- In my "EAS Adventures" series, I fly out from a hub to an EAS community and back to the same hub where I started the journey.
*
In this seventh episode of EAS Adventures, I fly to the unique EAS community of Butte located 358 miles north and slightly west of Salt Lake City. I take the trip on board a Delta Air Lines CRJ-200LR which is operated by SkyWest, and Delta has since retired the type with the last flight of it occurring on Dec. 1, 2023.
*
The day this video was recorded (Oct. 8, 2023), was also the final day of Delta CRJ-200 service into Butte, with everything since then being scheduled on the CRJ-900.

If you happen to be stuck at a hub, fly out and back to an EAS Airport, and you may just like where you end up...ENJOY!!!
I rode N498CA with Comair in Sept 2005 BOS-RDU. It was in their temporary 40pax configuration
Wow, that’s a long commercial flight with them. Although that was probably normal at that time to have them on those type of segments. Were you also in 13A as well? 😅
Nope. 1A
@@airfreak75 dang
Couldn't have begged for a prettier day to fly on!
Absolutely, the weather was fantastic
@@GerardiAviation 6:50 if you pause right here you can actually see 3 headframes
Bell diamond
Granite mountain and
The badger or speculator
@@TPOTfan406 nice! I wish I labeled mountains more, but it’s just so hard finding which peaks are which especially when their a bit far away
I from butte but if you didn’t know butte doesn’t have the crj-200 any more instead they have the crj-900
I know, I mentioned it a couple of times throughout the video, with the first occurrence occurring at 53seconds 😊
@@GerardiAviation Yeah the guy isn't very observant
If I form a private airline with a CRJ 200 do you mind making a YT video of these routes
I’ll try and fly on any airlines I can 😅
@@GerardiAviation I think if crj 200 services would be denver to Joplin and back
