Mine is when Mara says “you looked into my eyes” and the jeep suddenly jerks to the left.
Mine is coming around the bend after seeing Indie and seeing another jeep shuddering on the bridge ahead of you ( 5:18 )
Mine is the mummy looking thing cuz when I saw it I had my dad laughing because I shouted THE MUMMY FROM UNIVERSAL ITS THE MUMMY
I must say that this is a goated ride with a goated queue heck the best queue in the park
After I graduated high school, my grandfather took me out to Disneyland. It was like 1993 1994.I Remember this ride wasn’t finished but you could walk around the beginning of the line there.shame I didn’t get to go on it as it wasn’t done yet.
I’ve been going to Disneyland for 26 years and it’s one of my favorite rides I ever ridden. The ride opened when I was a little baby. I can’t believe me and the ride are both gonna be 30 years old next year! I can’t believe that .
This one really blew me away back in the day. It's still a great E ticket! They definitely should put a version in Florida.

They trimmed it down since people in the theatre room weren’t seeing the safety video. The original, opening day pre-show video was even longer than the previously, untrimmed version

It has been over 30 years and of course things change but I remember this ride being more immersive as the car would be bumping and twisting thru out the ride. No one was there at the time and me and the kids went on it twice. It was great. this ride seems now more sedate.
LOL, I was on this during Star Wars Nite on 4/16/24. Ride had to stop at the last turn before Indy was hanging on the rope/boulder scene. Stuck for 15 minutes with the lights on until they started it back up, and asked everyone if they wanted to re-ride again.
a trackless Indiana Jones would be ideal, coz the tracks always give away the surprise in this ride

Got stuck when he was hanging over us and then it lurched forward without the ball rolling. Very funny and very awkward with him just staring down at you.

More likely everyone headed over to Resistance ride, I swear all rides after 1990 were a hike to the rides. That new railway in toon town is a walk.

I have a couple of techniques I use to reduce the amount of shake in the video, the ride is still very bumpy haha
I use an a7siii for the video, but there's also a lot of editing like grading and noise correction to make it look this bright and colorful
depends on what time you were comparing to.
1. The bumpiness was nerfed due to the car may break down if it keep doing high level of violence bumpy movements. But this change was quite a long time ago.
I hope you get to ride the original version of this ride.
It was fun with more realistic features than shiny cheesy projections.
1. The gate you enter changes in the beginning
2. The god statue was more cool and no cheesy projections.
the japan version will stop the car at there for a few seconds, allowing the god rants for a few sentences, and shoot a giant smoke ball at you from the mouth.
The god will shoot laser beams from the eyes.
This make him look pretty pissed off.
3. The bridges would shake violently while the car cross slowly.
6:06 You can still see the hole at the connecting point of the bridge and the springs, that originally allows the sting to pull and release, causing violent shaking.
4. In Japan version, there will be a giant tornado forming beside the bridge, and the broken statue of a skull will shoot laser beam with very loud noises trying to shoot the car.
But at least the giant snake finally, finally can move again.

It wasn't broken. It was working. Lmg's jeep entered the room as it was resetting. When this happens, the room doesn't work, but for the next jeep it will. It's weird, I know.
Not sure what caused this issue, but it was back in 2013 when this issue became bad.

I was there yesterday and 2/4 of my rides had a working boulder
Excellent video! It really illustrates the length of the un-occupied queue that has no low-census shortcuts. People "racing" (like a morning rope-drop) simply to stand-still for a pre-show. I have'ta say, Universal has better attendance-flexible queue lines. And Universal's ExpressPass shortens the queue even more. I love Disney, but prefer Universal's "system".
One of the problems that led to a quarter-freakin'-mile queue was trying to fit the ride building into the existing park. An overhead view shows it tucked WAY outside of the Adventureland thoroughfair. To get to that building is quite a jaunt.

I remember riding this back in 1997. When we got to the Arrows part, I ducked and my dad laughed at me.
i just wish they would bring back the revolving door effect, i also miss all of the white and realistic lighting, not all of this colorful and crazy colors
It looks like it’s improved since they re-hauled it but it still seems to be a stretch from what it originally was. I wish they would have had some of the projection mapping technologies back when they first made the ride, you would have really gotten the best of both worlds. Still a great ride, I went on it awhile back. There was a spot where a shadow created what looks like a wall and both times it made me flinch hard thinking I was about to hit something.

The ride is way outside the park. The queue tunnel goes under the Disneyland RR.

Ok when I went on this ride the second time it went a bit more faster then it did last time
This ride has never run at 100% efficiency. The boulder in this case did not go as planned.
However, I like they added more graphics in the dark rooms where the rats used to be.
And the snake is working again! That’s great!

I rode this on my high school grad nite back in 2017. That was the last time I was ever at Disneyland. I want to go back soon. Maybe next year, for it's next deca-annual anniversary
Edit: the ride stopped twice. Vehicles were getting too close. Once before the skeletons attacking the second, right under Indy, just before the boulder

Thought ride looked really cool 6-7 years ago. Now I think, what a rip-off. Seeing Indy hanging by rope above car was only thing good about it. Glad I haven't been there to stand in line for 3 hours. I Live in Ventura,CA.
This ride looks amazing but compared to Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom it's a walk in the park. Disney Worlds version is way more intense.

Why were you lucky to avoid usual line that you would usually stand in that took you the 1st 3 minutes of you video to just walk straight through. Disneyland has gotten way too crowded the last few years. Pay $500 to get family in then only got to go on three or four rides.. spent most of the time standing in lines😮

Typical disney ride. Good effects, tells a story, but it's basically boring- a ride through scenery.
