There's something weirdly captivating about seeing completely normal and routine daily life happening all over the world.
Because It's relatable to most
Ita facinating to me
Agreed :)

I like when you put the prices
My favorite part of this is that it’s the more realistic *buying breakfast on the way to work* instead of a full at-home meal
I always prepare my breakfast the night before.
@@MrDjafal1 idk if its just me but i like home cooked meals freshly prepared
I never eat breakfast out, I only prepare it at home....
Because the video is breakfast (to go)
I try have time in the mornings to at least prepare two eggs with toast. Don't really like spending money eating out.
When I was in Mexico City, I went to that torta cart for breakfast and it was the best thing I had on that entire trip. I will definitely go back the next time I’m there.
Everyone: buying food from shops
Japan: Convenience store
Now I really want to go to Japan just for the convenience store😂😍
@@VASIGTravelingLifeinLondon worth it honestly LOL
@@xxlovelyoxanaxx Are you from Japan? x
honestly there aren't really many (if any?) shops here (I live in Japan) that feature breakfast. going to conbini is typical if you want something in the morning - and it has a ton of delicious food and good variety! otherwise people usually eat breakfast at home.
but japan convini foods are good tho... Try their fruit sandwich for breakfast! It tastes, omg..
South east Asian people : what breakfast? that all snacks.
A thing I can relate
I also thought of the same thing. But then I read the title again and it says "to go". So it makes sense.
In Malaysia , we have kuih which is type of small dessert or pastry that usually sell for breakfast ie. karipap
@@hanisnasri4343 I like Currypuff too, but I prefer nasi lemak tho. I'm Indonesian my self😁 Malaysian food r good👍

As a Taiwanese, I'm really glad to see food from Asia in the video.
5:05 That Fantuan is a luxury version (60 TWD). I usually eat ordinary Fantuan, which costs 30-40 TWD (equals 1-1.3 USD).
6:00 Her action to flip the plastic bag inside out is pretty cool. The wisdom of a vendor.
What is the difference between the luxury version and the version you usually eat?
@@taraalma2 As a huge fantuan enthusiast I’d say its the options that made it luxurious, for starter the purple rice though common but it’s not severed at all fantuan places and it’s usually a bit pricier then her choice of fish floss is kinda interesting too it’s also not served by every fantuan places! The classic (for the northerners in Taiwan at least) fantuan uses white sticky rice, with or with out egg, pork floss (dried shredded pork that kinda melts in your month while packing the sweet+umami flavour), youtiao (deep fried wheat flour dough. MUST BE CRISPY) anddd home made pickles! I go to my favourite fantuan lady for her spice home made pickles!!! (She also got purple rice and would make me a half white half purple one when she’s not busy, love her 🙏🏻
thank you
As a Mexican, I actually love the fact that they went with an on the go breakfast item that is the torta de chilaquiles. It's really quite filling but not so much where you feel stuffed afterwards. One of the best breakfast items in my opinion especially when going off to work
The Asians with their rice and the Westerns with their bread. Try combining both and you got Nasi Lemak Burger in Malaysia's McDonald lol
they served nasi rendang burger as well in indonesia😂

Anyone notice how the Jamaican dude said: "150 for a small cup, 250 for a big" and she got a small and he charged her 250 anyways
Oh no, you're right D:
Even though he overcharged her. It’s only 1.75$. So no biggie
@@clashstudio2014 Minimum wage in Jamaica is 6,200 JMD (44 USD), so an overcharge like that would be quite big for the average Jamaican, maybe not for the average person in the US or something.
Thats how mafia work
Maybe, she knows the guy and she sometimes get the porridge on credit which she pays later as an accumulated charge.
-How much for the porridge?
-150 small, 250 big cup.
-Give me one of the smaller ones.

Lol
Mmmmm! As a long time fan of savory breakfasts, and with international and eclectic tastebuds, I really enjoyed this, and it has made me very hungry! I would happily try all of these!
Interesting how many of these breakfasts would be considered lunch in north America.
We love our food 😁
true it was weird
In Argentina the only thing that is considered as breakfast is: mate (it's a caffeine-rich infused drink is made from dried leaves called yerba mate mixed with hot water. The leaves are dried chopped and ground into a powder. It is then drunk through a metal straw (traditionally silver) known in Argentina as a Bombilla) coffee, tea, croissants with dulce de leche, cocoa milk, toasts with butter and sugar, and sometime it happens that I eat for breakfast a slice of pizza (the good one, in Argentina we have the best ones in my opinion) or empanadas (Empanadas are usually shaped in half-moons and range in size from pop-em-in-your-mouth dumpling size to calzone size. There are a lot of fillings like meat, chicken, cheese and onion, caprese, ham and cheese, etc.
The last ones are not very common tho
On the other hand there are so many U.S. breakfast items (waffles/pancakes) that other countries would consider desert. Culture is a funny but cool thing :-)
many of US breakfast food would be considered lunch or dessert in my country too :3 (bacon and eggs would never be consumed at morning, only at lunch or the end of afternoon, a sandwhich at breakfast would only have cheese and ham, not avocado or eggs. pancakes, brownies, waffles are all desserts - big desserts - too XD). to add, japanese breakfast foods wouldn't really work either. we don't eat rice, soup, fish or vegetables at morning - only lunch and dinner. each country has it culture XD
I’m not gonna lie Taiwan’s purple rice fantuan looked absolutely stunning! Could just eat it x
It’s fairly cheap to bring satiety for one meal
it’s so goooood! the pickles inside are my favorite. ngl it’s so big when i have it i don’t even want to eat lunch anymore
Yeah it's good
Go to the Philippines they have many purple rice and different food made out of rice
I noticed that too. Like, is that the best rice ball ever? *drools*
I am fromTanzania and seeing food that my mom makes at home, makes me feel special.😌

7-11 takes the word 'convenience' to a WHOLE new level in Japan.
Seems like everything in japan is way better than what America has
I miss them when i was in japan. Their food is always fresh and deicious

Every time I'm in Japan I practically live at 7-11. The food is amazing. You can buy booze at any hour including hard liquor. The prices are low.
Countries: Have unique food that is made fresh and traditionally
Japan: Welcome to 7 Eleven!
Germany, where I come from, was definitely not traditional too. It was just some of the many baked varieties you can buy here. Every shop has there own ones. I have never seen somebody eating the one she bought.
I live in Nuremberg :) I know this one and I like them too - though you're right, that it's not a really traditional breakfast but more like a snack ;) To defence the japanese choice: all of those breakfasts are "to go" ;) A typical japanese family breakfast is way more balanced

Well, at our German school, the most eat pretzel 🥨

In Singapore, either of these two scenarios would happen for breakfast;
#1: You would go to a kopitiam/ coffee shop, and order kopi (coffee), kaya and butter toast, and soft boiled eggs. You would pour soy sauce and add white pepper to the soft boiled eggs. Perfect blend of sweet and savoury, really.
#2: You just eat whatever you find in your kitchen, like toast or cereal.

Lol India's kinda dirty when my friend went there he had to buy special type of water to bathe so I'm kind of skeptical to try India's food lol
@@zcgao405 India’s dirty because of the 1.3 billions people jammed in there. Aside from the pollution, India is a great country with great food.
@@zcgao405 i would have agreed if you commented this 10 years ago, but right now we are modernising fast as ever, so i doubt that your friend will face the same problems if he visits our country again.
@@zcgao405 can u specifically name at which part did your friend visited or are u a member of bbc propaganda?
@@btsthelegend8650 lol. BBC propaganda. Sure.
the five Filipino foods I and my family usually eat for breakfast:
1. Silog - literally means garlic fried rice and egg
2. Tocino - basically filipino bacon
3. Champorado - A chocolate porridge
4. Pandesal - Filipino Bread that's good with almost everything
5. Kakanin - A sweet rice cake
That all sounds delicious!
You forgot the taho
