Thank you for watching this video. It was definitely a longer one and I tried to trim it down as much as I could so please use the chapters haha. Some additional things I forgot to mention.
RUclips Pros:
- Full RUclips Studio Analytics that goes beyond just streaming.
- Emotes from basic emoji's to custom ones
- Streaming goes beyond just gaming. You have all the categories RUclips offers that you can live stream in. Even the mobile side of streaming is great.
RUclips Cons:
- Can be very saturated at times depending on what you are doing.
- Lack of moderation tools, especially for streaming.
- The streaming UI / Search is just a mess

@@CreoVox decided to make my live video on Twitch and export then to RUclips then if I play off live I just upload gameplay video to RUclips directly so a bit of both but mainly twitch to stream and youtube for content

Great video! I have been debating on trying out RUclips streaming for a while now. I’m currently a twitch partner and avg 100-120 viewers. Would it be a good idea to split my week into 2 RUclips streams and 2 twitch streams if my plan is to grow my RUclips? Also, how hard would it be to achieve RUclips affiliate by live streaming? Thanks!
Thank you for checking out the video! Glad you found it helpful. Also amazing work on pulling that many viewers and the achievement of partner! I agree with your split approach tho. Doing 2 days on one and 2 days on another. If you are wanting to hit partner on RUclips you can do it from just streaming, but its going to be faster if you do long form content / shorts. People come to RUclips for value (educational, entertainment, skills, etc) vs Twitch where people come to watch games or hang in just chatting. So its a different creation mindset on RUclips vs Twitch.

Excellent video, thank you. I'm a new owner of an X3 cam and I'm sort of pigeonholed into livestreaming on YT. I wish they had better discoverability but I suppose I make Tiktoks and IG reels. Need the X3 for stabilization as I'm trying to build a cycling stream. Would go with Twitch if I could.

If you already use tiktok and reels then I'd throw youtube shirts in there too. Shorts are getting pushed big time. Just make sure you really optimize that short with tags and good descriptions. Feed the algorithm bot as much as possible.
@@CreoVox Thanks for the advice! Yeah, I'm going to start with YT streaming because of necessity and ease in my niche, plus it builds that backlog automatically. A few ppl carry backpacks with modems and chargers and god help you for IRL Twitch cycling but with the Insta360 X3 my understanding is that I can stream through one phone straight to YT and catch chat on another phone/tablet. As far as mounting things on handlebars, this is fairly mobile without adding a bunch of weight. With unlimited data finally being affordable, I'm excited to get some IRL backtrail streaming in :]

Thanks for the video! I'm kinda doubting if twitch or youtube is more suitable for me. I want to start streaming games like Rocket league and just built a community and hang out with then in chat.
I kinda feel like twitch is too overflown by the bigger streamers.
You're welcome and thank you for watch the video. Twitch would definitely be very saturated for something like rocket league, but youtube might be a good place for it. Depends on the type of content you plan to make (casual, ranked, competitive, educational, etc). Have you looked at Kick, or maybe Trovo?
@@CreoVox Never heard of Trovo. Kick i'm kinda skeptical about due to the fact it promises 95/5 ratio, has the exact same layout as Twitch and is owned/created by a gambling company. and according to sme rumours it has some botting problems with bots joining your streams to artificially boost it.
The content I plan to make is mostly gaming such as Rocket League (casual), overwatch, fortnite etc. And some JustTalking streams.
With youtube I'm not sure if then I should create a separate channel for gaming or do it on my current channel which I also already use for photography-type videos.

why not just multi-stream to both at the same time?
You could but also multi casting is against twitch tos. But honestly no one listens lol
