Flight of Passage at Animal kingdom was by far the most immersive ride I have ever been on. I thought I was dreaming when the opening sequence happened. Also, the Ratatouille ride at Disneyland Paris was also a very well put together attraction.
My top is Spider-Man and I'm glad it's on this list. The story is great and the use of 3D is the best of any theme park. I've been to Tokyo but not the Disney parks there. Excellent video! This ranking is fantastic!
I have another video coming out soon for "another top 10 immersive rides" where i accept my failure in not recognizing other theme parks... lol thank you for commenting!

This is the best theme park video I have seen, gj dude. it sucks that you have only created one video. as someone with a channel I am throwing you a sub for the great work you did.
Bruh, you implying new test track is an objective improvement is gonna give me an aneurysm. The original looked and felt like a magic 90s physics textbook come to life, and that charm is what made the ride. All I can see with the new one is soulless corporate cleanliness.
Great job on this video. Did you know that Dinosaur uses not only the same mechanics and ride vehicles as Indiana Jones at Disneyland, but the exact same track layout?
i love superman escape its a accelerater coaster in australia and is well themed at the started pretty cool! but these rides u showed are outstanding wish i could go!
Amazing list! I agree with almost everything on here. I think my only change would have been Test Track for maybe Haunted Mansion or one of it's clones at the other disney parks. Love your content and I look forward to seeing more videos!
I agree with most of this list! I would swap Dinosaur and Indiana Jones though. I've ridden both and will definitely say that for both of them being the same ride system, Indy is far more of an immersive and thrilling experience! I wasn't impressed with either of the two Harry Potter rides though. My personal list wouldn't include either in the top 12. Really good rankings otherwise though! I'm sure now you would probably include Rise of the Resistance in an update!
We need a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea & Journey to the Center of the Earth rides at Disney World, there are still 3 very underdeveloped parks, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot Center. Any of those parks could use a half dozen more rides, these would be a good start.
Wow interresting to see Dinosaur that high. I mainly hear People say its much weaker than Indianna Jones and Journey TTCOTE. But amaizing list! Its only rides you have ridden right? I haven't ridden any of these, but my 3 favourites are the amaizing trio of darkrides in Efteling with Symbolica, Droomvlucht and Fatamorgana! Love them sooo so much!
Two of my all time favorites that aren't listed are the two Star Trek rides that were in the Las Vegas Hilton. Being transported to the Enterprise was one of the coolest effects I've experienced, and having the Borg come after you was intense.
Have you had a chance to get on Hagrid, Velocicoaster, or Rise of the Resistance, yet? I think they would all have to make top 5 in a new list, arguably. I have never seen a roller coaster with that much theming & immersion. I agree with most of what you had, but updated for 2021, i'd say: 1. Shanghai Pirates: this is just the most incredible dark ride i've ever seen and i've only watched on youtube. This is fair 2/3: Forbidden Journey/ Gringotts. These are pretty much on par. Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade in Universal Orlando are the most immersive lands to date, anywhere. 4) Rise of the Resistance: Universal hollywood studios Orlando. This is absolutely fantastic. This was their response to the Wizarding World and Disney did a hell of a job. Super immersive and a fantastic, ambitious dark ride in general. 5) Velocicoaster: unprecedented for any roller coaster. The theming of this coaster sets a new standard for future thrill rides 6) Hagrid: another ground breaking, immersive Universal Orlando creation in the Wizarding World universe. Instantly becomes a top ride for anyone that rides it, largely due to its immersion. Honerable mention: The Mummy, Universal Studios Orlando... I am surprised this did not make the list! I thought its use of animatronics, its queue, etc. is at LEAST on par with Dinosaur from Animal Kingdom. IMO, The Mummy is far more immersive, not to mention a far better ride, all around. They replaced a CLASSIC in Kongfrontation with The Mummy and I think there were barely any complaints. Killer immersive dark ride, without a doubt. ...
I'm taking into account that this was made 3 years ago and there are some INSANELY great new rides around the world that would probably knock several of these off your own ranks, but I do feel like you only focused on Universal and Disney. Fair, as they are definitely two of the top contenders, however there are some really excellent rides across the globe (outside of the US, too) that are hidden gems in what you were judging. Some, yes, less animatronics, but I definitely feel like you ought to consider broadening your horizons on the plethora of attractions out there! Perhaps you have, it's been three years. LOL.

Where does the California Jurassic World ride rank among here now? That ride did the best upgrade I've ever seen Universal ever pull off AND it even has more animatronics that enhance what was previously there!
Wow. I have been on a lot of these. You need to go to Europe too, there are some great attractions. I was/am still blown away by Spiderman, and Hogwarts is in another class. Indiana Jones came close but I found the ride vehicle to be showing off the technology too much which I didn't notice in Dinosaur!. Can't wait to see Tokyo and Shanghai someday- Shanghai's Haunted Mansion variant is also off the charts.

The BttF ride was really fun. It was a motion simulator dark ride. It was replaced by the Simpsons ride, sadly. The ride that's on my bucket list is The Haunted Mansion at Disney World/Land.

What an amazing coaster!! I'm really glad you brought that one to my attention. I did a bit of research on Phantasialand and the coasters there are awesome! Though, personally, i feel that outdoor coasters have a difficult time immersing someone in an environment due to either the speed at which they move, or that only sections of the coaster is themed. I will definitely keep Phantasialand in mind when creating a "immersive rollercoasters" video. I am about to release a video with "another top ten immersive rides" soon!
