How To Never Pay For Drinks At A Theme Park

Chances are you hate to spend money on Refill Cups or beverages at theme parks. The margin between manufactured price and retail is ludicrous and it is just a way for the amusement park to make a high profit. So to avoid spending your money on drinks for the day. Here are a few tips and tricks to hack the system. I have to warn you that they aren't the most honest. However, when you compare it to the upsell on the soft drinks. It's barely a loss for the amusement park selling them.

We bought the 30.00 for year have been to cedar point 7 times this year. I have literally filled my cup 40/45 times easily. I then ask for a water cup as well.

We bought one season cup for Cedar Fair and Six Flags & have been to the parks a total 9x so far with 3 days at Cedar Point & one each at Darien Lake and Over Georgia planned in the next month. My wife goes through Diet Cokes like you wouldn't believe. They've already saved me a small fortune.

All good until cedar point can’t build their launched 500’ trex because some RUclipsr just gave away the secret to cheating them out of one of their biggest profit sources /s… honestly tho $32 for a year of drinks (or 2 w/ 2020/2021) is a really a good deal. We refill 5-10x per day and have probably been to CP and KI close to 50 times in these 2 years, so that works out to like 10 cents per drink.

Just buy an all day cup and bring a bucket. Fill it to the brim, take it home and put it in the fridge. Then you’ll have your money’s worth

For universal you could cut the bottom of the cup so you just have the chip put it on the reader and use a funnel to fill up the spix flags/cedar fair cups you have

I was at some theme park as a child... It was in an old nuclear plant and soda, chips and ice cream were free. It was such a weird place.

First I love coke. But I have a Six flags cup from December 2020 and used it at Over Georgia and St. Louis and did t say anything. But tne reason why there so expensive is they make so much money. A lot of parks u can’t bring in bottles they make u throw it away or drink it

Those freestyle machines at merlin parks make you have a barcode so you can’t just get free coke same as universal

I do agree about your coca cola take to an extent... I like it, it's definitely not good enough to be the world's most popular soda. My favorite is personally Dr. Pepper.
