The spelling is very so extremely incorrect you sholud check before post a video like this one. Besides that, Colombia i'ts a big country therefore you can NOT make generalizations what is known and eat in a region is not popular in another, plus better be sure of the true meaning of the words" " calado" does NOT mean or tranlate "old bread" is a specific ki f of bread made and cook in a different form..you take your time to investigate about the fruits, flavors, spelling their names and real names!!! Ahhh and for the record not everybody nor in all regions people has soup for breakfast!

Okay dear, look, youre right, this is breakfast only in the Andino part of the country (the inner part, the mountains, where two of the most important cities of the country are) this would be around Antioquia and Boyaca, where coffee is cultivated, and simple, corn flour arepa is also commonly made, in the coastal area the food varieties more, they also have arepa (arepa de huevo). And in la guajira as resources become more scarce they eat mostly fish and goat meat, but around the country and as a generalization this is pretty good and as a Colombian i would say its accurate.

Don't worry; we have delactosed cheeses too. I must highlight that these guys seem to love cheese. There are lots of Colombian traditional treats and dishes with no cheese in them.

Agreed. I’m Colombian and I only crave the bakery foods (buñuelos, almojábanas, empanadas, pan de queso, etc.). The bandeja paisa is pretty good too but the food is more simple compared to Mexican food which is spicy 🌶️ and has more flavor.
