My ex called the local PD and told them how she had just witnessed me standing in the middle of the street with 'guns as I sold drugs'. Only reason I'm probably not dead is because one of the responding officers went to school with me. The thing is I was at work.. And she was living in California and called from a landline.. And I live in North Carolina. Regardless I turned out to be the bad guy because I told the cops they couldn't search my house.. Not the person who called and lied about guns and drugs.

This is the thing that drives me insane about the Legality system, It's not what's been done wrong it's who called the cops first, because he who calls first is the Victim not the Antagonist.
I feel you bro. It seems like about one in every five guys has a "swatted by An ex" story. Mine kept me out of the military which was just delightful.
That's always smart not to let the police search your stuff though. If they break something, and they didn't have a warrant or PC because you gave them permission, you have no recourse for recompense. If they have a warrant and they destroy your stuff but don't find drugs, you can file a claim with the department and have them pay to fix it.
Bruh, move to a free state. As a former Arizona cop you would not have been seen as the "bad" guy there.

I had ex wife tell the court I fired my single action .44 inside my condo to get full custody of my kids. Complete lie but it didn't matter that my neighbors who are connected to my condo never even heard a .44 going off the court immediately took my kids away. Guilty before proven. 15,000 dollars later I have my kids back. The ATF is insane for this

I was wanted for dealing illegal firearms in several states. They finally caught up to me on Valentine's day. As we drew our guns (mine being a bulky Thompson of course to fit the theme of Valentine's day) our eyes met. After some talking we decided to lower our guns and settle our differences. Our second date is tomorrow I'm so excited!

Weirdest thing I've heard/seen as a Canadian is watching posts from people who are against guns and want more "gun control" and then they've been to a gun range in Texas or Vegas and posted pictures of them shooting the same guns they don't want Canadians to own.

We all agree that Hitler was evil and awful, but we can also learn from that so we can avoid that type of situation in the future.

It also prevents people from following Sun Tzu's advice to "know your enemy," because if everything your enemy does is inherently bad, then you never really discover their base logic.

The ones like cnn, bbc and fox news aren't as apolitical with agendas, filled with fluff, and complete with details as it used to be 2 decades ago, pre-social media era. It's so bad that memes (that are humor based and arent supposed to be factual and proper journalism) provides better context, or at least pointers to where to start looking. Its not an ideal way to live, I know, but gotta adapt on things i cant change. Local news are 1000% better, though they usually cover just the local ones of course.

Jordan Peterson is the reason I am a youth leader now for my church. His book got me from being a lazy shit to going to college and helping others who were like me.

Went to a range for the first time with a few mates a couple weeks back. Was great fun I'm in the UK so as it's an indoor range only had .22 chambered guns. Was still good fun looking for outdoor ranges with higher calibers now. The one I went to was double duce in Birmingham.

Staying relevant somhow makes me feel like I'm not just wasting my time consuming mindless gun community content as I do during all hours of the day, it's quite refreshing. My ex gf called my work to let them know I carried a gun in my backpack every day to work. Good thing I saw that coming and left my gun at home that day. The boss brought me into the office and asked me to bring all my stuff with me then told me they suspected me of having a gun in my bag, I volunteered my backpack up for them to search and after they found nothing I told them I was going through a bad break up and that I assumed my ex called just trying to get me in trouble. I didn’t end up getting in any trouble and she ended up looking like the spiteful, lying ex gf. I brought my gun to work the very next day and every day after that with no issues.
