And say it’s the “discount” price when in reality the discounted price is what that item worth. It may seem like common sense but trust me, people can fall for this all the time.
I appreciate his determination. His crew is already active in the area so yes, he just made his company and extra $150 that wasn't expected. However, going from $250 down to $150 is a huge difference. That's nearly a 50% discount and you're telling your customers you were about to make a huge profit. Undercutting yourself that much is a bad business move. Should have gone from $250 to $225 and then $210. Showing confidence in your product and production.

Being an entrepreneur is not easy guys but don't be discouraged. Here's good points. 1. Solve a problem and offer a better solution. So dont think of an idea. Think of a problem to solve. If you don't have large reserves of money it will be hard to compete in mature markets. So better to create a product or service that is innovative. And enter a newer market that's growing. So live in the future and build something you find interesting and solves an actual problem better than other pelle and do it. Take action. It's easy to operate up a company if you have millions of dollars and compete in mature markets you would take ricardian position.
