A Challenger R/T with a hemi and a 4 speed with no stupid looking wing on the trunk lid....what a find for some one who can afford it. I see some here are nit picking on some things....I'd be very happy with it.

The ONLY down side of this BEAUTIFUL specimen is the RADIAL red line tires. If they are going to go all out like this restoration is, just go all the way and get the Firestone Wide Oval BIAS PLY red line tires! Instant COMPLETION!

Since it is a N95 California emissions car, would it have had those exhaust tips, or would it have had turn down tips? I recently got a YCIM 1:18 model of a hemi Challenger pretty much identical to that one, except white interior. My favorite ‘70 color combo! Wish I had room in the garage to add this 1:1 scale version to my E body fleet!

Dave, there is a gent with a channel called Heritage Farms who has found a Special order paint '68 GTX, it's Petty blue and has some VERY interesting marking on it. You need to see this thing!!!

Neither the 'Cuda or this car has the radiator support blacked-out, behind the grille. Was this not done on E bodies?

I love Mopar A Bodies, but $83k ? The new owner will not get anything close to what he paid for it when he wants to sell. The fact that this 340 Duster has been garage stored and unabused for 50+ years is the main reason for it's high price.

Man that interior brings back memories of high school and college. I inherited an 86 Omni from my grandfather and drove it for about 7 years through high school and college. Mine was white with red interior. Wish gramps had been a car guy and bought one of these.

I drove # 404 in Hobe Sound, Flori-Duh in 1992. It had had some bad modifications, but was in good shape. That thing hit hard, it was fun! I still look for one. In 1995 I was in Florida driving my '92 Corrado SLC with the VR6 engine and some guy driving a GLHS challenged me on an open section of I-95 just south of Fort Pierce; His top speed appeared to be 135 mph, and I left him behind as my V6 easily accelerated through 140 mph. I was surprised that he could keep up that much, but I never got a chance to talk to him if he had any mods or not. At the time, my Corrado was completely stock.

Cool car but a 21K mile Chrysler product is basically a 3 year-old hamster. They used the bare minimum amount of metal and plastic to hold them together. You better be careful opening both doors of a convertible at the same time.
