Nice shout out for vets... As a vet it's appreciated instead of the standard "thanks for your service" which at this point is an automatic response now
To ALL who have served, I will always appreciate you, you have made a difference. What's happening now is not your fault, this is soley the collossal fuckup of our federal government. Thank you vets and god bless.

There’s a LOT I could say about this situation. Going to hold my tongue on the worst of it, but will say this:
To the Afghan War vet, your sacrifices have not gone in vain. You held this off for TWENTY YEARS. I’m proud of my friends and family that served, and am proud of everyone that served. I’m ashamed that our government betrayed you and the people they promised to defend.
They should focus their energy on those traitors in government that have forsaken us and used us while making us the laughing stock of the world.
Government didn't betray anyone. People who join the military know what they are getting themselves into. Risking your life in exchange for a paycheck. They risked their lives and they got their paychecks. It's not like Vietnam where people were conscripted.
@@frank9644 not a kind thing to say but nevertheless very true. The war in Afghanistan wasnt a conscription war and everyone who went there did so willingly. Still a bad situation all around and the way it ended leaves a sour taste. Cant say I am wholly surprised on how it went down though.
@@frank9644 Pretty much, the modern US army is no different than mercenaries at this point, fighting endless war for the profit of oligarchs.
@@frank9644 You can serve, collect a check and still be betrayed. We ultimately failed the people of Afghanistan and the people who tried to make something better there.
You should just google betray and betrayal.
