They should build a new larger plaza stage area behind the studio store where the front of Rip Ride Rocket once sat. Super Silly Fun Land with arcade games and a family coaster could then be built across from the Minions Cafe in the old plaza stage area. Back to the Future and Hill Valley deserves its own land as a future Epic Universe expansion. Ghostbusters can eventually takeover Jimmy Fallon and the old rip ride rockit plot next to it.

In my honest opinion! I want Knott's Berry Farm to bring back the Kingdom of the Dinosaurs. It's their only defunct ride I need. 🦖🦕🦣

This just proves knotts is a superior park and what makes a park so amazing is not just lots of coasters but the park cleaness, attraction, and vibes.

I dislike that Disney bought a lot of studios and it but are not doing a good job with their products. Ruining many movies. I remember Disney being creative.

Why not multi theme the ride? Make it a roller coaster remembering all the original rides? Make it themed after: BTTF, Ghostbusters, Jaws, Earthquake, Kongfrontation, ET, Hitchcock/Psycho, Nickelodeon, Terminator, Animal Actors Show, Fievel, Hannah Barbara, and the original Universal Horror Monsters… or whatever mixed and matched IPs from that list they see fit? Maybe in one twist it plays the Psycho music and you knife down into a water area where a Jaws fin and shark pop out of the water as the iconic Jaws theme plays, and then you lead into the earth shaking as buildings begin to quake and crumble but then you relIze it’s Kong on a building as you pass him he screams and blows banana breath, and then you pedal along with ET as you reach a peak and then go right into an 88 MPH finale as back in time plays and you finish with Ghostbusters spraying the Universal Monsters you pass to get you to safety. And just when you think it’s all over, here comes the t-1000 but don’t worry, the Hannah Barbara gang is there to dump a bunch of Nick Gak and Slime on him so you can finish away to the end of the ride and be greeted by I Love Lucy and other Golden again icons wishing you a safe exit and continued fun day at the park?

Might just be unlucky. I’ve been on Xcellerator more than 20 times in 2024. Sometimes it will close then 30 mins later it will be open again. That happens with many rides

I think you just have really shit luck on Xcelerator lol. I used to have season passes and like 85% of the time, Xcelerator was open. It's the best ride in the park so axing it would be a huge mistake.

If you told someone in 2014 that the biggest coaster to open America in 2024 was a Schwarzkopf looper they wouldn’t have believed you.

Partner with Wild Rivers and sell them the Soak City slides. Raze Soak City and build a proper parking sturcture in the current parking area. That'll give them enough room for significant expansion.

And this is just Standing capacity, as in you just walk around the paths and maybe visit a shop. If you take ride capacity into account, even the best ride I can find Pirate of the Caribbean with a capacity of 3000 people per hour, it would take almost 34 hours to cycle 100k guest. Basically even if you stood there all day, you might not even ride one ride.

I would love this. There’s still platinum gold in the 80s if they tap into it. Moms and dads will be more motivated to take the kids there. It’s a solid fact.

The reason Xelorator was closed for so long was because it was going through a major renovation. They are not removing it any time soon

Whats your opinion of Knotts? Mine is simple, an affordable theme park that thrives on imagination and simplicity. I think one has to look at the demographics of who you market your theme park to. Knotts is affordable to families in my opinion and they cater to that group. Im 67 years old and find my tolerance for giga rides has diminished in part due to my gut. So the kiddie rides with my grandkids have been a great substitute. Do i want more unruly teenage/adult kids disrupting my good time by adding a giga ride. The park to me offers the peace and tranquility that the other park down the street has abandoned for profit. If speed and thrills are your view of a theme park Six Flags can feed your appetite. When it comes to expanding i would like to question the idea of why not turn Soak City into thrill rides and do away with the water. Funny how i enjoy the simple train ride now. I guess as i have aged im not in a hurry in seeing things pass me by.

Been going to knotts for 20 years and xcelerator is not unreliable. I doubt they would remove it considering they have a bunch of spare parts now.

Xcelerator was broken, obviously, and all parts were finally manufactured. It's open all the time now. I was just there.

Knott's has multiple lots. They have a f-ton of land overall. They could build across Beach Blvd easily. No houses along Beach and La Palma.

The day I heard that that the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster was going to be rethemed I absolutely freaked out. The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is one of my absolute most favorite attractions at Disney World and every time we go to Hollywood Studios I make it a point to ride it at least once. I even have a RnRC Magicband+. It's also one of the reasons I'm such an Aerosmith fan. Now I am a Muppets fan, but even though I do associate the Muppets with music, the kind of music I associate the Muppets with is ill-suited to the RnRC, in my humble opinion. I associate the Muppets mostly with showtunes, stuff like Rainbow Connection, Movin' Right Along, It Feels Like Christmas and experimental stuff like Mah na mah na. Now the Muppets does have a rock band in the form of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem but they are more of a psychedelic rock band and none of their original songs have the same energy as the music of Aerosmith or any of the other bands Disney was considering when they first were building the RnRC. This is ultimately my biggest concern with the retheming of the RnRC to The Muppets. The only possible way I can see it working is if they have Electric Mayhem do covers of existing rock songs that fit the RnRC especially considering that it's a high-energy roller coaster that launches from 0-60 in less than two seconds and is the only roller coaster at Disney World with inversions. I for one would love to see the Electric Mayhem perform Walk This Way. I can just imagine Animal shouting "walk this way!" during the refrain.

Id like to see one of the new gen Intamin impulse coasters go where Montezuma is.

I feel like the main issue is that Knotts is a park with very limited room. I visit this park regularly and I’m not so sure they have room for another big coaster without taking something out. But knotts has been working hard the last few years and really putting the effort in. They redid 2 whole areas, refurbished xcelerator and they are releasing montezumas forbidden fortress this year (supposedly) (A remake of a classic ride at the park) all of this happened in the span of like 3-4 years.

Wonder if they could turn one of the parking lots into a garage and turn others into space for support buildings, and use the previous space e the buildings occupied to expand
