camaros . Dodge knew this that’s why this whole thing is a cash grab
You write like you don’t know jack about current muscle cars and especially about economics. When you write: “they was never on the level of mustangs or Camaros” you’re right - they’re superior in every way to both.
@@RedEye19 if that’s the case why they still make mustangs and not challengers? 😂 why when the challengers price got bumped to match mustangs they stop selling while mustangs still flying off show room floors? Before u come at me come correct gang
"flying off the showroom floors". Nope.@@samadagoat7769
Considering Mustangs and Camaros were cheaper than Challengers when they were new I don’t really know what point you’re trying to make, it doesn’t make sense.
He's just trying his best to try and impress how much money he has I guess. I could have afforded a Scat Pack Charger with cash but went with the 2023 Charger GT PLUS due to it being a much more realistic car as a daily driver. Young people think if it doesn't have a Hemi under the hood, you bought it because you're poor.@@TrackPackRT
This better not be true because if it is I’m going to get mad and furious
Why not FAST & FURIOUS
Believe it
BRO GET A LYFE LMAO
Dodge is done for.
Looks no different than the FORD, GM or TOYOTA lot. Looking at special edition cars and complaining about the price tag is dumb. Those cars are in high demand by the people that want them. If you want a cheaper daily driving charger get the V6. It's the Government EV that will kill Dodge.
I'll just keep my 2014 chrysler 300 S and do an engine swap
🔥🔥🔥
and on top of them not selling they gonna put there ugly dealer decal on the back like that? lol good luck
Lol 😆 man you funny lol 10k for 345 bageds
My truck is better than any new truck. Why it’s paid for
PURE GREED on the manufacturer!
Dealers are the problem.
Not affordable bruh. It’s trash
The lack of understanding in whos to really blame is sad. Dodge wouldnt cancel out a Hemi becuase "F our consumers" lol the EPA average fuel ecomony for the entire brand (Stellantis in this case) MUST BE 40 MPG BY 2026-8 with 40% EV/Hyrbid by 2030. How else does Lamborghini make anonther brand new 800hp V12 Hybrid without VAG selling a crap ton of VW, Porsche and Audi EVs and silly 4 banger commuter cars. Oh look the Mustang MachE Wow the Lightning... oh look Dark Horse and Raptor R. Hey the Hornet.. you putting 2+2 together yet?
Stealerships still want over sticker.. they.re now a discontinued vehicle so now theyll be "worth more" yet. Stellantis is not to blame, dont get why everyone says it. Stellantis would not cancel an engine thats the ENTIRE brand of a huge chunk of the American market. Hemis werent only in your precious supped up rental cars. You forgot the RAMs both the 5.7 in the 1500s and the 6.4 in the 2500s, Powerwagon and Rebel.
😂😂😂 hilarious
😂💯💪🏾
I want your channel to do well but this content is old news and every youtuber that exists has already beat this issue to death........Walking around a car lot is not good content?
If these cars would just disappear 😂
