Unrestored 1967 Hemi Coronet R/T Sold

On June 23, 2023, an unrestored 1967 426 Hemi Coronet RT was sold at the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in Las Vegas. It was originally a race car from Pennsylvania and is considered a great benchmark for many areas.

I pray to God someone keeps this the way it is and loves & cherishes it for what it is, and doesn’t rape & pillage it, only to have another candy-coated rotisserie princess that will never be driven. I can feel her, and she just wants to go out for a Saturday drive with her loving owner and show everyone that her dress has a few snags, but she’s still pretty, and can make the young boys look twice when she clears her throat! Please, God . . .

Hello SpressoHead, I read your comment and must say, at 63 years young, I am twice as thrilled with anticipation to see what kind of girl she is. I am at the 14 second mark and hit pause to write this. Not looking for a high dollar maintenance girl but rather a girl that likes hanging with the guys and keeps them guessing what's under the blouse, er, hood. ; ))) I read a comment the other day where the viewer mentioned just how many Classic Car Showrooms are out there. Seeing that and seeing the prices they are asking for those beauties leaves me to think that even though Plymouth made great balls to the wall cars that a regular working Joe could afford, it now has turned into a rich mans sport. The regular man is getting left behind with every passing day. The American Dream is becoming just that, A Dream.
