The dishonesty from Eddie Hearn is breathtaking. The only reason Benn's suspension was lifted was because his lawyers successfully argued UKAD did not have jurisdiction over a failed VADA test.

The only way to avoid a UKAD suspension over a failed test is via technicality, as UKAD operate under the rules of strict liability. Strict liability meaning you are responsible for the substance being in your body no matter how it got there and will be suspended as a result.

Cleared on a technicality (jurisdiction). The evidence he put forward had nothing to do with it. Got a free pass basically.

Benn hasn't fought for 18 months, might not have been handed to him but he's spent more time out the ring than Fury who wasn't even fighting at the time when he recieved his 2 year backdated sentence and Canelo who tested positive on 2 separate occasions. Not to mention countless others. Don't think he's innocent at all, but where is the consistency in boxing ffs

He never failed a UKAD test thats why he's cleared to fight with UKAD. They could have asked them this the day after the ban, but they waited and spun it, to look like he's been made innocent. Nothing's changed, Benn still has no BBBoC license because he failed a VADA test and wouldn't accept the punishment. Benn is not able to spar any British license boxer now also.

You cant just make shit up mate he handed his license back (dumb move) because BBBoC wanted to ban him despite passing his UKAD tests and them not recognizing VADA testing, he is not banned from any boxing activities world wide unless BBBoC file and win their appeal.......i guess you think Tyson Fury is banned from sparring BBBoC license holders too ?

This entire process supposedly starts 8 days ago....
Eddie contacts the Texas Board.
He then goes to Florida to get the licience.
He negotiates with all 3 boards (Texas, Florida and US board), to set up a boxing match under licence for Conor Benn.
Florida says they will contact the BBBC to confirm Benns status.
The BBBC apparently give a speedy retort (lol of course they do).
Florida Board then demand Benn has to get a VADA test.
Benn has a test with a VADA person somewhere in the world and the test is taken to a lab somewhere.
The test apparently only took 2 or 3 days to turn around the result (Monday past).
All sides happy and hes cleared to fight.
Announces on a British sports show on the Wednesday (8 days later).

That's not true.
UKAD have publicly said they are appealing.
A UKAD statement said: "UK Anti-Doping can confirm that it has filed an appeal in respect of a decision handed down by the independent National Anti-Doping Panel regarding anti-doping proceedings brought by UKAD against Mr Conor Benn.
"As confirmed previously in UKAD's statement on 28 July 2023, Mr Benn is no longer subject to a provisional suspension. The appeal process will now be followed in accordance with the UK Anti-Doping rules."

Cleared to box, not cleared of wrongdoing as UKAD were prevented from testing/ruling on a sample they didn't collect, as confirmed by Eddie in his sit-down with Gareth. It's the whole reason UKAD are appealing, so massively misleading to try and claim Conor has been through a process with UKAD.
Only reason Conor is getting stick and all the others who have tested positive aren't is because he is the only one who seems to think he is above justice and is having a fight before proving his innocence.
