Hate to say this but very poorly researched. Majority of us Indians do not eat Halwa puri for breakfast, thanks.

That's because people from the USA have no idea about geography and what "Mediterranean" can mean. The source they probably got that recipe from said "Mediterranean region" talking about the northern african coast and they thought about Europe.
Because yes, shakshuka comes from Tunisia and is eaten all around the Maghreb... If you re-watch the video with that in mind it'll make sense

Can I just say, as a Brit, a fry-up is typically a luxury you have at weekends or on holidays or if you go out for breakfast (or lunch or dinner most cafes in the UK do a fry-up all day) because it takes time to cook and prepare everything. Yep. It varies from place to place. I have eaten rice, idli ,sambar, eggs , fruits etc. But never eaten halwa puri for breakfast. I mean yeah , some might have eaten that. But only on navratri, or call it for a dessert. Eating puri(too much oil) and halwa(sugar and stuffs like that ) is more to be unlikely healthy and we may vomit. But wait if your comment is positive one that make your comment wrong and it should be negative one.
But wait......
Big brain time
burgem bira true and positive arent the same thing idiot...
People like to complain for nothing. Who cares if you don't eat that what they said you were eating? Also I am sure they know that not everyone eats that every morning. They just what they found out through their research.
"Let's eat shakshuka for breakfast" said no Greek EVER. 😂 Now, where is my frappe?
I stole it
It's a Maghrebi dish, they went to the other shore of the sea with that lol
Where is my fredo
@@adamelhawari166 yeah they should have done that for morocco
@Nostalgia for Infinity No, I'm from Spain and I've never heard it, it's definitely not common and known here
Seeing colombian changua on the list makess me soooooo happy :)
2:34 I was once in Turkey and love that breakfast. It's healthy and yummi.
I feel like Food Insider purposely puts incorrect information so the rest of us continue commenting.... we see you.
Lol
Food insider team is smart
Omg
@@veterinarianputra8383 no they're not ffs
Admit it, everyone just eats cereal
asians don't eat cereal, we eat rice
I dont buy a lot of cereal. Full of unnecessary sugars which make you crash earlier within the day. (And im an American mom of 3)
im mexican and i do xD
@@cecilycook5592 ok mom i am thankfull my mom aint like dat ( im 12 )
@@user-ei8bc9kx8u 🤣🤣🤣 glad im not your mom my oldest is 12 as well 🤣🤣🤣

India needs a seperate video coz every region in India has a different cuisine
Yup
Virendra Vikash well every country is like that duh
Stfu u
Bhae Jain People in Malaysia undoubtedly all love Nasi Lemak whether its Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner.
It's the same for every country. Every country has a huge variety of food depending on the region.
No one:
Food Insider
: Just casually skips Africa
Because in Africa the breakfast is always running
Well, africa is a whole continent. They did cover some coutries that have african roots
Morocco is in Africa.
Oh, so Morocco is not in Africa. This is news to me
Shakshuka
I genuinely cannot believe that there is no dim sum in the list. It's so huge that so many people are eating it not only around Asia, but also in the west. Was kinda shocked that it was not included but it is still an interesting list.
Finally one of these videos where the UK entry isn’t embarrassingly terrible. Fry up representing us well
but nobody actually eats a full english breakfast everyday of the week
You've never watched Supersize vs Superskinny, have you? 🤣
If they want a heart attack they will
north side of india, parantha and subji, south side = idli, dosa, pongal, puri
its not that easy india has lots of cultures with huge number of peoples in them some having more population than countries so india will have a 30 min long video covering all the breakfasts
@Zaid Nezam same
West side- poha, vadapav, thepla, fafda jalebi

My mom and 4 of her nine siblings were born in Mexico. About an hour outside of Guadalajara. It's where my grandpa grew up. They all live spread across Houston-Galveston and Denver now. I have only ever seen and eaten chilaquiles made with green salsa
Chilequiles is my favorite dish. My mom, grandmother and aunts cook it best! Many varieties of this dish across Mexico and the US, my favorite ends up something like a caserol, just chips with eggs fried on top then stewed in chili sauce for about an hour until the chips absorb all the sauce and become soggy. You can fry the chips yourself using corn tortillas, and add onions and parmesan or feta after cooked. Also wonderful with a flour tortilla and refried beans, even in a burrito.
But definitely not an every morning type of breakfast, but definitely a special treat once in a while. Menudo and Juevos Rancheros are also excellent Mexican breakfasts.
As a Mediterranean citizen I have never heard before the word "Shakshuka"
i'm a triggered italian now. We eat some biscuits and a coffee/milk. Stop
@@yalyali5 It's a Tunisian dish but variants of it are eaten all across North Africa and the Middle-East, therefore it is a Mediterranean dish but mostly eaten on the other side of the Mediterranean sea.
@@yalyali5 We are eating Şakşuka (Shakshuka) in Turkey too. Its an
appetizer in Turkish food culture...
its north african thats why lmao
Based off of the comments, the usa was the only accurate one
I don't know about chana masala for breakfast, aloo paratha with yogurt is more of my breakfast type of thing.
Facts. Although most times it’s just prathata and butter and Dein ( yogurt)
Yeah ikr. It’s the most common in north India
Clayspo lol northern India it’s literally paratha and dein (yogurt) for breakfast lunch and dinner lol
idk about the other countries, but you nailed it on the Filipino side. Tapsilog number 1!
Changua being included is a plot twist I wasn’t expecting
Very poor researched... it like someone that stay only one day in a country and think they know everything about it
BW X this is what you learn about other countries during “diversity week” in public schools
Um it’s not around the world if you didn’t include anything from Africa
Morocco doesn´t count then?
I feel sorry for Africa
yea and there isn't any from Australia or New Zealand
Kids are so delicious... LMAOOO
