The creativity and uniqueness absolutely elevates it beyond something you'd experience at one of the other major parks. @baldoguide9759 WUT. I would be petrified. I thought that was an employee guide at the wheel. Just in general, I ain’t driving with dinosaurs in my periphery, just no.
The fact you even get to drive the car yourself is really cool, it’s not just an automatic cart you’re forced to just sit in watch passively everything going by. Very neat
It’s 95% automatic. It’s essentially the modern day equivalent of a guide track that let you go left or right by a few inches. Now a days the tech is more advanced and they either use an underground tracking system or proximity sensors. Multiple times you see him turn so much he would have made a 90* turn into a wall.
I have experienced this attraction many times because I live near the park. I can assure you that there are no rails, underground tracks or "esoteric systems" to steer the jeep. The steering wheel has a lot of gearing, meaning you have to turn the steering wheel a lot to make the tires steer a little. This gives the impression that the steering wheel is not connected to the wheels. You only have one pedal to throttle. If you release the pedal the jeep brakes. The engine's RPM is controlled by an RPM controller similar to a lawn mower's RPM controller, when the slope of the terrain increases the engine drops in RPM and the controller gives more throttle. Hidden in the four corners of the jeep are lidar-type radar sensors. If you get close to the edges of the track, the jeep slows down. If you are too close to the edge the jeep automatically brakes. To unlock the jeep you have to countersteer and reverse until you are far enough from the edges (the jeep automatically engages reverse). I hope I have been helpful
i've never seen an attraction like this before but it looks incredibly promising. hope we can see more interactive/passenger controlled experiences similar to this and millenium falcon smuggler's run at disneyland. it would open up huge opportunities for the future of theme parks and allow for more integration of technology like virtual or augmented reality

Honestly for a smaller owned theme park. This is very creative. Would love for the dinosaurs to be less statue like and have more movement but looks fun! Amazing job to the creators.

@RickSpears If/When they do something like this at the Universal theme parks here in the US, I think they should use the glass balls from the first "Jurassic World" movie: "Hey, man...off-road." (6/15/2023)
There actually used to be a ride very similar to this, minus the dinosaur theming at a now defunct traffic focused themepark (Verkeerspark Assen) in The Netherlands. Where you could drive gasoline powered jeeps around a "off road" course. There was no theming, but still very neat to drive a jeep on a non- fixed track course. So it would allow for turns (when allowed) to skip a part or take a more adventurous route. It's good these types of rides still exist! They are a lot of fun!
"Where you could drive gasoline powered jeeps around a "off road" course. There was no theming, but still very neat to drive a jeep on a non- fixed track course. " Soooo, basically just Europeans taking the American concept of a "Jeep Trail" and turning it into a theme park ride? Sounds boring. Oh, and there's no need to specify them as "gasoline powered jeeps", Jeeps are, by default, gasoline powered.
@Princess_Celestia_ Yes, for Americans that would be boring. It's all about perspective. Also the height requirement was 54 inches, so anyone that met this height requirement regardless of age could drive these cars. Especially in a country with extremely strict driving regulations, this was a breath of fresh air. Like I said, it's all about perspective. What seems boring to you, could be something amazing for someone else.
The possibilities of this are amazing. Couple this with the animatronics in the JWE Beijing ride that follow the car and you could have a legitimately terrifying chase scene.
This isn't Disney or Universal? Pretty amazing for an independent park. It isn't really 'Drive Yourself'. It appears to be some sort of wireless/cable underground driving. I saw the driver spin the wheel to the right several times, and the car kept going straight, and the steering wheel was never really centered, and it still kept going straight. Cool ride, I hope to visit it sometime. It looks to be temporally closed, hopefully it is just a seasonal thing, and not permanent.
This is what I always thought a Jurassic Park Ride should have been like.. amazing that a theme park with a smaller budget was able to pull of an equally immersive experience. Especially if you’re a kid, I bet their imaginations run wild when they ride this!
Rode it this weekend, and it’s moderately entertaining. The music is really difficult to listen to on constant repeat though, and the whole attraction could benefit from a few additional effects, even something as simple as fog or lighting and sound effects.
More like idiots would crash the car or get out to take pics. I would have totally miss the trex at the end if the guy didnt point it out. I would have just kept driving straight. Cool ride tho
I've never seen a dinosaur themed rid that lets you drive before! It is so awesome! While it would be cooler if some of the animatronics moved a bit more, for a family owned theme park, this is amazingly done that it makes up for the lack of movement! I hope that more rides are like this one.
that looks like so much fun!!!! we have a little park where you walk through a nature area passing dinosaurs of various kinds and the kids LOVE it. They would have a blast on that one.
I’ve never understood why universal studious still hasn’t redesigned the boat rides to be Jeep’s on tracks with a long track and feeling of being chased by a trex.he boat is such a weird way to have done Jurassic park justice.
@@freelands8355No. It isn't. Not once is there anything in the books that would inspire a RIVER ride. Which movie would have had any deleted scenes that could possibly inspire a river ride?

I can see this being a really good idea. Only problem is I'm also seeing people damage the equipment or generally be idiots with it too: "Hey ma! Watch me drive this jeep outta the ride, hyuk."
It looks like the ride won’t allow you to do that. It had collision/path sensors showing on the screen if you got too far off route. When the driver here tried to make a tighter turn out of the little theme scene near the end it stopped him and he had to reverse before he could turn more and continue forward.
Hey there, I work as a stuntman there. Usually you got the guys at the start operating who can easily reach you to help with a dirt bike if you crash or get stuck!
This is absolutely insane, I could see there being a deposit and waiver if this was at another park. it's a little rough with the music and how you see the windows media player logo when it switches videos. Also a lot of the dinos aren't functional. but it's so cool that you get to navigate on your own. Appears the vehicle at least has bumper sensors, perhaps a crash avoidance system. it would be interesting to know how they handle vehicles that get get stuck or of course
@@pastorlife1569He is clearly driving the thing. At two different points, the vehicle has to stop and backup. Self driving vehicles are NOT even close to that advanced yet.
@@TheResidenceKamparJMB it has, but you can't use them because they're self activated when you're not accelerating. I drove the car and I met engineers behind this attraction and I can guarantee that you are 100% driving the jeep. You can't go off the track thanks two Sick sensors and if you get stuck, backwards mode is activated to let you get unstuck.
That reminds me... Universal's Islands of Adventure was, in fact, going to have a Jurassic Park themed ride called Jeep Safari, but it was cancelled, unfortunately. If they had gone along with it, it would've been built in the spot where Skull Island: Reign of Kong had been built instead. Seeing this also reminds me of the automated self-driving car and animatronic dinosaurs that were seen in the Netflix interactive special "Hidden Adventure" of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous.
The dinosaurs need more motion, which is difficult considering the outdoor setting and limited budget. I would submit for consideration: 1. A few pteranadons fly over the road, suspended from camouflaged rails. Ahead of the jeeps, in the middle distance, would enforce the illusion. Loud screeches would draw the drivers attention before the fly-over. 2. Larger dinosaurs could move on ground rails, their lower bodies hidden by carefully placed rocks and vegetation. 3. What is imagined can be very scary and relatively cheap. Rustling bushes and dinosaur sounds with a glimpse of moving head or tail would be very effective. 4. Drive through a dark cave with the sound of scurrying and tiny glowing red eyes blinking in the dark, along with am overhead roar and a blast of foul breath. 5. Utahraptor suits worn by employees in waist high vegetation to hide human legs stalking the jeep on both sides of the road. Just a few things I'd like to see on such a ride. A little more practical than expensive animatronics.
Imagine if Universal tore down the traditional water ride for Jurassic Park / Jurassic World and made it into a legit jeep park tour where, obviously, something goes wrong and you have to outrun a t-Rex or indominous Rex. In Beijing they already have an animatronic on a track that chases you. Imagine blending that with this.
This would be a great concept but after I've seen the idiots at Disney (climbing out of ride vehicles, sticking body parts out of ride vehicles, climbing on top platforms that say to not climb etc) I could see this not ending well. Someone would drive off the road and hit an animatronic. I guess I just don't trust others to behave like normal sane people.
A ride concept like this can give ENDLESS possibilities for a lot of theme parks across the globe!

Soooo, basically just Europeans taking the American concept of a "Jeep Trail" and turning it into a theme park ride? Sounds boring. Oh, and there's no need to specify them as "gasoline powered jeeps", Jeeps are, by default, gasoline powered.
@Princess_Celestia_ Yes, for Americans that would be boring. It's all about perspective.
Also the height requirement was 54 inches, so anyone that met this height requirement regardless of age could drive these cars. Especially in a country with extremely strict driving regulations, this was a breath of fresh air.
Like I said, it's all about perspective. What seems boring to you, could be something amazing for someone else.
@Princess_Celestia_ Ooh, you sound a bit assmad. Take your meds bud
The possibilities of this are amazing. Couple this with the animatronics in the JWE Beijing ride that follow the car and you could have a legitimately terrifying chase scene.
I really love this attraction. One of the best rides out in Europe in one of the most underrated parks ever.
Cool
That ride looked amazing you get to drive your self through a Jurassic park style set I loved how the set was made and the animatronics looked awesome
I love it! I'll take these animatronics over Disney's lame projection screens every day of the week.
The description clearly states there is no track or cables for the Jeeps.
Where is this?
@@Alemissyb Movieland in Garda Italy
So excited to try this out in a few weeks! Looks so much fun!
xD I love the raptor who's fork-lift certified
If it started raining on this tour I would freak out and drive straight out the park
😂😂😂😂
WOAH!! A plus man! The concept is a world changer! I love this idea!!
That wouldn't work in the USA cause people at the back will shout at you if you're slow 😂.
More like idiots would crash the car or get out to take pics. I would have totally miss the trex at the end if the guy didnt point it out. I would have just kept driving straight. Cool ride tho
Lol true
@webguy943 and that doesn't happen around the world
@@Crunchy_Cool not true because most drivers in the US are great
You're wrong because it happens everywhere
I didn’t know these kinds of rides existed, it would be cool for me to realistically and actually get to drive the vehicle myself on thjs
I've never seen a dinosaur themed rid that lets you drive before! It is so awesome! While it would be cooler if some of the animatronics moved a bit more, for a family owned theme park, this is amazingly done that it makes up for the lack of movement! I hope that more rides are like this one.
Ahh come on it looks like great fun!!
If I was a kid, this would be the coolest ride ever.
that looks like so much fun!!!! we have a little park where you walk through a nature area passing dinosaurs of various kinds and the kids LOVE it. They would have a blast on that one.
Man, I love this Idea! How come the Universal never thought of this?
WOW... what a fun ride ! Would love to due this
I’ve never understood why universal studious still hasn’t redesigned the boat rides to be Jeep’s on tracks with a long track and feeling of being chased by a trex.he boat is such a weird way to have done Jurassic park justice.
Plus they ruined the ride now with Jurassic world theme. It’s so dumb looking, those movies are junk in my opinion.
The boat ride is cool. Either there is the boat ride, or no ride at all. So be glad we have a Jurassic ride. It does the novel and the movie justice.
@@Stewieboy1995, you might not like the movies but the Jurassic World ride they built is extremely well done if you like fast roller coasters
Well the river ride is based off the novel and deleted scene
@@freelands8355No. It isn't. Not once is there anything in the books that would inspire a RIVER ride. Which movie would have had any deleted scenes that could possibly inspire a river ride?
I live close to this park, they work REALLY well with not any Main famous brand in the back!
they are doing an AMAZING job and they are always growing step by step every year
movieland♥I had a great time there, much fun
It's very unique and a really cool ride. I kinda wish Universal had a Jeep Tour for Jurassic Park
As an American i can say... we couldnt handle the responsibility of driving ourselves 😅
This is what Jurassic The Ride should have been...just 10x more Dinos!!!
It doesn’t look like he’s actually driving this vehicle.
@@pastorlife1569you drive the veichle, it has sensor and not allow you to go at the edge of the path
Hey there, I work as a stuntman there. Usually you got the guys at the start operating who can easily reach you to help with a dirt bike if you crash or get stuck!
Ilove it... So cool I wish Universal Hollywood would do something with this feel to it!
It looks great!
for a small theme park, this is absolutely great
I LOVE theme parks in other countries! This is awesome!
It doesn’t look like he is actually driving. It looks like he’s pretending to drive. It seems like this is a self driving jeep.
@@pastorlife1569He is clearly driving the thing. At two different points, the vehicle has to stop and backup. Self driving vehicles are NOT even close to that advanced yet.
@@protoborg Bro, come on! The car doesn't even have brakes.
This is so cool there should be more off-track off-road themed rides. The sensors on the screen is a really neat feature.
now THIS is an adult autopia I can get behind, what a great concept
I just got my reason to go visit Italy 😂👍👍
I never seen this ride before of Jurassic Park!!!! Awesome video!!!! This is an amazing ride!!!!
Loved this whole new level of immersion.
Universal needs this with real JP theming. Imagine driving up to the JP gate as it swings open.
This is so cool! I do think it could have been better with a bigger t-rex and more animatronic dinosaurs
The dinosaurs need more motion, which is difficult considering the outdoor setting and limited budget. I would submit for consideration:
This is better then Universal.
Excellent park ride my friends 👍👍
Thats pretty awesome!
One of the most impressive rides!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
What a hoot. Movie land is on the bucket list 🎉
Wow,! I think this is fantastic. Yep, right up my alley!❤
I wish they would expand that area to add that awesome idea
If only Movieland had a larger budget for the animatronics. This is a really cool idea.
so much freedom for a ride
It actually looks like fun! Another good excuse to travel to Italy! 😁❤️
The raptor in the forklift, lol. Love it.
So cool, was hoping for more dinosaurs along the way but still fun!
Beautiful
So 😎 cool!
Even if the animatronics didn't work at all and were statues its still a pretty cool tour like ride.
You can drive youreself? This is amazing! The “offroading” is awesome
This is such a cool concept especially for this ride!!!
That's wild, I like it! Won't be long until everyone starts copying this.
Pretty _interesting (😃)!_ Reminds me of the cancelled "Jeep Safari" ride planned for the "Jurassic Park" land at Islands of Adventure.
Ahh I knew someone was going to bring it up 😆an ur right
@@maruozon8795 😁
I think they should bring it back
@@freelands8355 Agreed (👍).
That is AWESOME!
I’ve dreamed of owning something like this.
Amazing 😻 Dinosaurs 🦕
Love it.😊
THIS IS INCREDIBLE
That looks awesome!!
That was bloody fantastic.
This is genuinely a very interesting concept for a ride! It can only get better from here!
That guy loves to point😂
This is great!
Just amazing 😍
Omg such fun. I want to try this!!
This is so cool!
This looks awesome!! 🦖 🚗
