I think the bigger reason that the ride remains is that they're not going to put a new Simpson's themed ride into a land that might not last more than a few more years. Honestly, I think it would be nice to scrap it and turn it into a nice garden area with picnic tables, benches, and lots of green grass. I think Theme Parks underestimate the power of just having....space. Space for folks to gather and breathe without having to stand around a trash can or a tiny dark corner of the park. This is especially true as Universal expands and becomes more of a "multi-day" park. It's nice to have an area to breathe during a long park day without any popular attractions or reasons for giant crowds to gather.
Last year, that's what I would have expected. However, Disney badly needs any revenue they can get to offset things like the Snow White debacle and the drop in park attendance.
although I enjoy Transformers and Simpsons I don't think there a single thing worth keeping at current Universal Studios besides Diagon Alley, which also just so happens to book end the park with a convenient backdoor tram meaning it wouldn't have to close if they redid the entire front of the park.
It was a fun and understandable redo back in the late 2000s… But now it’s tired… Long in the tooth… And all the land itself is OK, the ride is just awful. I really would like to see the whole area dozed in some exciting attraction or land built in its place.
IMHO, the ride is the biggest issue. The land itself remains fun, but without a really solid ride to anchor it, there's not much point. Although, it is kind of fun to finally be able to try the real world equivalent of some of the Simpson's food.
Holy christ, the later seasons are not that bad, you have just seen the bad episodes. Every season has at least one great episode. The most recent seasons have been highly regarded. This overreactionary nonsense about a great show becoming an average to pretty good show has ruined the entire discourse of the series.

Thanks for the video! 💪🥳
I think the bigger reason that the ride remains is that they're not going to put a new Simpson's themed ride into a land that might not last more than a few more years. So, if they took it out, it would mean no rides at all in that land or a super cheap ride that could be paid for before they lose the rights. If they do opt to renew, then we likely would see a new ride as that would make some financial sense.
I can handle all the rides at universal studios and islands of adventure but for some reason the old back to the future ride and the simpsons ride made me sick . I stayed away from it
the rides been all day years
Hill valley?
Rumor has it that the Simpsons land will be replaced by a Pokemon land.
Why does literally everyone assume it's gonna be Pokemon that will replace it?
@@bluegold1026 Because of Theme Park Stop, who has reliable sources.
not only that the new york area in osaka will also become pokemon so people are assuming every studios park in the world will get a version of pokemon just not sure what kind of ride it will be
and lost continent will likely be replaced by legend of zelda land
@@bonnielovely Just like the Pokemon rumor, everyone assumes Lost Continent will be replaced by Zelda as well. Why does everyone assume that as well? It seems like nothing but a shared fever dream
Do elmore!
The Simpsons could stay for a little longer in terms of Pop culture. It seems everything minus the '80s to now is irrelevant
Screens can work right like transformers and spider man, not the simpsons, it’s terrible the ride. I do it maybe once a year if that and I have a AP
The simpsons now is better then when it started.
i hate rrr haters
Simpson's is Americana. How could you destroy it?
Honestly, I think it would be nice to scrap it and turn it into a nice garden area with picnic tables, benches, and lots of green grass. I think Theme Parks underestimate the power of just having....space. Space for folks to gather and breathe without having to stand around a trash can or a tiny dark corner of the park. This is especially true as Universal expands and becomes more of a "multi-day" park. It's nice to have an area to breathe during a long park day without any popular attractions or reasons for giant crowds to gather.

I’m pretty sure Disney would just hike up the licensing fees for the Simpsons to coax Universal into giving up the rights.
that’s if disney even lets them renew, they hate each other 😭
Last year, that's what I would have expected.
What’s with this thumbnail 😂
which one i have three going
This overreactionary nonsense about a great show becoming an average to pretty good show has ruined the entire discourse of the series.
here is my take: seasons 1-15 are the best, 16-20 are not as funny but still good tv, 20-28 are watchable but i get bored at times, 28 beyond is where I started dropping off the show.
I heard that the Simpsons ride at USJ is being turned into a Pokémon attraction
That was the spider man ride
@ I am well aware
The Simpsons land the best🫶🏻😔😔 i LOVE Their merch stores
